Thanks Lego! Thanks for supporting your loyal collectors! I've been a Lego collector since the early 90's and get shafted on minifigs I'd love at least to get a reasonable opportunity to buy. At least with the videogame preorders everyone has a shot. Many others and I would have to give an arm and a leg for some SDCC exclusive that we probably won't ever seen in a set. Just thank goodness Azog came in one. I highly doubt that a Spiderwoman/Shazam/Collector amongst other minifigs will ever be in a set. I know I would love this Rocket printing to go along with the other GOTG but I refuse to give into scalper prices.

From Peter Jackson's Facebook page: Thank you all for your responses to my posting about Lorri and Damien’s book. Of course, many of you asked about the Hobbit Trailer. So, yes - there will be a Hobbit Trailer. But like the previous two years, it’s not going to be released until around Oct. The complex VFX work required to produce the battle shots we’re all wanting to see are simply not far enough along yet. However...yesterday I finished work on a Teaser Trailer and that has just been delivered to Warner Bros. So no doubt this Teaser Trailer will be making it’s way into the world sometime soon… Cheers, Peter J http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=103027

Played the special lego mission on Lego Marvel, and unlike previous games I noticed there was no "teaser builds" for any upcoming sets. That's disappointing consider the LOTR one teased the Council of Elrond set. Seems like its mostly vehicles here on out except for the Hulk Laboratory. Sure hope Electro looks like his costume in the game. Disappointed that we won't be getting the traditional Green Goblin, but I know its the monster one from the show. Don't think anyone has assumed that the pilot for the Spider-heli is perhaps Power Man.

Was worried this would happen. Been waiting a long time for the Hoth Planet set and its been out overseas for awhile now. What to do now....

Well I was just saying rumor lists in general. Star Wars set rumors seem to be on a lot, but wish Lego would just handle this better in announcing sets before rumors get out. I have the feeling however that the license requires them to keep it quiet for as long as they can til pictures/announcements across numerous product lines can be released in anticipation for movie/tv show/etc.

Well with any rumor I take it with a grain of salt, but also this is how we get set information most of the time. With the talk of Smaug, perhaps it is not in the regular Hobbit line, but in the form of a UCS set. We can only speculate at this point til we get official pics.

Funny, I didn't realize It was that big in the trailer. Guess I didn't focus on how he compared to Dwalin bracing the door. Guess it's safe to say we'll see a Dol Guldur set too? Could be a neat set.

From what I've seen in the production videos, a huge Dale set would be very cool to have.

I just asked this question on the previous page! But I think we're scratching our heads on that one. Can't imagine it would be part of the new wave...and not sure if Lego would put in another order or if they've done that for any other set for that matter. Wow! Didn't know in Beorn's bear form that he would be that big. Haven't read the book so I figured he would be the size of a regular bear.

So we're looking at at least 5 new sets? And that's not including the Mirkwood spider nor the Barrel Escape?

Good question. Off the top of my head I don't know of many sets that have both identities of one character in a set. All I know of right now is the Batcaves with Bruce Wayne and Batman. No Banner in the Hulk set and no Harley Quinn, just Harleen Quinzel, in the Arkham set.

Sure hope we get Beorn the Bear in one of these sets. Been dying for a lego bear and would prefer not to buy one separately since I don't want the Forest Police station/Robbers' hideout.

What I would think Lego would produce: F4 The Fantasticar has four individual cars that connect into one...two for each set. -Dr. Doom Chase: 2 sections of the Fantasticar (Front/side sections), Mr. Fantastic, The Human Torch (On fire), Dr. Doom with a small green ship. -Battle of the Mole Men: 2 sections of the Fantasticar (Back/side sections), Invisible Woman, The Thing, Mole Man with 2 mole minions. X-Men (WE NEED X-MEN!) Danger Room walls/floors would connect to make a playset -Battle in the Danger Room (1): Walls with turrets and missile launchers (Yeah I guess flick fire... ): Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm. -Battle in the Danger Room (2): Walls with flame throwers (flames spewing out) and arms with saw blades on them: Iceman, Rogue, Beast. -Mutant escape: Semi truck with holding cells: Wolverine (I know Lego wants him in as many sets as they can get him in), Nightcrawler, Magneto, Juggernaut, security guard. -Blackbird vs. the Sentinel: All blue Blackbird (yeah doesn't sound right), landing gear, turrets, many seats, computer console, loading platform with Wolverine, Colossus, Professor X, Gambit with buildable Sentinel. I would love to get that many X-Men, but I'd assume Lego wouldn't put that many characters out at once.

It is Lego's fault. It was their decision to raffle and hand out the exclusive minifigures. And Lego wouldn't be a good company if they didn't owe anybody. They have done numerous things right for their customers. But only offering a select amount of exclusive figures you can only get at in California, in a crazy atmosphere of people at SDCC, or pay dearfully to someone who just cares to turn it around for profit. All I'm saying is Lego is going about this the wrong way and should give a reasonable opportunity to people who are loyal and who cherish their products. Loyalty only goes so far in business, but it shouldn't go there. There's no reason for me to believe Lego will ever put Spiderwoman, a small and unique character, into one of their sets down the road. Same goes for Bizarro and Phoenix. At least 400 dollars for a minifigure is outrageous for a normal customer/fan/collector and it's just a slap in the face for someone who cares about their Legos. And for the record, I wouldn't ask Lego for anything free, but just a reasonable opportunity for someone who can't make it there simply with the cost of hotel and travel.....because I buy their Lego sets

I would be very excited for a Winter Soldier figure. He is one of my favorite characters. But I am worried these movie sets are taking up the space that should be given to comic F4 and X-men sets.

Ridiculous. Sad news for the people who constantly buy Lego products year after year, yet some scumbags looking to make a buck, or even just happen to walk by get a figure many people have been waiting for. This is just a slap in my face as a loyal collector since the early 90s, specially having a feeling that the superhero, Spiderwoman, probably won't ever make it into a set.

Ronan the Accuser, the Collector, Nebula and Nova Corps all seem to be in the way so I don't seem much time for Thanos. Thanos would be an awesome minifig to get, but if we ever get a Fantastic Four, Ronan the Accuser would be a great villain to pair them with.

Will appear. Doesn't mean he's the focus of who the Guardians will face off with. We will get Thanos at some point, but all signs seem to point to Avengers 3, when all of this build up leads to finally facing off with Thanos. Seems like he's just pulling the strings in Avengers, GOTG, and perhaps in Thor: TDW.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I think Fantastic Four and X-Men are just a priority at this point. Can't believe we haven't got any of them yet and have just been getting movie and tv show based sets.

Thanks for clearing that up. Havent read the book and been manuvering through spoilers on here! In that case I dont see why we wouldnt get a Beorn set then! Exactly what I was thinking. Looking at a map of Lake Town, would have been perfect to get multiple sets of, but I don't want a ton of boats around.

Just need a Green Lantern minifig to finish off the core Justice League. Perhaps he might be packaged with another Batman set like Flash is. I wouldnt put it past Lego to do a Professor Pyg or Mr. Toad. Never thought I'd see a Nova or Iron Fist. Actually I'm surprised Clayface was never made, being a major villain in the first Batman Lego game.

I hope we get 2 different Smaugs: One for a regular set and a UCS one. Very happy to see Bard but was hoping for a bear in the set from the trailer, which I assume was in Lake Town too. Boy, do I hope that Azog figure will be coming in a set! Awesome figure! Bad enough The superhero figs are exclusive...
