As a general note for these alternate models, the only instructions available are... how shall I put this... not very comprehensive. For instance, 4774 C Model's instructions consist of only two steps, including the finished model. They cram a lot of detail into only a few steps, and from the camera angle it isn't always clear what bricks are placed where. I've been hesitant to post these, but these LXFs have been made to the best of my ability with what is given, and if that is not acceptable for this index, then I will understand. If anyone has any suggestions for what can be improved, feel free to tell me. There are also a few additional models included in the instructions for these two sets. For what it's worth, JGW3000, all inaccuracies in my LXF files (starting November 8, 2014 and including any older LXFs that have been updated since then) are marked under the "Groups" tab in LEGO Digital Designer. This includes brick-built solutions for missing pieces. That way, I need only post a single LXF file in which the custom assemblies can be easily identified and, if you so desire, removed from the model. It's a considerably more practical solution than needing to post (and, when necessary, update) two separate LXF files whenever I am submitting a file containing a brick-built replacement.

LEGO Digital Designer uses the same color names (as well as brick names and IDs) as LEGO Customer Services replacement parts. When available, Brickset uses a set's inventory from Customer Services, so if you're ever unsure about what color to use, the Brickset inventory would be a good place to check first. Just make sure that the inventory listed on Brickset is the one from Customer Services; some older sets, such as 6270 Forbidden Island, do not have an inventory listed there and so Brickset instead uses the Rebrickable inventory, which does not use the same names as LDD. Since the Customer Services inventories are typically incomplete and may be missing a crucial brick you're looking for, the Peeron Color Chart is a handy resource if you want to refer to the inventories of Rebrickable, Bricklink, or Peeron; the names listed under "LEGOName" are the ones used by Customer Services and LDD. Unlike grey, purple, or brown, LEGO has been very consistent with use of the color tan, known internally as "Brick Yellow", since its introduction back in 1998. For the most part, "Brick Yellow" the color you'll want to use. On the other hand, "Light Yellow" is a much more obscure color, very rarely used outside the Island Xtreme Stunts theme. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle!

As it was, I was experimenting with an alternate custom assembly for 32489 Bionicle Body Trunk Gearbox which more closely matched its proportions.
