  1. 75244 Tantive IV. And I only botched one sticker on my 200 Euro set. Yay!
  2. It looks really bad. Not at all how the helmets look "in real life".
  3. New Vader looks kinda like a cranky sleeping baby with black diapers and grey socks. Palpatine better rub his tummy!
  4. I was just informed that the order including my bricktober-set has been cancelled by toys r us. I ordered day one. "Luckily" the set is readily available on ebay for 36€ and up. LEGO, you're killing me.
  5. Looks more like a helmet- and capeless Vader.
  6. At this point, are we even sure Rey piloted the Falcon? From all we've seen she might have force-grapped the ship and swooshed it around.
  7. Thanks for the review, great job as usual.
  8. Everyone ist far beyond the masters. Thats exactly my point. Where do these powers come from?
  9. I have a bad feeling about this. His portrayal of The Force was rather good, but the force powers made me cringe. Everyone is a force god now seemingly.
  10. Yodas hut and the TIE-Fighter... I don't think i will be able to resist buying on day one...
  11. I just watched it with my wife, and to me, a lifelong star wars fan, it came across as mediocre fanfic written by someone who doesnt really care for star wars. My wife, who only watched TFA but barely remembered any details, liked it much better than "the other stuff i made her watch" (MCU mainly). Well, i'm watching ESB on netflix right now, to purge this recent trauma from my memory...
  12. I just build all the new sets, the builds are all very fun. The Minifig selection is superb, the quality... not so much. The printing ist either absent (legs...) or really bad on darker backgrounds. Flash's and Wonder Woman's Skintone are really pinkish, while Lobo, who has a white face and arms somehow has a grayish chest. The play value is great, Lobo's Bike and Cyborg's Heli are very swooshable and Luthor's mech is just straight up cool. Alltogether a worthy addition to the forces of the Justice League and the Secret Society of Supervillains. 9/10, more please.
  13. Man, these keep getting worse... And i take it the blue Pauldrons are final? I already miss the Summer 2016-wave
  14. That mech looks like it's gonna jump right into my Top 10 all time LEGO sets .
  15. "And/Or what?" The delivery in your panels is excellent.
  16. Let's hope they did it because the think it's a visual match (i don't see it) and not stud shooters breaking into full size star wars sets...
  17. So it's really the usual suspects in the Bounty Hunter Pack plus presumably 4-LOM OR Zuckuss... that's a bit disappointing, as the are usually depicted as a team. Also the symbol for "new minifig" being a burning background gets a whole new meaning in the vader transformation set Look at it this way: you now have an actual gun you can use for battle-pack-dengar
  18. Is that an relatively rare Old Republic Sith Trooper used as a Stand in for super common Darth Vader?
  19. Thank you for another great review Whitefang! All the Rogue One Sets have been great, i hope there will be a third wave.
  20. Thanks for the review, i was just thinking about which set to build next, well, TIE-Striker it is :-)
  21. Thanks for the great review! I still prefer the Behemoths of old like the Firestation because you never see the interior of the new breed after you've put it on the shelf, the builds sure are smart.
  22. Wow, this is borderline ridiculous. It would have been slightly redeemable with a brick-built big gun, but not even that...
  23. Thanks for the review! Looks like Arkham Asylum will keep its place as the center of my DC-Comics display. Aside from Batman, Robin and the vehicles, this looks utterly skipable.
  24. We're leaving "obscure" Character territory and are entering "irrelevant". Meh.
