  1. I think playmobil is the best after our beloved lego classic pirates. Lego 4+ has to big pieces but the playmobil pirates have great playabilities; and thats what playmobil is made for. Just playing
  2. I first thought of voting for my own entry but that wouldn't be fair, as there are much better vigs made then mine. I think Sandy's entry is the best, very original! Good job
  3. A, i see. Yea, far before i signed up . I saw that you added me to your friends list. Thanks!
  4. Ah, fort Legoredo... a beatiful set AND very useful for timber . I like your western town very much, KD. After all the LDD MOCs of you (wich were very nice, btw) i really wanted to see something real-build from you!
  5. I just saw Darthpineappels entry... ! However i have seen it before, but the medieval weapons and armory really finishes your MOC, piny!
  6. Wow, that 1592 looks amazing! I wish i had some castle sets that are before the fright knights/royal knights era... and i barely have sets from that serie! ...
  7. Poor orcy ... i like your MOC very much, cagri! The bed and the well designed floor are the best parts, i think.
  8. I use the black one as leader and the greys as less experienced side-kicks. But i think Moose only mented the way TLC divided them in "good" and "evil" groups, not the way we're using them .
  9. Awesome! I like the tower the best; it would look better with a spookier castle, i think, but it's still very nice!
  10. I thought that actually all of the ninjas were good (except the black one). The other bad guys were samurais and sort of muggers, but in all the good side had more figs.
  11. Cool MOCs, skelliegang and Erdbeereis1! Like the story behind the MOC from Skellie better, i think. But Erdbeer has a great gooy and spooky atmosphere! C'mon people, more entries!
  12. I agree with you, frogstudio. Lego stays a toy, something to play with . However i still think that they have to reckon with TFOLs and AFOLs, and i think the mmv is a very strategic move in that group from TLC
  13. I agree The skellie and orc queen are freaky enough! With dwarves we would have a bearded lady or something .
  14. True. But it stays a game, not a history book . There are just some nice ideas for soldiers from the ancient times, that's all.
  15. I like the bionicle because of the nostalgia . I have alot of the old bionicle like the toa and the rahkshi. I don't like the new sets; they aren't Lego anymore, IMO. The rahkshi, for example, are awesome action figures and can be combined to terrifying creatures without looking like the work of a 6 year old, and with all the new, "better" parts from the new sets it's difficult to make something that looks... "proffesional".
  16. Aw Baronsat, now don''t make a chance at all . Seriously, i really like your vig. Awesome idea
  17. Actually, i don't want a new faction yet. I know it may be sound strange for the some of you, but i think TLC musn't rush with new factions and stuff.
  18. There's also something with the Dutch word "kabouter". It means garden gnome sometimes, but it's also a word for a Irish Leprechaun, or the gnomes from J K Rowling . I thought something was also with the words troll and ogre in foreign languages. Almost everything that has to do with fairytales and (sometimes) with Fantasy has most of the time different words for the same thing and vice versa.
  19. Also, in the game Rome: Total war, there are great examples of Roman, Gallic, Carthagian and Egyptian soldiers, and Greek as well of course! You may get some nice inspiration of pics on the web of this game (or you could buy the game: it won't be more then E8,- by now )
  20. Well, i have to say i don't like the elf helmet from Brickforge, a dwarvenhelmet or no helm at all would look better on a custom elf minifig! The bow looks awesome in comparison with the normal longbow, though. Yes, i'm really looking forward to the elf sets that maybe will come out next year. However i think there have to be more troll and dwarf (!) related sets first before TLC makes another faction
  21. that would be sweet, i really liked that line. I have the lab of dr Frankenstein and the crypt of the vampire, both great sets with great minifigs!
  22. Thanks guss, i'm glad you liked it but i think the other entries are great as wel
  23. Very good review, millacol88! However i bet it is already reviewed i don't care, because it's along the crossbow attack (and the battlepacks, of course) the main army builder for crownies and skellies, so an interessting set! I agree with you: the price is totally worth it.
  24. I've never made a Vignette before, but when i saw this contest, an great idea came up in my mind: Sleepy Hollow! I just love this film, Tim Burton did a great job, and Johnny Depp as wel . I chose the scene were Constable Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) and his little helper the Young Masbath are trying to discover the secret of the headless horseman. In the haunted western woods, they come across the lovely Katherina van Tassel. They are looking for the Tree of Death, the big evil tree in the heart of the woods. To reveal the secret, Crane has to look IN the tree, and whats a better tool for that then an axe? He didn't reckon with the fact that the tree actually bleeds! Have an absolutely gruesome Halloween :skull: (for more information about the film, try this link)
  25. Wow, amazing! Great castle, but i think the water, the landscape and the minifigs passing/surfing/riding by are superb as wel. You did an amazing job! I want to see more of your creations!
