Thank you. Yes, the 46335 tire wrap around nicely into the frame and make it possible to rotate & very stable when drive around. Please visit my facebook page to view the video. The position of the mounting point of the frame also take part in order to make the tire rotate, I mount 4 pieces 1L liftarm as bearing at mounting frame to help the tire rotate smoothly. I have try to change the mounting point to lower level (as the front wheel of the TMC), and it didn't work since it produced a lot of fraction.

The review of part # 77107 in NewElementary reminds me of my static model of TMC Dumont. So I challenge myself to build a working one with PoweredUp motor & hub. The model is driven with a PU XL Motor & a PU M motor for the steering. I try to adopt the driving mechanism from the TMC Dumont for this model & it works smoothly, Video can be viewed at here : https://web.facebook.com/LegoKu888/videos/video-electric-hubless-bike/1224850411374345 The steering video at here : https://web.facebook.com/LegoKu888/videos/1283795705467470/ The driving basic concept at here : https://web.facebook.com/LegoKu888/videos/872650606949142/ What do you think ?

Thank you for your warning. I was having trouble with my uploading picture process which I didn't expected happened before I create this topic. Since there are so many same comment judging I was breaking the rule directly without any confirmation, I think it was not a pleasant way to remind me for what I am doing. I am not a kid who need such this kind of treatment, I fully understand what I am doing in EB. I am 63 years old as you can see in my profile, all my data is real one (including my name) I feel pity for those kind of people with their status of DUKE or COUNT or whatever which didn't have good manner to post their comment same as some idiots do. (smart builder never talk with bad manner, they just try to explain how they make their ideas into reality & give positive feedback) So if you think I really breaking the rule, I welcome your decision. (You may delete this post for what you think is correct) But if you think my post is valid, please remind them to not repeating the treatment (negative feedback) they have done to me & please help me to remove their comment in this post. Thank you for your attention. The model will have a simple transformation from a Z shape into a square shape driving mechanism. I really appreciate your solution for what is happening to my post, but I was surprised that I was attacked by many negative comment without trying to find out first what is happening. -

This is the drive module for the model, it has 2 L PU motor to drive each side. This is the module that will transform the model, it was driven by a XL PU motor. The output is directed into both sides to do the transformation. -
This model is based on my idea after thinking of a simple transformable vehicle, it should be able to transform even while moving since the mechanism is independent. I plan to use 3 motors with technic C+ hub. 2 motors will be use to do the driving & the rest for transformation. I also plan to build as compact as possible due to my parts availability. The remote will be created using the PU apps. Feature : 2 buttons for driving (moving & steering) 1 button for transformation (forward & backward) RPM meter for all motors This is the driving module, it consist of 2 identical track driving mechanism powered by a L motor. The transformation module is mounted at the center level and powered by a L motor. This is the Z shape after transformation I planned to mount the hub between the L motors. After finishing the build, I found out that the transformation module can not 'hold' the position as I expected. The Hub & the L motor created a heavy load that the module can stand. So I changed the gearing system using a pair of worm gears at the final output. I also modified the driving module by moving the L motor position into the lower part. To make sure the model can work as I want it, I create the remote control using PU apps on my android phone. During the test run, I found out that there is still an empty port which can be use to connect the PU LED. The LED was connect using a pair of part part #x400c20 as the light bar on top of the model. This model works smoothly & can transform while driving, it also can drive using the front side when it bumped into some obstacle. More picture & video will be taken later.

What I am talking about is my experience when I join a TLG contest, no relation with this contest. Please read my sentence carefully, read it with your eyes & a clear mind. (It looks like you only have a bad opinion of what I am talking about since I am only a Vassals) :D It was pity that a COUNT like you underestimate a VASSALs like me, I think your Technic world is only in this forum.(please visit other social media to find out)

So this contest end up with friend's vote. The more friends you got, the more vote will be given. I have been experienced with many contest with the same condition, so I'm not surprised with the result. Most of my winning model were picked by the jury that commit to the contest's rule (not by friendship), but later I found out that TLG also got another reason not to pick entry from my country due to the shipping cost.(so they take my entry as a free idea) I didn't vote for any entry due to my opinion that it is not fair to compare a small one with a big one.(some also still using the old parts, example: the metal hook) Thank you for all of you that pay attention to my progress page & voted for my entry, it was a great time to share my building skill to achieved better look for an existing set. (even it costs more than the 1st prize set for the parts to finalized the model) I would like to thanks @Jim and @Milan for having this contest.

Final Model So after 1 month building this model, I finally can finished it with all of my capabilities. This is a very interesting build since it involved a lot of odd & even connection. The yellow parts also a very challenging to get since some of it are only available in limited quantity in the new sets (42114 & 42121) & old set. I can not change the wheel since it will end up with wrong scale ratio. This is my first build which involving another additional process : panel wrapping. (applying a car wrap sticker to the lego panel) The wrapping process is different with applying a lego set sticker, it has to be shaped (cut) after it stick to the panel. I punched a small circle (8mm diameter) to fit the mounting point at the surface & shave the edges after wrapping it. Model Comparison Front View Side view Rear view -
34. Indy Storm (8445) Original set : 8445 Description : a studless version replica Note : Panel #17 & #18 are not available in yellow, so I apply sticker to a white one using ORACAL 651 Matt No.22 (car wrap sticker) I also do this to the panel #13 & #14 (only 1 each) since I can not get my order parts arrived before deadline. Finally my yellow parts arrived, but the small panel #13 & #14 can not be expected arrived before the deadline. So I try to solve this by using sticker (ORACAL 651 No.22) applied to the white one, the result was very good as seen in the following picture. I am going to improved the cutting & also applied this to the panel#17 & #18 which are not available in yellow.(for the side wing) -

Yes, the picture a bit too pale. It looks good but it ruined the overall proportion scale. I'm agree with you, this can not be avoided since the attachment point not so easy to apply for a small scale build. -

Thank you. I hope the small panel will arrive today or next monday before deadline. The new wheel raised the model half stud since it was 1 studs bigger in diameter. Thank you for your suggestion. The RENAULT colour scheme is my tandem build, it shows all the shape of the model in colour. The yellow one got some in black & transparent (to make it more contrast). New wheels is a studs bigger in diameter comparing to the old one, it changed the ratio of the scale. -

Final Comparison (Some yellow parts still not yet arrived, RENAULT team color were chosen as alternate color) The Original Set 8445 The replica model in yellow & same wheel The replica model in RENAULT Team color The replica model with new wheel The other view of the model Some of the yellow parts (front wing, rear bottom wing & connector#3) already arrived but not yet passed the customs verification process, maybe I will received it next week. The rest panels (Side wing & rear side wing) were not sure since the seller changed the shipping route.(maybe it will took 3 weeks more) -

Updates on the front wing: I replaced the part#10197 with part#6536. I also try to use yellow part for the bottom of the front body work.(maybe I will return it back to black to suit the original model) -

I have reworked the model in order to matched the original model, this is the best I can do with the parts on hand. The bluish part will be replaced after I received my order from Bricklink, currently the shipping process got slower since the pandemic in my country getting worse. The side view of the model As comparison to the other color I also build.(it show the side bodywork more clearly) More picture of the model. -

Replication finished, waiting for yellow panels to arrive. All of the line of the shape has been replicated. I also build the same one in white.(as tandem build for analysis) Side view of the model. The opening button can be pushed to open the engine hood. Modification : - Rear drive axle was replaced by 4L axle+3L connector+5L axle in order to prevent the axle fall off the differential gear - Opening button integrated into the rear bodywork. - Each engine block got each exhaust pipe. - The nose of front bodywork using the new part#71708 - The side bodywork (form by the soft axle) was replaced with panels. -

Yesterday I received my yellow panel for the side bodywork, so I try to put it on the model. I did a lot of work in order to match the rear bodywork & side bodywork. This is the hardest part of the conversion, but finally I can make it. The ground clearance of the side bodywork is very small, it almost touch the ground. -

This is the final front bodywork, it looks similar to the original set. (same dimension, only the curve is more rounded) The original set got a straight side, this one got a v-shape (staggered) -
