  1. Fantastic figs Narbilu! They look great!
  2. Fantastic work here, adding the bag in the back added a lot. Using 4 horses instead of 2 also makes this build look a lot better. I love how you kept the original shape and design of LEGO's set, but still made it unique. Well done!
  3. Well done, lovely waterfall and tower!
  4. Cool build! The Mitgardian landscape is well done! The small splashes of Dark green and olive green light up this moc!
  5. Cool story, and awesome castle!
  6. Ok, thanks! Mine should be up soon.
  7. Is there a time limit for the first task? Do we have to post our forces by a certain date?
  8. Wow very cool, thanks for the pictures! I think I like the new ones better, just for the masonry bricks.
  9. Ouch, that would be a pain to rebuild....
  10. Lovely story and build, one again Mr. Watkins! The color scheme is wonderful, it gives a dreary sense to this moc. The story is well written, as always, except this time it sad. Poor Gawaine. I can't wait for the next moc!
  11. Welcome Ragnar to GoH, and Avalonia! Glad you chose the right guild! :D
  12. Sweet! I better start making my troops!
  13. Is there a limit to the amount of free builds we can do a month? Do we get points for free builds?
  14. This is so amazing! I am dumbfounded! I blogged it on BBA! http://bba-brick.blogspot.com/2013/09/the-tower.html
  15. Thanks rogueang! I know that I have made the correct choice! :D It would be fantastic if you could join Kyle, Avalonia would be honored to have you! And welcome Robinson! As the others have said, the colors are Dark Green and Sand Green. If you don't have sand green flags (or dark green flags) just use one of them.
  16. This is awesome! I'd so buy these, for the pieces, and just how cool they are! Supported! :D
  17. Thanks! Glad you like it! Thank you!
  18. Mine has the be The Battle for Helms Deep, because it comes with amazing pieces for castle! It is perfect! A close second has to be the mines of moria, with a nice amount of figs and fantastic pieces.
  19. I don't really know. I like the old trolls, there heads make great custom orcs, and the color scheme was great! they also had some nice weapons and armor. But the new orcs, goblins, uruk-hai are well done, and come with lots of lovely weapons and armor. It is a tie for me.
  20. Amazing Disco86, just amazing! So much stellar detail! Well done!
  21. My entry into the Classic-Castle LCC Global Contest 5. Part 1 Silently cursing, Andar thought about the coronation once again as he paced his bleak dungeon. Just as he suspected, the Queen turned out to be an evil woman, bent on destroying Roawia. And now he was stuck here, on her island fortress, deep underground in prison. At least, Andar thought, Kole and my captains made a plan in case I was captured. Time to start phase 1. Andar stopped his pacing and silently slipped over to the corner of his cell. The guards, after disarming him, forgot one weapon. His cloak. Thinking that it was just a regular dark cloak, they let him keep it. They’ll soon regret that. Andar thought. Unknown to the soldiers, his cloak was specially made to blend in with his surroundings, so that it appears as if he disappeared. Wrapping his cloak around himself, and slipping the hood over his head, Andar waited. They’ll soon be bringing me dinner, and then will get the surprise of their life. He did not have to wait long. Noisily, the 2 guards bustled in, grumbling about nothing happening these days. But when they looked inside the cell, there was no one there! As they gaped in astonishment, Andar struck. Striking one guard in the head, knocking him down, he grabbed the fallen sword, and plunged it into the downed guards chest. Then turning around, he faced the other guard. Surprised at the recent turn of events, the guard’s shock quickly turned into anger. Snarling, he lunged at Andar, his pike swinging in for the killing blow. Andar ducked underneath, and stabbed the guard at the same time. The guard’s anger quickly turned into bewilderment, as his life left his body. Andar quickly grabbed the keys and left the dungeon, not wanting to be late to meet Kole at the rendezvous. Part 2 Quietly, Kole and the lenfald captain rowed to the island fortress. After the captain let Kole off at one of the towers, he rowed off to do his part of the plan. As Kole turned to the tower, he rubbed his hands in anticipation. This would be the fun part. Gripping the cold stone, Kole quickly began to swarm up the tower like a giant spider. Soon reaching the top, he swung over and killed the guard up top. Looking down, he could see the tiny guards making their rounds. Swiftly, Kole began his downward descend. Nearing 15 feet from the bottom, he heard the clanking of the sentries’ boots striking the hard wooden floor. Cursing, Kole peeked downward, and saw that they were about to pass underneath him. Letting go of the wall, he dropped the last 15 feet, descending like a wraith, and landing on the guards, knocking them out cold. Kole quickly ran towards the west wall, where he and Andar arranged to meet. Part 3 Out of breath, Kole arrived at the west wall. Looking up he saw Andar leaning against the wall, twirling his sword. Andar looked down, one eyebrow raised, “Took you long enough to get here.” Kole just grinned, and joined him. “The captain should be arriving soon, then we can escape.” Suddenly, a hook was thrown over the wall, right in between them, and then fastened on the wall. Startled, both Andar and Kole jumped back on shock, and then glared down outside, barely making out the shape of the captain and the small boat in the night. “You could have hit one of us, what were you thinking, why didn’t you let us know that you were throwing it?” Kole exploded. “Nah, that would just mess up my aim.” Sighing, Kole began to climb down the rope, Andar following. When they reached the bottom, they climbed into the boat, and sailed away to freedom. So this is a short, extremely quick story, for a last minute entry into the GCV. :/ I had a lot of fun playing with techniques, trying out many new ones. All three scenes were built on one baseplate: Enjoy! Soli Deo Gloria! Matthew Oh
