Besides being annoying. (This is a common sign of witchcraft!) I'm not sure. I think it's just a matter of time until it's nighttime. Either way, Charles is way up there on the suspect list and the majority have already voted for him. It's pretty much over for him. Bye Charles, hope that you're a witch or else we'd have killed an innocent person. If I meet you in heaven I'll give you free bread! This is dark business. As opposed to light business (i.e. mixing dough).

ISC's plan I like the best. It's nice and in between Sandy's and Thrash's. I agree with Sandy, LEGO's fairly light and a four floor castle is nothing a few technic pins can't fix. Castle ON! Pickerel

I think when you voted for Sergio you were trying trying to start a bandwagon! It didn't work out so well seeing as only one person's voted for him. Also, the inquisitor's job is to accuse people of witchcraft! We shall see soon what the truth was and if Charles is a witch!

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread

Mustafa Dragonator, your idea sounds great. Perhaps we should all vote to see who wants to do what. And what's where. I've got around 6000 bricks, but build in lots of themes besides castle. Also who would be on who's team. And who's actually going to build things on that big list in the first post? PS: I Scream Clone, I am allowed to build in this right? You never actually gave me permission. Begs! -
Anyone who's a roller coaster physics genius just needs to be a witch! It makes perfect sense!
-
I VOTE: Charles/Hinckley too. I'm sorry I just don't trust you! You're very quick to blame other people, and think you're up to no good to! OOC Sorry I Scream Clone, with your fancy hairdo and necklace I mistook you for a noble!
-
Your welcome Tim Bit. It's looking a lot better! Those plants look great and your pictures are clear and right-side-up. Nice job!

Grr.... Pies not made by me... take away business... me not make more money, me angry :skull: OOC: Not angry enough to turn to witchcraft, to keep things clear! That is a great point! Who are the nobles among Sabrina, John, or Cassandra? Sabrina is the only one. Perhaps she is the parchment-buyer? As far as I know, she's the only one who would know how to right. Do you three have something to explain or are you witches ? We're getting somewhere! (Maybe)

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread

Bah! Prisons/ dungeons what's the difference! I've always thought Neuschwanstein was a "real" castle. Oh well, it's nice as a palace too. I think the walled city sounds pretty neat! It really would be "Community Medieval Town Build," but that's not that big of a deal. We would need to have lots of civilian houses, but since multiple people would enter there would be quite a few. The overall point of this, in my opinion, is to have a friendly competition between a few members for various places in a castle. Then somehow, by photo compilation or member with a lot of bricks to build all the winning entries using provided instructions. About the taking apart thing, I think you should be required to make photo instructions before taking a creation apart if it's a winning entry. I like the apothecary idea. Does anyone like the idea of a harbor or a gatehouse being in the categories? Pickerel -
TUTORIAL: Making mosaics with the help of Photoshop (pic heavy)
Pickerel replied to Nyundi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Probably, although I'm not sure (I've got both GIMP and Photoshop Elements, so I'm not sure if I can even do it...) GIMP and Photoshop (Elements) are quite similar, so it's possible. Great and interesting tutorial, I'll have to try this out sometime (if possible)! Pickerel -

I've got some ideas on rooms, but not enough to fill 34 rooms. Maybe we should scale it down. Perhaps the Castle Community Build Commander's words on the layout? Here are my ideas: Garden Barracks Wizard's Astronomy Tower Dungeon Solar Kitchen Blacksmith Stable Armory (for storing weapons) Grand Hall Fletcher Chapel Gatehouses Dovecote King's Room Guest Room Servant's Quarters Carpentry We might want to shrink this down a bit... -
A very good point! I only remember customers when I run out of booze. Charles, you were very quick to accuse people of being a witch. You've already voted! Perhaps you are trying to turn people against each other in an effort to hide a dark secret? @Mustafa, dressing weird isn't a crime, but having a better name than I do is! When I moved here quite some time ago all people called me was "Martinus, the Idiot Baker of Main Street"! What the deuce? That's my job!

I like your castle! It reminds me of Castle Neuschwanstein! I think this would be hard to incorporate the whole 16x16 base thing though, with the irregular towers and arches. I like your idea Thrash, but I think it should be multiple floors and be a bit more irregular. Perhaps somewhere in between Thrash and Sandy's castle plans? EDIT: I like Thrash's new plan a lot better, but still think it needs irregular towers and perhaps the central area needs to be two stories. -
I hate fish. (My name may be a type of fish, but it's referring to the frog, pickerel frog.) Happy b-day guys! Hope you get LEGO! And cake! Unless you don't like cake, aren't allowed to eat it by your doctor, or have have a medical condition which prevents you from eating it. Hopefully none of these things refer to you! Pickerel

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread

Hi! I may be interested in your castle build, if it's still open. Are the walls going to be kept 1 thick, I know you said it was rough and basic but I want to see what you're thinking. I think it should be like this: 10 high, 8 wide one floor underneath. Perhaps it could be open on on side with arches, like a cloister? Thanks, Pickerel EDIT: Just wanted to mention a few things. I think it would be interesting if we added an astronomy tower; maybe with a wizard or garden, with lots of fungi and mysterious plants... Is this castle layout going to be multiple floors, or single floored? Are all the outdoor things going to be outside or inside the castle walls. Maybe I should see if you let me in before asking my many questions that have most likely been answered in this thread... somewhere... (looks at self in mirror admonishingly for being overenthusiastic) -
Sure, sorry to deprive a waiting customor of a flavour like none other! (Imaginary bread is passed in exchange for imaginary money in imagininary store.) Bread reminds some people of carrots. OOC: You never can be to sure when there's witches around (Passes more imaginary bread.) Sorry for my ignorance but who is this dreadful husband who forces her wife into doing farmwork and taxes?

We've got pies... suspicious meat pies... and a barber upstairs... who has a creepy look in his eyes... he also likes singing... a lot... Audience:oh3: Martinus: Just kidding Audience: Me:I said I was kidding okay? Audience: Me: Nevermind ^The above is a joke! Anyway... is there nothing wrong with wrong with a baker trying to make a few more bucks with catchy advertising and small print, I mean it's not exactly witchcraft. And when did I say the price was your soul? OOC: That was a joke right?

Toughie. I'd have to go with Frankenstein's Monster (Frankenstein was the surname of the doctor who made the monster, which doesn't have a name) , since I've got an obsession of the Victorian Era, I really like horror stories from the time. Interesting Holoween discussion.

This is the right thread for me! (I'm a natural critic) My worst huh? Well, I'd fill your tower in to match the window's side, it might even look good with a little overhang. I see a body and a crocodile in the basement, perhaps more pics? Try holding your camera straighter, holding the button down halfway down before pressing it, and using the flower symbol thing (I think that's what it is), this helps the camera focus up close. The seaweed might be able to be combined with the vine for a nice effect. Like Zorro said, rotate the pictures! People don't like MOCs that give them neck cramps! Now for the nicer part : Good usage of window. Nice lamp. May I have permission to use this in my MOCs- I'd give you credit? Death Eaters make great serial killers. :skull: I like how well you added the stairpiece- it's challenging for a vignette! Hope that helps!

We should not choose to vote someone off because they are annoying, but if they are so annoying that we can't THINK STRAIGHT (tries to control angry glance over shoulder), it might be helpful to vote them off working from the bottom up. HINT HINT P.S.Where the heck is the post where Hinckley cast his vote? I've searched this thread this thread twice!

What? Oh right, yeah what he said... you don't need to pay for centuries. Ha,you forgot to read the tiny print that appeared on the bottom of the screen for half a second. Do you get angry when annoying people scam you into a supposed " deal"? If so shop a Main Street bakery, where it's highly unlikely this would happen!

I'd definantly agree with that statement. Since they're both chess sets they both have the same number of people, but the Giant Castle Chess Set has trolls and dwarves, but not many skeletons or knights. The smaller one has quite a large amount of knights and skeletons but not one dwarf or troll. If your son likes just playing with the figures, then I'd recommend a small set like the 7040 Dwarve's Mine Defender and the small chess set. If your son likes building buildings and building the set, then I think that the Big Chess Set would be better for him. Hope this might help.

I know what you two want... Come down to Main Street Bakery where I offer a whole plethora of tasty pies, breads, and even pastries! Don't worry about prices, our tasty pasties are the cheapest in Azufre, and best of all, you don't need to pay until 2010! I repeat you don't need to pay until 2010! So (catchy theme song plays) We've got the best food in the world, so come on down to Azulfre! De-de do da da de do de da dada de do do do de do dodo do ! ( advertisement ends) I must remind that everyone should not put their trust with anyone. Among us there is a witch and we have no clue how much (heathen) psychology theyv'e studied or good at acting they are! Stay safe, sensible, healthy, and have trust in the lord! (Kneels down and prays for the witches head's to blow up and good business) , Martinus

Are you saying that that you suspect the inquisitor of witchcraft and you support him. Witch! If not then I is confused and/or you are confused! OOC: You might want to clarify who you agree with (as much as we wish it we can't be on everyone's good side ) About hanging everyone at random: Mob Lynchings
