There's 35 spaces you can dig in, and it really would go faster if more of you had shovels (that's why I put them up for sale at the souk). Besides, if watching darkdragon dig gets tedious, you can always return to the beach later to continue where you left off. Or would you rather want everything handed to you in a silver platter? "You arrived to Salmanda, found all the items and got back just in time to save Zelda. Congratulations!"

Heroica RPG - Quest#15: Hoisting Down the Jolly Roger

The party decides to return inside, and turn right from the next intersection. However, there seems to be another group of pirates just around the corner, consisting of four pirates and a parrot. The pirates from the shack have now reached the door as well, so the party is caught between a rock and a hard place. If they stay put, the pirates running down the hall will spot them, but if they turn the corner they will have to face the group ahead of them. Which group of pirates will they face? -
For the first time in the history of this game we have more available quests than available players. So all you people who have joined this game but never gotten on a quest, now is your chance! Due to this unprecedented circumstance, the sign-ups for the three open quests will extend to January, but if any of the quests get enough players to fill the spots before that, the QM can decide to close the sign-ups prematurely. Since Quest #8 is coming to an end, there's at least some players who'll be free to play...
-
~Two new quests have been posted on the Questboard (#21 by cralegoboy and #22 by Bricksandparts)!~ ~The sign-up period for all three open quests have been extended to an indefinite date on January, although the Quest Masters can in this case end the sign-ups prematurely if they get enough players.~

OoC: My stats are correct as well. Ellaria smiled at the rogue. "I'd be honoured to carry the scroll for you, Mr. Gibbin. I hope I can put it to good use." Hearing this made Ellaria a little suspicious. She pursed her lips as she contemplated on what to ask next. "It would be easier to catch these miscreants if we knew what kind of crime they have been involved in. Are they skilled in combat? Are they sneaky and elusive? Do they use magic or have clerical abilities?"

If the party decides to return inside, they need to specify which direction they will continue. OoC: Please be decisive, for the sake of advancing the quest. -
OoC: I won't allow it. There's no point in just allowing you to "dig everywhere", since the purpose is to make you spend time digging. Nope, nothing. Digged locations: B3 - nothing B4 - nothing C2 - nothing C3 - Anchor C4 - nothing Bartholomew finds all sorts of tracks on the sand. Footprints, pawprints, and tracks left by various little critters such as ants, beetles, crabs and indeed scorpions. Where do they all lead is impossible to say.
-
I've been to Florida twice, so I know. I would if I could, trust me.
-
OoC: No, the monsters stay put. Again Cinna digs and finds nothing. Digged locations: B3 - nothing B4 - nothing C2 - nothing C3 - Anchor
-
I wish we had that in my country... Honestly, during this time of the year we have sunlight for about six hours per day, and even then it's mostly blocked by the clouds and rain. Damn this rotund planet! Luckily my situation has improved now that I got a new lamp here in my study, so I can now take pictures during the dark hours as well. Previously my quest could be held back just by the fact that I did not have adequate lighting to take proper pictures.
-
Nothing comes up. Digged locations: B3 - nothing C2 - nothing C3 - Anchor
-
As Cinna hits her shovel to the ground, she instanty hits something hard. She discovers a buried anchor from the ground. "Hey, that looks like something I could use!" Shrugging her shoulders, Cinna hands the anchor to Bluto. Anchor - WP:6, suitable to dream sailors

Heroica RPG - Quest#15: Hoisting Down the Jolly Roger

The party opens the door, and finds themselves back on the beach. The door is the same one they ignored upon arriving on the island. The shack lies straight ahead, and muffled voices can still be heard inside. Suddenly the party hears several BOOMs coming from the other side of the island, and then alarm bells start ringing. The Bonaparte fleet has started its diversive attack! The party sees the door of the shack open and six pirates climb down the ladder onto the sand. The group heads towards the doorway that the party stands in. Will the party face the approaching pirates in battle or return inside and find a place to hide? -
Cinna digs and digs, but finds nothing. Where will she dig next?
-
OoC: Remember that in that case she would have to battle any monsters that she digs up alone.
-
OoC: You can always return to the Souk to buy more. I will allow a trip back to the city during this night, but if you return to the beach, it will be day again.

The party goes through the door on the opposite side of the room, and come to a narrow hallway. To their right they see a large wooden door that can be opened from the side they are on. There are dividing corridors on their both sides. Which way will the party continue? -
~FIRST NIGHT IN SALMANDA~ When the party arrives to the Shipwreck Shore, it is already dark. The first night in this strange land has fallen upon them. The party has already gotten its hands on a crystal chalice, but all the actual ingredients are still missing. Hoping to catch a Golden Scorpion here at the beach, the party starts searching their surroundings. There are much debris from wrecked ships stranded on the beach, earning the place its name, but there is not a creature in sight. Knowing that the scorpion tends to hide, the party must dig the sand to find it. Who knows what else will pop up? The party can only dig on the dark tan tiles that have a visible stud, and only party members who have a shovel can dig. Which coordinate does the party want to dig first?

OoC: The 20 gold is actually Erdathcath's gold that was stolen by the pirate, but of course you as a party leader can choose to divide it as you see best. I just don't know if The_Customizer appreciates that move. OoC: Of course, my mistake. You were automatically revived with 1 health. With the pirates gone from the room, the party can either return to the dining room, go through the door on the opposite side or climb up the stairs. What is the party's chosen action? -

Ellaria walked to the Questboard to see if she was chosen into the quest she signed up, and indeed she was. She saw Alexis walking towards the board as well, so she waved and grinned at her. They would embark on a mutual adventure once again! As Ellaria turned back to ensure her name was there, she noticed a small error on the list of chosen players. She was marked as a Level 11,5 Cleric when she knew she was already at Level 12. Tutting by herself she wrote the correct number on the list.
-
OoC: Soo.... You want to go to the beach, then? I need more decisiveness here, guys!
-
That's exactly the philosophy I've followed in my quests.
