Boo! Whatever, I can live with it. I can't use the scroll of newtity until I'm lvl 23 anyways at the most, so yeah. Life goes on.

"Righto, Arthur! Also, if I get hit with an arrow: totally your fault." Karie piles onto the Warden from the back row.
-
During the fight, Karie takes a potion from the back row, her thoughts and attention elsewhere.

Alien Infiltrator Karie, here we come!

I'd like to see Heroica's story end, yes, but dropping it there seems drastic. Even after the main plot's over, there's still things that need to be done, villages that need to be saved, character arcs need to be resolved, and in Gibbin's case, rats to be slain, but I would love to see a spinoff set in the modern era! Don't know why I want it set in the modern era, I just think it'd be cool!

Karie stood in her spot, staring Octavyn down. She was staring down the entrance to Eubric's underground. He was probably ex-Wolfgang, and might have known who her sister was. If if he didn't, he would know something. "So what else was consider "common knowledge" about my sister?"
-
Karie clenched her fists. Octavyn was letting on more than he knew. "So Kayla did bed Ulric, didn't she?" There was no cocky smile, or sense of wit to her. Karie looked up at Octavyn. "Do you know who I am, Octavyn?"
-
Sorry. I keep hearing about it on the boards, but never knew what it stood for.
-
"Leave Arthur out of this! Besides, what Wolfgang leaders? Every single last one of them is dead except Ulric! Except Ulric..."Karie couldn't explain why this disappointed her. Maybe because it reminded her of the fact that she'd never meet her sister after nineteen years of lies, maybe because Ulric might be to blame. Maybe because it reminded her of being alone.

"Damnit, Em!" Karie drags Em to the back, and behind the party's line. This seemed all too familiar. "I'm no letting you down. Not now!" He would make it, but it wasn't the wound that worried her. She took her piece of paper. It was still blank. She was going to threaten Patricia, but why? Her move on the captain would be swift and brutal. If they did lose the fight, she'd remember nothing of Masson and his visit... and of Kayla. She wrote on the piece of paper in quick, messy font "Kayla Rayltyn. My sister is Kayla Rayltyn, AKA Violetta. Captain Patricia of the Town Watch killed her in cold blood in the back alley of Bilbert's theatre. She must die. My name is Karie Rayltyn/Alderflask. And I have a vendetta to keep." Karie took a deep breath, folded the paper, sealed the envelope and put her name on it. She went back to the front lines. She pointed Sexy at Octavyn. "I don't think you lot have a solid strategy here. Might I ask what happens when the Watch finds out what happens here? If we fall here the only explanation is that you lot jumped us at the inn. They'll come looking for Regulus and the guy behind you, since the Watch knows what we're doing. The way I see it, you've screwed yourselves over."

I know Guts's trying to form his own little army, but what's S.O.W?
-
You guys do realize that Karie's going to be furious when she gets back to the hall and finds out that you guys jacked her table, right?
-
Karie remedies Em, then attacks Octavyn from the backrow. "You're not going down on my watch!"
-
As long as it's not my table!
-
Karie uses her Smelling Salts, then attacks Octavyn from the back row. "Wow, this is weird. I got the jitters and everything. I must be the most drugged up hero here. Is that bad, or good? I could really go for some Chuckola Cola right now. Octavyn's a bit of a jerk, isn't he? I say "Karie", you say "Alderflask"! Karie!" The smelling salts were obviously making her a little too fast.
-
Karie clenched her teeth as Sexy was jammed into her arm, followed by Octavyn's weapon. She stumbled back to the party. "Arthur, I'm... not great. Better than being dead, though." Karie was in a lot of pain, but she still tried to give a reassuring smile. She looked over at Arnulf. "Heal me up, buddy! I'm not going down today!" Karie attacks Octavyn from the back row.
-
"Thanks, Arthur. This suckers tougher than he looks!" Karie attack Octavyn from the backrow.
-
Wow. I didn't realize how many female elves we have.
-
And here I thought the only thing the male rogues wanted was a female rogue.
-
I intend to use the duo eventually. Not sure where though.
-
Karie doesn't know how to react to Octavyn's comment, since there was no real way of telling if he was being honest or very sarcastic. Perhaps that bottle of wine had something to do with this. She wondered if the Stealer actually drank it or not. "I've heard enough. Shall we tango, or not?" Karie attacks Octavyn from the back row.
-
One of which is pushing cheeky rogues off of boats.

Oh god, it's Bioshock Infinite all over again! I'm waiting for the Heroica universe's Lutece twins to pop up any second now...

"Tis a shame it lead you here. To be honest, your employer's work ethic and demeanor would be well suited for a man of change. Pity he chose to do so like this." Karie did feel sympathy for Masson. His intentions were true. Karie too wanted to see a world without the poor or inequality, but not the way the Stealer saw it. "What else does Masson know about me?"
