the part that connect the lower and upper parts of the body here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5988299 could it be it's the new "bone piece" that discussed at technic forum?

[WIP] Yellow Supercar
bacem replied to VKTechnic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
where did those transparent red beams come from? they're awesome! and the car is awesome too. can't wait to see the finished model. -
if it's a body armor, it has one on his back. but if your talking about front chest armor, i don't think it's possible. i mean, it use XT4 torso. even the smallest 3M cladding would already covered most of its connection points.
-
i don't intend to remove it. i'll just put it on the back of bigger beast when they're seperated. that way, the splitting/combining function won't be gone, and the looks will still better, at least from the front.
-
thanks shakar! now that i saw it, i can say that splitter beast is interesting indeed. the only thing i don't like is that medium gray technic piece sticking out from tho front of smaller beast's body. that can be very easily fixed tough. and, hey, another XT4 torso. that piece always welcomed.
-
the picture don't wan't to come out? i'm curious too. can somebody save it on brickshelf? because it looks like the picture has been erased. or is it just me?

when you see a lego set displayed at a toy store, and immediately realize if there's some part of the set that builded wrong, and you were all like, "instructions, moron?! do you read it?!" lego, not legos or lego's

2014 HF did a good job of pulling system fans in, but on the other hand, there's also some HF fan who dissapponted on this line and end up pulling out. when i posted the pictures of 2014 HF on a local forum, there are some system fans that goes like, " oh wow, those minifigs are glorious" or, "this line remond me of exo-force, and i like it". but, there are also HF fans that goes like, " ok, i'm done. this is not what i expected when i goes into HF".
-
dang aanch, you beat me to it. oh well, i'll still put the pictures anyway. the remaining pictures of 2014 HF 44016 Jaw Beast VS Stormer 44015 Evo Walker soo, comments. first, jaw beast. the head is he same mold with the other "kaiju" in this line. no surprise here. still neat head tough. what actually surprises me is the fact that they actually use only #M shell for the front torso armor. and, hey, transparent bones! yay! for evo walker, it's interesting that we got a completely custom build. the last time i remember getting completely custom build is with thornraxx. and i actually like the idea. this way, the turret can actually move.
-
that is cool! thornraxx was my favourite scout sized set, along with XT4, and you make him a lot cooler and menacing.
-
this is pretty cool. and about the back attachment, wouldn't it be easier if we use this instead?

What's your favorite Hero Factory XL set ?
bacem replied to Legofan225's topic in LEGO Action Figures
does XL sized villain set counts? becuase if yes, my answer is scorpio, becuse of his unique build among XL sets. for heroes, rocka, i guess. -
the last picture on brickshelf show it.
-
nice! so we can also work the legs to be fire lord/rocka XL style too.
-
everybody said that these hero factory vibe give a huge vibe of pacific rim. sure, the monster looked like kaiju, i guess. but the mech, rather than jaeger, they actually reminded me to exo-force mech more.
-
welcome to eurobricks! enjoy your stay here.
-
which means there are two different ways to attach the minifig. interesting. using the method mentioned by Lockon, we'll most likely be able to put regular minifigs in there too. if this is the case, then we probably can remake exo-force mechs using ball-joint system.
-
according to the set description that i saw on walmart site (too bad they took it down already), the left arm is supposed to be a grapping claw. it might be able to be opened and grab something. and the wings, it is intended to be skeletal. they stated it clearly on his description.
-
we already have pictures of the monsters without the minifig i think. at least splitter beast.
-
just looking at walmart's site and found out that all 2014 HF pictures are removed. so it seems we can't expect to find evo walker and jaw beast pictures on there.
-
just noticed that the picture of furno jet machine and stormer freeze machine on first page are swapped.
