To help all you politics-discussants, perhaps, with an admin's approval, you'd be able to form a group on a social-networking website with other members from here to chat about politics? This, however, could lead to some serious on Eurobricks causing some problems on here that would be out of EB's ability to fix. From my experience, once given the chance, some people will be hurtful and careless no matter what. Forming a group like this would give people the chance. Sorry, no other ideas for you other than the above. ~Pickerel

People might be willing to buy more of your things if they can see what you have to offer! Perhaps some pictures? Good luck on selling decals, ~Pickerel
-
They did! I'll probably join in around a couple weeks! ~Pickerel P.S. Thanks for your quick reply!

Thanks! Actuallly, I do have a few questions! I'm confused on the whole "no animals to be your character" rule. Can you be, for example, an orc? Also, do we get to choose where we start on the map? To move our story along, can we make locations and non-playable characters? Thanks again, ~Pickerel

Thanks for the explanation, Guss! I like the site very much! We won't need to search through a bazillion pages to find somebody's MOC! ~Pickerel -

Watch plastic figures wipe out mysterious civilizations... without breaking the law! Yay! Look at those pointy wheels and huge flick-fire missles to kick Rock-Mutant @$$! Wow! No rain checks. -
Your devious, hypnotic tactics have worked, I'm interested! ~Pickerel P.S. Although it sounds fun, perhaps I should read the rules first?

LOL! Is this from Monty Mython? ~Pickerel

They will? Won't it look a little odd have one extremely-detailed, tiled wall, one exactly like the one ISC made, and another with stained-glass windows and arrow slits? ~Pickerel EDIT (Didn't want to double-post): Guss, your wall looks good! I think the tiles are a little too centered, though. -

I must admit, I'm very jealous you've got a friend and a parent that like LEGO! I'm the only person I know IRL that likes LEGO! All of the buildings are looking great! ~Pickerel -
Power Miners: New Sets for 2009

I hope not! That dynamite looks like it's made from bendy plastic, so I'd doubt it would break. Perhaps your dream means the sets will be unsturdy and break into thirds every five seconds? Superstitious Pickerel, -
Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Pickerel replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I'd have to agree with you! If you look past the blinding glare of green, the screwed up virtues of MM and, more recently, this, and all the other things wrong with it, I see something for everybody in Power Miners. For military MOCers there's dynamite, lots of tank treads, new torsos, and weird giant wheels. For Batman fans there's a great Clayface custom just waiting to happen! Construction fans can get a great variety of orange pieces. Exo-force fans: meet your favorite theme's replacement. Reviewers get something to review (and hopefully not complain) about! Everyone else, well just like your new pieces! Overall, sure, the designer was colorblind, sure LEGO's gonna lose a few bucks, man I'd give a lot to trade lime green for purple, but we still have all of the things I just said but am too lazy to type again! I really think those are transperent shorty legs on the blob in the second pic! Yoda ghost?!?!?! Fingers crossed for transperent minifig parts, Pickerel -
But... but no sacramental wafer smores!

Yes! (Does secret handshake with nearby villager), another point for team witch-exterminators! Mmmm... sacramental wafers! Sounds great, I'll bring some garlic bread and a pie!

Sure! Just say that you want to join the build and ISC will tell you that you're in Group A or B. Then you can just start building. Stol and Thrash, your designs look great! Your right, Thrash, this is going to be one awesome castle! Some things came up outside the world of plastic, so I'll be a little late on my designs. Pickerel -
Favorite Agent: Trace! She's the first to have that great new hairpiece! (This can be used in other themes!) Favorite Agent Vehicle: The TurboCar is simply unbeatable! 2nd Place would have to go to The Submarine. Favorite Evil(ish) Person: Dr. Inferno! Besides an awesome hairpiece he's got that arm which can be used for anything from Arnold Schwarzenegger to a Star Wars service droid! Favorite Evil(ish) Vehicle That boat from Submarine (Rescue?), I guess. Evil (ish people don't really have that many outstanding vehicles. Do You I Like Agents? Of course I do. Who doesn't? even if you thought the sets were it would still offer new (dark-blue ) pieces. My vote went to "Fabuland is better", next would've been "We want Agents Pie Theme!!!!"! Agents+Pie= Dang it! You guys made me hungry! Pickerel

Sorry, I assumed that your uncle started working on military engineering when he moved to America! Dang! Almost beat mine, around 200 AD. Although it's neat knowing who your relatives are from such a long time ago, I mainly enjoy stories. Your lucky to actually know these people. Pickerel

Is there any point to this? Why didn't you just wait a little bit then post. You don't need call reserves on commenting! Please think before posting unless in a life-threatening situation! Anywho, nice MOC ISC, very funny (and gruesome) too! Pros: ~I love your bridge design! Do you mind if I take it? ~You've really gotten those rocks down, haven't you! ~Great idea! The cannibal gets cannibalized! ~You've got a pretty clever Snot cave. I think it needs to be tiled in the open-stud areas, though. ~Nice useage of the wagon wheel for the fire! ~Kudos for having little details like the dead soldier and the drunken pirate ~It's cruel, and that's what matters most, RIGHT? :pir-skull: (Speaking of cruelty, happy belated Halloween! I forgot to say those words yesterday and just needed to say 'em!) Cons: ~Any reason how come you didn't use one of the palm tree bases? The cylinders look strange. ~What are those brown plates supposed to be next to the soldier carrying the box in the cave supposed to be? ~Kahuka needs salt. A meal with such high expectations is ruined by the lack of salt. Is that water saltwater? ~The cave and ground could really look great with some tiling! I don't think the bumpiness goes with the detailed (and pretty) rocks! ~That frog is in a dangerous position. I hope it's not going to commit suicide! ~I can't come up with any worthwhile criticisms. Toughen up, Pickerel! Overall a great MOC! Hope you get prizes! Pickerel

Wow! Got quite a few interesting relatives there! The flying wing was made much before 1953, though, so your uncle probably didn't work on the original flying wing. I'm very interested in genealogy, but unfortunately all of my relatives seem to live the average, boring life. I have however, traced my ancestry a little over 200 years back to wealthy British women who I found her ancestors. These went WAY back. Then some of the names started sounding important, and eventually I found out that I'm related to Charlemagne! I recently traveled to his palace in Aachen, Germany. It was great seeing such a beautifully made building built by one of MY ancestors! Pickerel P.S. For those of you who don't know, Charlemagne was the King of the Franks and owned a large sum of Europe. He was one of the Nine Worthies!

Thanks! The (English) article is great! Very descriptive! The only downside is the battery. It looks odd hanging from the back of the figure. Luckily I'd probably use this on pumpkins, so I could hide the batteries under the porch! Perhaps there is a watch battery tiny enough to fit in a mini figure's torso? That would be really neat! Pickerel
-
That looks great! Very detailed! I can't really come up with anything to criticize except for the lack of color. Does it fit on the official train-tracks? Way better than I could have done! ~Pickerel

I don't think so: ~Pickerel

I cook better! Don't worry, Cassandra, I'm also suspicious of Hernan, just more so of you. I also don't think you should be begging (yet), you've only got three votes! I had 9 for a while yesterday! And how is it not your fault you wear way too much lipstick? Martinus
-
Witch! Is he trying to cover something up? Congrats, your one of the people at the top of The Great Pickerelian Martinusian of People-Who-I-Think-Are-Suspicious! Fish tacos= Looking at it that way, burning you at the stake would do this town a service- as long as the food's burnt with it! I'm not fooled by your self-accusation! It's reverse psychology I say! Sorry, but you keep on changing your votes wildly, use reverse psychology, are annoying, cook bad, and may have bought a scimitar (I don't care if Sergio does have the scimitar, he's got weapons already). Vote: Cassandra/Bob the Construction Man Scimitars= Martinus=

Put mine up! All of yours look great! Pickerel
