Well I just found an old unfinished project. Wayyy old. I tried making a realistic train...... I wasn't happy with it and yall here on the forum didn't seem happy with it at the time so I scrapped it Here is I think..... 4th or 5th Lego train I made? Way old thing. Based on this thing.

What did ya'll forget about my bag of ideas from ages ago :p it's floating around there somewhere with the strangest trains ever made. From trains that look like horses to vertical boiler steep gradient trains. My lego pneumatic trains are pretty strange in lego terms but I need to work on them more

I did not know that was a thing... and man is it cool! I was actually planning to make a smaller plane in the middle of the win. I never knew those bomber stations existed.

I have a lot of work to do on this thing. I was hoping to find another use for the large airplane wing brick. My brain said gas station or toll booth.

Working on a unique gas station idea, but.... I'm having a little trouble making the gas pumps look like pumps! What do you think about them guys?

I still need to get this thing sorted out. It's in the back of my mind a lot of the time. Bleh I really want to get it done I really can't wait to see this brick built, it's so much better then my last pneumatic train. Just looking back over my mocs over the years I feel like I have improved as a building and this train is what is going to show it

God that thing in blue-render is beautiful. I swear the HP train... Just no one can really agree on a design for it.

Would an off topic forum in train tech fill the void of non Lego train discussions? Just a thought. Most of folks here love trains and well I haven't seen any other train forum with the folks we have here

I had a crazy dream.... where I saw a swiss army knife of a train... It... uh.... moved a turntable from the bottom to move carts around.... it had the equipment for track repair on it. and was also a heavy mover.... It was a strange dream! here is... an attempt and the bit that ran the turntable

Arent they pretty costly? I was hoping we could compile some alternatives :p I really like using the bluerail as the monorail because of the different sizes

I find a lot of weird train stuff that'd id love to talk about with you guys I don't know of any other train forum this awesome

I know there is the brick rail system but I do not have an example of it. switches inclines everything....... We had that gondla recently posted here.... And there was maglev floating around on youtube

Oh that train was from a couple years ago. I have the train dismantled but not the wheel base. Locomotive Annie made one as well it was larger and was battery powered I believe . Edit. Looking back now I really wish I kept this thing together. I really like the unusual lines of the train and many of the angles. If I did it right and maybe had more resources at the time I could have had a really sweet monorail.

Much mike the boiler idea post lets discuss monorails and gondolas. here is the type of alternative monorails that I know of. A monorail on training wheels And an old blue era monorail idea. You folks have any other idea's for monorails?
