  1. Hey everybody, I know this has been done before, but I wanted to share my Purist Scooby Doo and the gang. It needs a Mystery Machine real bad, but I'm not up to it right now.
  2. @DraikNova, watch Mad Max, The Road Warrior and Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. I can see how it might not appear to be sic fi, as its mostly a car, but the movies are sci fi classics. They are a lot like Blade Runner in that the visual style has been reproduced many times throughout fiction and even music, like in the form of Tupac's California Love video. I will say that personally I think Thunderdome, the third movie, isn't that great. Also theres no better time to watch these as they are currently in production of a remake starring Tom Hardy. Sooooo, Idk, I'd say a recreation of something from an iconic sci-fi movie mostly about cars, would count. But let me say this also, this is a WIP and perhaps a more grandiose scene containing dystopian characters and battle cars and such would definitely count, and that may just be what im working on.
  3. Max's Interceptor, my first attempt at replicating a famous car. Max and Ironbar (Thunderdome)
  4. @ Repeter, I was looking through your figs again. I had a note. A better Blade hair might be the flat top you are using on Colossus.
  5. @Repeter, awesome stuff all around. Finally got to taking some pics X-Women Deathlok (curious what you think Repeter, I took a pretty different approach. On my first try I used a similar dark gray head) Prof X with a regular wheelchair Black Tom Cassiday Heres some team-ups using some official super heros minifigs Iron Fist and Chang Shi Hulk vs. Abomination Cable and Deadpool and my Doc Strange with Wong. That was a lot to get out. Oh hey, Doc Strange is not purist, I made his cape. When I ordered a Zurg cape online, it was for the giant model of Zurg, so I cut my own capes out of it.
  6. @Oky, I could see using it for Iceman, or anybody that uses energy projection/lightning powers, I think its the most exciting new thing for a minifig, sorry if you're sooooo tired of hearing it, first I'm seeing it.
  7. Holy Crap is that a transparant arm!?!?! I wish fleshie legos didnt look weird to me, so many useable parts coming out but I only use yellow minifigs.
  8. Not sure if this counts but it is made to scale with minifigs, uses minifig parts and is able to hold minifig weapons and tools. Wish I had actual purple pieces instead of this maroon, it photographs the same as reddish brown.
  9. @ReZourceman, loving the obscurity. I can see you're a greater marvel universe fan, I'm gonna keep trying to bring the obscure mutants. Gonna take some photographs later of some new stuff. @Repeter, I'll try to take a picture of ghostie's chopper in a way that maybe you can recreate it, I'm all for sharing, and ghostrider needs a black a chopper man, it just looks awesome.
  10. Honestly dude, I usually rock him all black, but because the bike was black I needed a little more contrast. Typically I give him the dark knight from 2 minifig series ago (red package) legs so he looks especially metal. And thanks for enjoying it! I do a silver surfer too, despite you being totally right about both characters (lame).
  11. Fright Night Witch would be perfect for Madame Web. You could use Doc Ock from the newer Ultimate spiderman set's face, he has round red glasses and looks aged. As for Alpha, I know what hair piece I would use, but beyond that I need some time. Oh I just realized are we talking classic Madame Web or Julia Carpentar?
  12. Hey Everybody, I'm new here but purist superhero legos have been my game for quite a while. My blog has hundreds of purist creations, most of which are comicbook heroes or villains. X-Men's Fantomex X-Men's Pixie http://jakemeierlego.tumblr.com/
