I actually think round shields would work better, look at the film Troy, almost every shield is round.

welcome on EB, Antonio! Maybe i've some ideas for you: for phalanxes for example, you could just use a normal spear, wich you can enlarge by using a lightsaber handle and a lego stick (don't know how to call them in English; they're the same as used as wands with HP). Good luck

Thats an impressive collection of HP you have, Sandy! You designed the characters that didn't came out in LEGO very well, even characters that did came out : Neville longbottom is a minifig in this set. Still, i think I like your Neville even better with the famous screaming face!

It would be awesome if there would come a impulse set (€2,99) with a dwarf (no winged helmet!) with some cool accessoires like gold ores and a pick axe... *sight*

When I get this set for my birthday in february, i'm derictly going to integrate this set in my LEGO town! I only have to mod the smity: other anvil, and get rid of that water wheel (i like the wheel btw, but i already made one by myself).

Yeah, in Tower raid (7037) the blue vlag waves in the opposite way. And i bought another one of this set; same problem with the flag! I didn't know there was an error with the shields. The dwarven roundshields have the opposite colours, but i guess that isn't an error...

maybe a bit, but how would you suppose how a LEGO cow looked like? It's just the same thing as with the giant Troll/ogre; kinda duploish, but still very nice! I'm already happy the chicken, the rooster and the duck are brick build, i think a mould wouldn't be a good idea for those animals...

I was hesitating a bit between trash and ISC, but finally i voted for ISC because of it's space for buildings and his (little bit of) asymetrical. It all sounds like a cool thing to build! I can't wait to see the result!

Yeah i know, but it just looked so nice! I'm more for the looks of a MOC, not if it would actually work or not. But maybe if an orc is stuck in the blades, and the driver has to turn the blades the other way? Then those two opposite ones are useful!

Thanks for all the kind comments, guys! Yea, i have some others laying around, and it's quite usefull in a catapult MOC where i'm working on. It looks a bit like this catapult. It isnt that hard to copy, except the canon. If u want i'll make some fotos of the canon design

It's actually not a halberd, but a pike (not the fish ). This is a halberd.

Good review If the battlepack had instead of one of the knights one soldier extra, it would've been much more interessting to me, because this is a 3/2 ratio: for every 3 soldiers there are 2 knights. That doesnt really make sense to me

A nice MOC, however it looks always "different" on LEGO creator. I agree with DJ Force, it doesnt look that medieval. However, I would definitely buy it, if it was a lower price...
