Wow, that is good. That must have taken a long time to make!

My Opinion This is an interesting MOC. I have not seen a mix in genres yet in the entries. I see you have 3 star wars, a rock raider, a knight, 2 armada guards and only 1 pirate? The contest is to have pirates doing their thing, like killing, looting, or being mean in general. I think have the wrong idea or you are just short on pirate bricks. There are some things in your MOC that I like. The dock is cool with the loose planks of wood and the island. The water is nice. The boat is a nice addition. I especially like how you used your head to make a sail, since you had no sails. Nice thinking and creativity. Improvements if you choose 1) In your description, you used names like "Mossy Isley", trying to recreative a star wars scene in a sort of piraty theme. Again, a pirate contest, not star wars. 2) I only see 1 pirate in this whole contest entry when the contest is for pirates. Also, you put knight helmets on armada guards intead of their normal hats. 3) I would follow the rules so I would not get kicked out of the contest. That would be a shame. Since this is a medium contest entry, the max should be 16x16. But I can't tell since your model is not square and has no given shape. 4) Add some more pirates since this is a pirate contest. 5) In your description, I would not use so much smiley faces. Overall- If you also listen to some of the other members that have suggested ideas, it could possibly be a better contest entry. Anyway, great second MOC and I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing

Good job with your pirate entry Rook! I see you have created a small island effect. I like it. The expression on the pirates face says, "I don't want to be on this island at all." Just to make it better, you add a little rat. I like how you created the water and sand. Exellent! I am amazed how you fit all those this onto the little island including the palm tree. Is that a coconut that the pirate is holding? If so, mabye that is why the rat is looking at him in a funny way. Suggestions.) I was looking at your MOC and saw that it mostly is a funny scene instead of a piraty, blooding/ robbing scene. Maybe you could add a pirate head floating in the water with blood following it. Remember, I am not trying to be a critic, I am just trying to help you with your MOC. LegoKing

Great small pirate entry. It is great! I see you have put a girl tied up to the tree. Nice touch. Also I like how you tied the knock around the girl too. I assume these are suppose to be palm trees. I see the parrot sitting ontop of the tree. That is always a nice affect to make the scene more piraty. I like how you made it look like the imperial armada soldier was being burried by that pirate by only having his head there and the pirate shoveling more sand onto him. That pirates beard, is that custom made because it looks really cool on him. I see you used two horns to make it look like the tide is coming in and the expression on the pirates face fitting the incoming tide. Are the spiders suppose to look like crabs? Well, overall, you did a fantastic job on your creation and I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing

Opinion Ohh, ahhh, very nice MOC. I like how the lego minifig that is hanging looks like a person from the 1800's and like how you tied the knot the is hanging the lego minifig. Is that lego string or another kind of string? Also, the base is very creative. I like the tall pillar. I see you used caravan wheels to hold the chain together as bars so the prisoner. Nice detail on the prisoner, you put a skeleton head and arm to make it look like he is rotting and the red wire as blood. The black bird makes it even better because he is picking the flesh off of the dead body. Overall, this is a very cool creation for this contest and I would of never thought of this myself. Great imagination. Possible Improvements 1) Instead of having the base plate brown, maybe you could add some blue tiles so it looks like the guy is hanging over water instead of the ground. 2) You could change the color of the tall blue pilar to brown maybe. Overall- This is a great MOC with lots of detail. It is amazing how you have a guy hang and ontop of that, you have a guy chained in. Nice work Fat Tony Good Luck!! LegoKing

Good entry. It is pretty cool how used yellow pieces as sand and bow of a pirate ship as a cave for the islanders. Nice use of barrels, making the trunk out of the tree using them. I like the monkey standing ontop of the palm tree with a banana. You also used a spider web with a spider on in. Spooky!!! Good use of details on the cave with the spiders crawling and a dragon arm used for a plant, smart thinking! In general, I like the battle scene between the Islanders and the Spaniards. In the back, the cage is a nice addition to the scene and the Spaniards capturing the islander with a net. The giant fire and all of the plants, flowers and blood, terrific! Nice decals. What kind of paper do you use to put the decals on the minifigs and how do you resize the decals to fit on the minifigs?

They are my own design. I think of the design as I paint. I do not draw it on paper. I use acrylic paint. Here is the thing. After I paint it. I clear coat it and wait a long time for it to dry. I also do custom orders. If you have any questions, press this contact me.
