The steering can not auto return to center due to the use of the clutch gear and control by the PU remote controller, but it gives a very small turning radius of 30cm. I have tried to use the 24T gear before I replaced it with the clutch gear, it can not stand the torque from the driving motor since it has been gear down to 3:1.

This is my first attempt to build a small RC model car based on a real car. The model is powered by 2L PU motor & small PU hub. The turning radius is 30cm I try to matched the color as closed as possible with the dark azure for the parts in medium blue. The white one is the most complete parts available for the model. Please try to use the Lithium one (energizer ultimate lithium), it gives more power to the hub.

aFrInaTi0n a.k.a. amorti a.k.a [REMOVED], Looks like you are angry since I didn't give you a free copy of my building instructions, so you keep insulting my model with your bad attitude. I build my model based on my imagination, and I find it works as expected. If you have the same idea & you can build it in better way, so just do it & show it. About the price of the instructions : I sell it according to how I valued my work, people can buy it if they can afford it. (I don't mind if nobody want to buy it) I buy instructions if I found it very interest (no matter the price was), for example : I buy the 1:8 McLaren 720s by Charbel. I share my model for fun, I'm not looking for a competition of the best or not. I have a lot of idea and I build it as I have time, I dismantle my model after I have my documentation. I hope you can understand what I mean with this last reply in this thread.

Unfortunately I have dismantle the build. You can buy the building instructions to prove it. Your model only works with buwizz. I understand you still can not understand how my steering works, it works as the "hub steering" system does. I re-designed it with moving the pivot of turning from center of the wheel to the back side. Entry Name : zCube Description : a simple transformable vehicle with dual track that can transform from a cube shape into a parallelogram shape and vice versa. Transformation can be done while moving. This model use 2 PU L motor to drive each side of the track & a PU XL motor to perform the transformation. The Technic Hub got 6 LiPo rechargable AAA battery as the power source. Remote control created with the PoweredUp apps. The video was created with the 'batch' program in the PoweredUp apps.

The steering is a push-pull method, it formed a parallelogram where the steering rod parallel to the wheel's mounting rod. here's the video : Yes. but you need to add some side wheel to prevent it falling sideways. :) Thank you, This model works as a real motorcyle does, you can see it here :

I have created the remote control for the model using PoweredUp application. The model works smoothly & can perform as expected. It also can move with the vertical side positioned at the ground. I also make some 'batch' coding to run the model for video taking.

I made some changes when I create the building instructions. You can get it by PM me in my facebook page.

I changed the design of the base to improved the structure for further bodywork. The steering has already working, & the sliding of the lifting mechanism also works. The XL motor was took a lot of space, so I need to replace it with other motor.(to provide more space for the driving mechanism)

This is my second try to build the entry for the contest. If this one better then the zCube, I will submit this. I challenge myself to build a compact transformable vehicle with wheels. I build this during my holiday of my online math class, so I really enjoy it. I have not choose a name for the model since I didn't have the idea for the body yet.(maybe a small truck or hatchback car) I will update the name when I finished building it. My first attempt is choosing the rack gear, I choose the part# 18942 from set#42043. This gear provide a smooth & steady movement, it will support the force at any mounting point. This is the base frame, maybe it will be modified later to suit the next step build. The steering is simple one. The basic transformation of the frame. The wheelbase getting shorter & lift up the mounting frame for the body.

This is the driving mechanism for the rear wheel. I replaced the white rubber band with 0.5" O-ring (non-lego part) to obtained a better grip to the tire. The structure is the best I can achieve for a good scale ratio for the bike.(compact size) if you have better solutions, please share it. The black gear is connected to the same one mounted on the PU XL motor. The red 1L connector (4 pcs) is use as the bearing for the tire.

Actually I didn't want to do it, but I was being attacked for unreasonable thing and nothing can be done to stop it. I am a life survival for more than half century, so I think it's natural in human life. I also didn't want to involve in useless complicated arguing discussion, since it wasting my time. I have been a member here a long time ago, but I never post anything rapidly. I will follow the rule as it was written, so I think everyone here should also be patient to see the progress before making any further judging statement. Thank you for your help & I will continue to post my progress for the contest.

Thank you for your attention on my model. This model will have a cube shape form, it can be transform into a Z shape (or parallelogram) in both direction (slant to front or back). I was lucky this month due to the school holiday, my online math class also got holiday. This give me opportunity to built without interruption.
