Walmart one of the biggest ones in California had them for $40, i think they only have 1 left and all the $60 Mines of Moria are gone.

they been heading to clearance for $40 USD, you can even find Mines of Moria for $60 USD

hopefully 6 new Hobbit sets later this year: 4 from "The Desolation of Smaug" and 2 from "There and Back Again"

just want to add how Helm's Deep is very popular in the USA or in the stores in California going as low as $100 USD to $160 USD the only sets from the 1st wave of LOTR that are not doing so great are "Attack on Weathertop" and "Mines of Moria" and this year (2013) Shelob Attack is falling. still "The Hobbit" sets are doing well and cant find none of them on clearance which is a good sign and this years wave of LOTR and The Hobbit will be popular!

who else is planning on buying 2 sets of "79007 Battle at the Black Gate" to make a small Mordor MOC? also i think "The Orc Forge" set will look good in the mix

other than the 4 known sets for 2013, i think there will be another set only sold by LEGO.com and Toys"R"Us and maybe more polybags

the LEGO LOTR and Hobbit sets seem to be selling very well around here (except for "Attack on Weathertop" and "The Mines of Moria") i hope sets are continued being made for the next 10 years
