I've got no idea. The only reputable info I've seen on it is the name and set number listed on brickset. But in my humble opinion high set number, absence from retailer catalogues and very sparse info while all other sets have leaked equals exclusive. If I had to guess I'd say it from Rebels based on it actually making an appearance in that show.

Based on their absence from the leaked Italian catalogue and the set numbers I wouldn't be surprised if 75141 Kanan's Speeder Bike 75142 Spider Homing Droid and 75143 A-Wing Star Fighter were all various retailer exclusives.

It looks like I'll be off to brink link to buy a whole bunch more rifles and blasters. I guess I just have to accept that battle packs = stud shooters. I can't believe how well the resistance trooper BP turned out. Everyone seems impressed too. It was the one I had the least interest in and now it looks to be the best of the January sets by far. Even the little speeder build is fantastic. I know no one cares but my thoughts are: 75131: Love it. Definite purchase. Personally I'm not sure if the yellow visor is printed on the faces or molded in the helmet. I'll wait and see, if it's not printed I'll definitely get multiples for all those head variations. 75132: It's been said already, pretty disappointing to have two officers. I already have all the TFA FO officers from the TIE and Shuttle I don't need an army of them that out number the stormtroopers. 75134: I'll buy one and remove the damage on the helmets. I would have bought many more if the stormtroopers were generic like in the advent calendar or Star Destroyer. That is one officer I'd like to have and I'll probably brick link a second. 75138: I could do with an extra snow trooper and hoth trooper. I'm curious to see Han's alt face. I'll get all three OT sets eventually but I'm not going to rush out to buy them and I'll just wait for a nice discount. I'm surprised quite a few people don't have a Boba Fett. The Skiff wasn't that long ago and a really nice little set.

A guy asks a legitimate question about 2016 sets and is ignored, good thing there's so much wishlist talk about Banthas and Tuskens... As for Rebel sets so far there's Kanan's Speederbike as already mentioned plus 4 Microfighters The Ghost, TIE Advanced Prototype, Wookiee Gunship and AT-DP. I think there's been talk here about an A-Wing but I don't know if that's been confirmed or just a rumour.

^ This. I would have accepted two pilots and a stormtrooper Finn rather than the four minifigures we got, that's how much I would have preferred a Finn minifig with the TIE. But I can't blame Lego as at the design stage they probably had no idea about the pairing. I see polybag as a quick and easy way to make up for missing out on putting an alternate Finn in another set.

That's interesting and just might be the case. I just assumed it was a gun the rear pilot/gunner controlled. And that doesnt mean I cant still turn it into a gun ;)

Has anyone come up with a MOD to give the gun on top of the 75101 TIE more range of movement or make it rotational?

Right now David Jones is your best bet with 20% off RRP. I haven't followed the Simpsons sets but Big W a few weeks ago when they had 20% off was definitely the best price for the Kwik E Mart if you could find one it stock, their catalogue price is still $268, well below RRP. If you can wait, a better than 20% off deal might eventually pop up but you can definitely avoid paying RRP at S@H. Worst case scenario find someone with stock and get them to price match one of the current toy sale catalogues like Big W or David Jones 20% off.

How long would you expect the 75105 MF to be in production? Obviously it's not going any where for 12 to 24 months but I wonder if it will have an extended life like 7965 and even span multiple movie releases. (Pure speculation) If the ship itself appears it multiple films would it make sense to keep 75105 in production even if the minifigs become a bit out of date because I can't see how it could be redesigned every couple of years if it continues on in the film series. The same could be said about the X-Wing and TIE but I'm sure TLG will update the colour schemes.

Maybe the colour of the shuttle is just artistic license. The Emperor's shuttle and X-Wings aren't exactly white either yet TLG have been doing this for years. Plus the special TIE Fighter should have white wings not light bley. I'm sure there are other examples that I'm unable to recall at the moment. I'm actually pretty impressed by what TLG have been able to achieve with their limited access and all the secrecy. Come December I'm sure there will be MOCs of 75104 in black if that's the way it is in the movie.

My bad. They are slightly different torso prints, check out the collars, belt height and obviously breast pockets. I guess he just has a thin waist ;)

Apparently people are having luck getting other major retailers to price match Toys R Us BOGO half sale, so if you want TFA sets, don't want to pay RRP and don't want to wait for TRU to get stock, it sounds like the way to go.

I was reading the Brickset review of 75101 Special Forces TIE Fighter and noticed this: I though it might have been an error as it has the same torso as the female First Order Officer from 75104 Rylo Ren's Shuttle. I checked other pictures/reviews, it's not an error. That minifig is either supposed to be a woman or TLG mistakenly gave that officer a feminine torso. Not a big deal, just thought I'd point it out.

Thanks! That's a good thing I think. Everyone likes unique generic heads but the more females the better. I can see it being in the Hoth UCS. That male head is new and in four sets already. While the offical set is probably oversized this one in my opinion is a bit undersized, but I can see where you're coming from. I still think it's wonderful and I could definitely see it as an official microfighter set, how many pieces did it take to build?

Well you'd have to actually find a TRU will stock to take advange of their Buy 1 Get 1 Half offer. I picked up Rey's Speeder last night at Target for $35. shopforme.com.au now has all the TFA sets for 20% off. I purchased 75102 and 75104 and now I'm all done. Shipping from them can be slow, it will be at least a week for me, probably more I'm sure they'll have a tonne of orders, but I'm sure I'll receive them before a major retailer has a 20% off sale.

Don't feel too bad mate, same here in Sydney, except for maybe the scalpers. I'm currently building Rey's Speeder. Really cool set. Small but an interesting build, nice colours too.
