I like all of them, but i make a difference between the troops: 1) archers, c'bowmen, artillery 2) swordsmen, axemen, spearmen etc. 3) along with a halberd and a round helmet from KK1, guards of the crown city!

Hmm... all the options are nice, but i voted something else, because i want something dwarf related. A battle pack would be nice, but i would prefer a set. Something not based on the warlikeness of the dwarves, but on their craftmanship, like a building with a smithy. For the children a catapult and attacking orcs can be added eventually. I just think that theres only one dwarf related set made by TLC, if you think about it, that is the dwarvenmine. the dwarf in the battle ship of the orcs doesnt really count, and the dwarvenmine defender is an impuls, not a real set if you ask me. And finally the chessbord, well, thats also more a army builder then a real set. so i say: Dwarves for president!

This set is indeed one of the best of the castle line (after the Dwarvenmine!) because its a neat design, and good value for money! The siege tower is the best TLC ever made, and you get plenty of acessories. I bought two of them already, partly because the shop where i bought it had a huge sale (€20,- instead of €30,-!). If there was a dwarf (no winged helmet) included, this set was the best!

Excellent review! You've pointed out all the good parts of this set and I think this is one of the best (castle) sets LEGO has ever made!

I have to agree with that one, also because it's one of my first castle figs ... I think The Admiral and the soldiers from the Imperial guard theme are also pretty cool, and the forestmen and black falcons are also lovely, a pity that i don't own any of them .

Amazing good story, Sandy. The decors are great and the use of Irina Spalko's head for Beatrix' mother is just genious... with the fleshie colour she looks like she never sees the sun.

This is absolutely amazing! I just love the way you used the firemen's helmets and the caps instead of the "normal" shakos and triangle hats. This'll be a MOC to steal learn from...

I don't think this was coincidence, TLC has made this for more building possibilities, i guess.

This sounds nice! The poor orcs don't have a home, so i think this would be one of the main things i want new in the castle line. With the exception of the new Dwaf sets .

I don't know blue, but if you use red, give them red gloves. I made a general with red epaulettes, red gloves, a officer torso and the hat with the crossed sable sign. It looks good, i reckon .

Erm, there are so many things... but if i had to choose, i would pick a new mold for the goblin heads.

I have a younger sister, but she appreciates my hobby (however she REALLY doesn't like it). She's only 3 years younger, so it's cool...

Castle! Sw Indy Creator maybe, this set: 6119 I hate Bionicle and racers, so that's definitely not on my list...

Wow . These are really cool! I agree with others, a water fig is definitely a must, but harder to make. Probably the shark head from Victor Kruml from Harry Potter? The time elemental is the best, i think. The hippogrive from HP is the same colour, but not very related to the subject "time".

Erm, arabic style, crusades, the whole Richard vs Saladin thing. That would be awesome since I'm trying to make Saracens!

Very good review! I am a bit late with replaying though, but im a newby... . I must say, the Vulture droid is better then the old one, but i think the old Naboo starfighter is better. I got him a long time ago, still loving it!

But your Tower siege flag is normal? Hmm, interesting...
