  1. Thanks for the encouragement. It is now up for review on Cuusoo..:)
  2. Thanks for your nice comment, really glad you like the tank. I find that one of the hardest things to get right. :) Yup, the shaft/cardan drive was the first thing I created on the model when I began building it last november. :) I really like your bike, its absolutely fantastic! Do you guys really think it would have a chance on Cuusoo? Thank you tim! I find building motorcycles both demanding but also rewarding when you get it right. I takes time though to find solutions that both look good and is strong enough. I would really like some more color variation on the technic parts such as panels, and pin connectors to be able to build frames in nice colors. :) And let us not forget the rims, and tires - we could really benefit of some new molds/colors there...
  3. Thank you for your kind comment, Im glad you like it. Regarding the bandaged exhaust (tan hoses), I guess its a matter of taste.. ;) Such nice feedback - regarding a contest, well I think I'll be disqualified anyway due to the time-schema - since this took me ten months..;) I bow my head and thank you for your comment.
  4. So I'm finally finished with my Hard Tail Bobber. I've been building it on and off for the last 10 months and now I feel that I dare present it to the public. Its been a very expensive build since it uses a fare deal of rare black parts to get a clean look. And the tan hoses for the bandaged exhaust are not very easy to find now either.. :) Well, enough talking here it is. Tech specs: A beefy air/liquid cooled V4 2700cc engine. [fake] Horizontally mounted radiator Bandaged exhaust for some increased perfomance but mainly for the looks. Shaft drive almost integrated with the lines of the frame. Double front disc brakes with brake lines. Old fashioned oil tank that houses battery and electronics. Bar end indicators. Well I think that's about it! Hope you like it! /Jonsson
  5. Really like the look of this bike, cant wait to see it in bricks! I'm specially interested in the rear suspension since I'm working on a similiar sloution for my next bike..
  6. Absolutely amazing work, the level of detail is indeed incredible! The colors are perfect. Good work.
  7. Thanks Kierna, you've given me some ideas on how to solve the rake-issue. I hope I will be able to post some images tomorrow! :)
  8. Thank you all for the warm welcome and all the kind words! :) And yes I'm really looking forward to the new tires from the 42007 set! As for the rake - I'm aware of that it aint perfect and I'm working on a solution. As you have mentioned in your own threads, I also find that this is one of the more diffucult things to get right when buidling a smaller or more compact bike..:) But isnt calling it a V-rod stretching it a bit..
  9. Hi guys and gals! I'm fairly new to this forum and thought I would present myself alongside with my first moc after a very long dark age. 2,5 years ago I finally got my motorcycle licens at 30 years of age. I had accomplished one of my dreams. The first one and a half year I drove about 20000km on my Street Triple R and this year I traded it in for a brand new Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200. On that I went from Sweden through Europe to Croatia and back. I just love this bike, but I miss the simplicity of throwing my leg over a tiny and neat bike to go grab a coffea with my mates. So when my friend asked my if I wanted to buy his fathers bike that had been stored since he passed away eight years ago I instantly said yes. It is a simple but fairly good looking Kawasaki KZ400 from 1982.The perfect bike for a short ride downtown to the coffeashop. And since I always seem to customize my stuff I began to plan to convert it to a street/dirttracker just for the fun of it. So the fall came and I began to disassemble the bike and right now its in pieces on my livingroom floor... So how the heck did I get out from my dark age and started building this Lego-version of it? Well ther is this woman I met this summer. A fantastic girl with to children that just loves Lego - and bang!! It just hit me how fun it used to be.. So after some searching for my old collection and some Bricklink-orders later it is now finished. First some pictures for comparison:This blue bike is the one I bought and began to strip from "unnecessary" parts.. And this bike get to symbolise what kind of look I want... This is my KZ400 made out of lego: Since this is finished now, I'll guess I will continue with the next one - a chopper/bobber hardtail with shaft drive... Cheers! //Jonsson
