I really like this. The symmetry really makes it look neat as well. Good job! Tom

1184, 1185, 1187 Ninja Sets Review
Tom_castlefan replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I wish I had these. I have very few ninja-figs. However, I do have a rarer female white ninja minifig Very nice review, as always. Tom -
7886 Batcycle: Harley's Hammer Truck review
Tom_castlefan replied to Batbrick's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nice review! I really like the Harley-Quinn figure. Might need it for a jester for my castle MOC's, but i could always wait for the castle advent calender. Tom -
What is your opinion of the new dragons as featured in the king's castle siege set, the troll warship and the skeleton tower? Do you feel they are <insert that tiresome argument> and out of place, or a worthy addition to your MOC's? Do you feel this is how lego should continue to create dragons, or should they return to their roots and make old style dragons? Personally, I love both. I have a multitude of classic dragons, as well as one of each of the dragons from the fantasy era sets. Tom

This is something I had wondered about, thanks for the image link! Tom

I think you have really set the scene for the featured minifigs. Nice work! Tom

An excellent addition to your very nice recent mocs. I agree you should make a gate, and all agree that I too would pay for a modular line of this quality. Tom

I really like the dinosaur and the helm! Great creation, keep it up! Tom

Revisiting old topics (Bumping)
Tom_castlefan replied to Tom_castlefan's topic in Forum Information and Help
Thanks very much - I'll bear this in mind before I go dragging up any old topic Tom -
First of all, I'm sorry if there is an obvious thread where I could of found this information. I would like to know what the ruling is on reviving old threads that have disappeared from the first page, and roughly how far back is acceptable to re-drag something up. For example, would it be frowned upon if I posted in a 2 month old thread which had a MOC that I simply had to comment on? Not saying I have, just an example. I only ask this as in previous forums I used to frequent (non-lego related), thread necromancy was frowned upon, and could even earn the person who did it a ban. Thanks in advance. Tom

I'm not a massive fan of the western theme, but these do look amazing. Would love to see interior shots too. Tom

Yeah it was my fault, sorry about that!

Association for the Advancement of Dragon's Rights
Tom_castlefan replied to Francis Marion's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
In my legoverse, dragon's are intelligent enough to decide whether they want to be good or evil. They bow to no-one... its some Eragon style-shizz. Tom -
What faction from Castle do you represent?
Tom_castlefan replied to Dovchenko's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
At the minute, it's Orcs. From the fantasy era sets, i have 10 (!) and 2 big green trolls. Amazing, I know... Tom -
3053 Emperor's Stronghold: A Ninja Review
Tom_castlefan replied to voltio's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
A brilliant set deserves a brilliant review, and I think you did it justice. I especially love the sloping walls, and the brown baseplates - I think they'd be very useful. However, I unfortunately never got this set -
I love the story in this! The creation is very good also - a very well presented, stereotypical view of dwarf steam-punk technology. Nice work! Tom
-
Looks bulky, but at the same time very elvish. Nice minifigs also. Tom
-
I like this creation very much, but I personally don't feel that the red neck-protector helmet on the orcs looks good. Other than that, it's very nice! Tom
-
That sure is a beautiful creation - I especially like the landscaping, and as you pointed out, the bridge is wonderful too. I can't actually find a fault in this creation - the level of detail is simply brilliant. Nice find Tom

Younger siblings and LEGO?
Tom_castlefan replied to DarkYamiDragon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
When I was younger my brother smashed my lego, but now he is old enough to know better, and even plays with it with me. He doesn't like building it so much, but does buy it, and we often pool our money to afford some of the larger sets. He is 11. Tom -
That could be it. I have such a bad memory that I can't remember when I registered.. As I said, its not a big issue anyway, but i'd assume your right. Thanks for the help, Tom

Basically, when I post, it says I joined on the 15th of June, when in fact I did not join until the 21st. Not overly important, just something I wondered about. Any help in clearing this up is appreciated, thanks. Also, apologies if this is not the right forum. Tom

Which new animal would you prefer
Tom_castlefan replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
How useful would a cow be in other creations. Guess what I voted.
