  1. I swear if Throlar keeps making those noices I'll- He then noticed that Throlar was right next him. Oh. Heckz also quietly walks towards the noise.
  2. "Fake yawn. I'm going to bed." Heckz heads to the common room.
  3. "And I need about two thousand gold pieces. Can I get that too?" Shouted Heckz sarcastically.
  4. "Are you sure that's 'water' or is it just a cup full of your tears, Mister Maybe Has Makeup Man?" He said, annoyed by the innkeeper. "Whatever. I'll sleep in the common room." Heckz briefly looked at Eric as the nord was talking to the woman. Watch out, Edwin. That scar might bite. He then went to a nearby table and sat there.
  5. I don't really think those are names for someone that fights in arenas, so all I could come up with was Gladiator (I already searched synonyms for it).
  6. Heckz clearly backed away from the scarred woman, disgusted. "Speak for yourself, Throlar." He said to Throlar, then he turned to the Innkeeper. "Yes, sad makeup face, we'll be staying tonight."
  7. Heckz walked up to the new headstone and started drawing a smiley face with his scythe. "Finally, showing some manners to your party leader." Said Heckz as he kept on leading the party towards Eubric.
  8. GLADIATOR These entertaining champions do it for the fame and the glory. Additional Health: +5 Weapons: The gladiator uses fighting weapons that benefit them in battle like greatswords, longswords, lances and axes. Job Traits: Diplomacy: (See Knight). Glory: Whenever the gladiator kills an enemy, it gains gold equal to the enemy's level. Gladiating: The gladiator has a special way of combining acting and fighting. Battle Style: Entertainer: The gladiator specifically uses his weapons to give a good show. 1. SHIELD: Are you not entertained? - The gladiator amazes the party with it's moves, giving all his allies the positive effect his weapon boosts for the next 3 rounds. In addition, he attacks the target equal to four times their weapon power added to their level (15WP x 4 + level 30 = 90 damage) 2. CRITICAL FURIOUS HIT - The gladiator attacks their target equal to two times their weapon power added to their level (15WP x 2 + level 30 = 60 damage). The gladiator cannot change targets until the chosen target is defeated. 3. FURIOUS HIT - The gladiator attacks their target equal to their weapon power added to their level (15WP + level 30 = 45 damage). The gladiator cannot change targets until the chosen target is defeated. 4. FIGHT TRICK - The gladiator allows the target to try and attack him, but blocks it and deals the negative effect his current weapon gives. Nothing happens if the gladiator is not gladiating. 5. DAMAGE - The gladiator is struck by the opponent's attack. 6. SPECIAL DODGE - The gladiator has a 1/2 chance to dodge the opponent's special skill so that it hits the next ally in turn instead, unless the skill hits everybody. GLADIATING: The gladiator can choose to focus on entertaining his crowd while fighting, making quite a show with his weapons. When gladiating is in use, it overrides the immunity it's negative effect gives (E.g. Gladiator is immune to slowed but gladiates with a greatsword, the hero is slowed anyways. Gladiator changes weapon and the enemy deals Slowed to it, gladiator is not slowed.) Greatsword - The heavy greatsword gives the gladiator a bit of a challenge, making the gladiator Encouraged to do better but Slowed because of the heaviness of the weapon. Lance - The flexibilty in the use of a lance makes the gladiator Nimble but Weakened because of the focus on dodging. Axe - The gladiator can make quick use of an axe, making the gladiator Hastened but Jinxed because of his unbalanced position. Longsword - The easy use of the longsword makes the gladiator Lucky with his attacks but Fragile because of difficulty parrying. By the Gladiator I meant a hero/heroine who specialized in one on one matches whilist entertaining people with his moves (gladiating).
  9. With Fame, I was aiming at something more like "Charismatic personality" than diplomacy, but I see your point. I put Glory in since it's kind of compensation for the fact that Gladiator can't change targets. And I don't see a point in Reinforced since Gladiator is not really a defence class and don't see a weapon that can grant it. GLADIATOR These entertaining champions do it for the fame and the glory. 10. "Is anyone going to write something on this headstone or shall we keep going on?"
  11. Thanks for the ideas! I made two alternatives, one is having a chance to miss and the other is having a buff/debuff like you said. I also made it so the Gladiator can choose to use gladiating whenever it wants. GLADIATING: The gladiator can choose to focus on entertaining his crowd while fighting, making quite a show with his weapons but having a 2/6 chance to miss with each hit. Greatsword - The heavy greatsword gives the gladiator a bit of a challenge, making the gladiator Encouraged to do better. Lance - The flexibilty in the use of a lance makes the gladiator Nimble. Axe - The gladiator can make quick use of an axe, making the gladiator Hastened. Halberd - The halberd is a good way to entertain whilist in battle, making the gladiator Inspired to keep on putting a good show. Longsword - The easy use of the longsword makes the gladiator Lucky with his fights. OR GLADIATING: The gladiator can choose to focus on entertaining his crowd while fighting, making quite a show with his weapons but with some drawbacks. Greatsword - The heavy greatsword gives the gladiator a bit of a challenge, making the gladiator Encouraged to do better but Slowed due to it's heaviness. Lance - The flexibilty in the use of a lance makes the gladiator Nimble but at the same time Weakened due to it's defensive focus. Axe - The gladiator can make quick use of an axe, giving the gladiator the Hastened effect but at the cost of precision, making the gladiator have a 1/3 chance to miss with each hit. Longsword - The easy use of the longsword makes the gladiator Lucky with his fights but Fragile due to it's difficult use to parry. For the buff/debuff version I decided to remove the Halberd as a weapon option since I couldn't come up with a good counter to it.
  12. "They also say real dwarves have beards. I was beggining to think we had shirt-ruining gnome amongst us." Heckz unpatiently taps his foot, waiting for Throlar to shovel.
  13. Okay, here goes. NOTE 1: I didn't know how to name roll 2 and 3 other than furious, but my point was that the gladiator cannot change targets. Any better words for it? NOTE 2: Is gladiating even a word. NOTE 3: Sorry if I used too many "entertain" and "challenge" words. GLADIATOR These entertaining champions do it for the fame and the glory. Additional Health: +3 Weapons: The gladiator use fighting weapons that benefit them in battle like greatswords, longswords, lances, axes and halberds. Job Traits: Fame: Gladiators have an appealing personality, making them have a way with words. Glory: Whenever the gladiator kills an enemy, it gains gold equal to the enemy's level. Challenger: When a fight begins, the gladiator can choose to not be able to use any consumables for the duration of the battle. If the battle ends and the gladiator is still alive, it gains double experience. Battle Style: Entertainer: The gladiator specifically uses his weapons to give a good to show. 1. SHIELD: Are you not entertained? - The gladiator amazes the party with it's moves, giving them all the effect his weapon boosts for the next 3 rounds. DAMAGE - The gladiator is struck by the opponent's attack. 6. SPECIAL DODGE - The gladiator has a 1/2 chance to dodge the opponent's special skill so that it hits the next ally in turn instead, unless the skill hits everybody. 14. Yes. Maybe even Nimble and Inspired. They can't change targets though, like the barbarian.
  15. I've been thinking of a gladiator type class were the hero would have a different effect depending on which type of weapon they are using. The requirement could also be something like "Win X amount of times in the Arena.". What do you guys think?
  16. "Hmm, I thought I heard something. It must have been the wind, so let the wind carry the body." Heckz commands the party outside.
  17. OoC: Kinto, I think you should have also removed the Wicked Perfume from Heckz' inventory.
  18. "Very well then. Someone get the corpse. We'll go outside so we can bury him. Then we'll continue with our journey."
  19. "We've got two options: We take this stinking corpse and the Paladin's Order will probably blame us for his murder, or we don't take him and they question us. I say we don't, what do you think Eric?" He said, purposely ignoring Throlar.
  20. "Keep going, obviously. Unless we find a fancy tailor along the way."
  21. I think Throlar just took the Cursed Items, not the gold or the acutal items.
  22. Heckz seemed 'calm', although his eyes and eyebrows were twitching. "I'm throwing you down the next well we see. Then I'll loot your corpse alongside Eric, if he's up to it." Heckz cleans his scythe with the bedsheets.
  23. Heckz looked at the approaching Throlar with his bloodied longsword. "If you do it you can start saying goodbye to the loot and the quest reward."
  24. Heckz laughed as Throlar failed at lunging him, "Oh no! Please not the vomit!" He said sarcastically. He then turned serious. "Don't get it in my shoes though."' He then grabbed all the other items and searched for the paladin's armour. "Eric, be a dear and pick the cursed items since you so deeply 'whatever' Rollinger."
