Out of all the "factions" in #93 I find Rogues the most interesting. I'm glad they are making a reappearance.

"You'll get much more than that if you keep criticising my every move." Said Heckz, annoyed.

"I believe my skills of narration are top notch, like all my other skills. Nothing was told poorly. Except maybe the part where the innkeeper slipped some wine or whatever in my drink. Didn't you?" He asked the innkeeper.

"I thought I mentioned that the boy killed the ugly frog slowly. M- The brother put an arrow in the boy's head and left him for dead. I don't know where the brother is now so I don't have a chance to kill him. I mean, the boy doesn't have a chance to kill him."

Please. I bet they would all kill Rollinger without a second thought if it meant 5 more gold.

That bear should have finished the job. "Fine since all of you want a story... Once there was a knight who saved a princess. The end." Heckz saw the faces of displeasure from his companions so he rethinked the idea of not telling them anything. "Okay. There once was a beautiful boy like yours truly. He may or may not or may have been ,say, natural born, his father unknown, while his mother's husband was the head of a rich house in the High Kingdoms. This boy's mother convinced her fat ugly husband to keep the boy, but unfortunately he wanted to keep him in a dungeon. This man did not like bast- natural born sons. Especially ones that were not his. Luckily for the angel looking boy, his 'brother' always visited him secretly, giving nim food, playing games and talking about what's going on outside. The mother's husband, let's call him ugly frog, was starting to hate the b- natural born son even more when he accidentally knocked his 'sister' unconciouss with magic. You see the ugly frog despised magic. When the ugly frog started beating the boy, saying lies like "You're disgusting." or "I have never seen an uglier face in my life.", the boy's 'brother' started defending him, to the point of taking a hit for him. One day, the 'brother' came to m- the boy, saying he found the key to his chains. Before they escaped the castle, the boy took the pleasure of freezing the ugly frog's veins. Slowly. The 'brother' said he knew a few roguish tricks and that together with the boy they could steal whatever they wanted. The wretched abomination I mean 'brother' told him that they should not keep their names since they were their past life's names, so they invented nicknames for each other. The boy noticed that the brother was getting quite greedy, sometimes even killing people for money or taking up jobs for it. It wasn't pleasent when the 'brother' found out that there was a 100.000 gold bounty on both of them. The wretched abomination convinced me to go to Eubric to escape the bounty." Heckz seemed to start getting angrier. "And if by escape the jackass meant puting an arrow in my head and leaving me for dead whilist he kept 50.000 gold, well he was quite right. When I woke up, apparently in the hovels, I started to look where to go in this shit pile of a city. Luckily there were no gates back then, so I headed straight to Heroica." Heckz started calming down. "Oh, I'm sorry, was I reffering the boy as me? It was obviously the wine... that was certainly hidden in the water..." Heckz turned to Throlar. "Now you."

"But everyone did just tell their tale... It's your turn now..." Heh, these people are really buying it. You are so smart John. Heckz thought to himself.

Heckz keeps all his cards.

"Well I thought otherwise, dearie. I'd really rather leave this place with better prizes than somthing like a Tonic." Heckz plays his last card, Holy Cow (Luminous 4), and quickly gets out of the place.

Ooooh, so Geor Bullsworth is the father of those brats that we saved in #93. When I started I really felt like starting anew since Heckz was nothing and had dull quirks, I also made him act like he was cunning for some reason. Now I made him more interesting (at least to me) and I don't feel like changing anymore. Maybe you can focus more on your character, making him original and so on and you'll start to like him.

OoC: And now my gold is 584 (because of Decamon and paying for the room. Heckz clearly didn't care about Eric's story, even if the nord made a whole wall of text tale about it. When Eric finished the sorcerer was a little annoyed. "Oh I'm sorry, I thought the dwarf was Throlar." He then turns to Throlar again. "You were saying?"

Heckz plays Mandragora (Plant 2) again. He then plays Yeti (Icy 4).

"You are right, it's not the greatest story of all time. It's not even in the top 10." "Now you tell a story Throlar." Said Heckz quickly.

Heckz plays Ursa Minor (Ethereal 1). He starts the next round with Mandragora (Plant 2).

I did.

Heckz took a sip of his drink, clearly regreting it afterwards. "Are you sure this is clean water? One might have suspicious when I didn't see any pond for hours. Don't even get me started on clean ones." He then put 10 gold next to the bartender. "I'm taking the room, I am in no way 'common'." He turned his attention towards Rollinger and the other people he didn't really care about. "Yeah... sure... stories." Shit. Last time was easy making one up since the guy was drunk. How do I even convice the nord or that smartass dwarf. He was about to say something until Eric interrupted. "What Ethan said. Tell us a story Rollinger."

"I hope your description of my fine looks were a joke too, old man." Heckz finishes the conversation and starts getting ready to play the game.

"Maybe it does. Fine, I'll give you 3 imaginary pieces of gold and two real ones. How about that?"

Looking at who he's going against next, Heckz walks up to his next opponent (Guts). "I'll give you five imaginary pieces of gold if you let me win. Pretty good deal huh?"

"I'll take a water as well. At least that's not worth five gold more..." He said, clearly annoyed by the prices.

OoC: I should have one more Deadly Venom. And no problem-o about the delay. Heckz glares at the statue. "Looks more like a deformed were-bat..." He then sits in a stool and talks to the innkeeper. "So, do you have any idea how long until we reach the Paladin Order? It has been a long journey. I'd also like to see what drinks you have to offer."

"... or it could be just a demonic trap like the last inn. But who cares, let's go inside."

I wonder how someone could possibly win against a 10 Ethereal to win the mystery prize...
