I brought myself a 9397 and 8043 (before it gets discontinued) and brought Sariels book too. From the other half I got a big 2x2 storage brick and drinking bottle with minifig head lid.

The argos listing seems to indicate you can add PF to it, I'm quite tempted to pick one up as the b-model looks pretty cool

Was just seeing if they had any sales on at the mo and saw they are listing the new F1 (42000) as being available for sale now, and most of the stores near me had at least 1 in stock. Thought it was meant to be released Feb/Mar time??

The first set I remember having was the Test Car (8865) so I was around 6-7 years old then. Loved the pop up headlights and the moving seats. The last set I remember having was the Technic Space Shuttle (8480), so it was probably around 1997 that I stopped playing properly with it (aged 15). In between that I always had lots of Pirate, Castle, Space and Underwater lego, but Technic was definitely my favourite. My biggest regret is getting rid of it all - I had massive bucket loads but can't even remember where most of it went, but I do (shamefully) remember throwing the Shuttle away in the wheelie bin when I was about 19 and clearing out of my room. Still can't believe I did it, especially now I'm building up a collection again. My recent purchases started October this year after a trip into the Downtown Disney store while on holiday made me want the Supercar (8070), so I guess my dark age was 1997-2012.

First post on here, I have just got back into Technic after I saw 8070 while in the Downtown Disney store on holiday last month. I promptly brought it when I got home and had loads of fun building it. I have also picked up 9393, 9396, 9398 and 8071 since, plus a few motors and recievers. As I'd like to get into making MOCs, I have asked for this book for xmas! Technic for teh win
