The two ran ahead to see the remains of a group of droids. It seemed that the odd cosmic blast had been too much for their main power functions. When Jim looked up, he noticed that a hidden door had been revealed, the edges of the entry way just outlined slightly. He consulted Adam, who suggested that they blow it down. They gasped when they saw what was inside. Oh, my! CLIFFHANGER!!! I hope no one's ticked about this one.

You see, that blast was megablocking powerful, and remember the "cosmic disturbance"? This was a replica of that. Also, just a reminder, put it in an alternate color.

I was perusing the new contest thread (which shows the prizes-awesome!), and I posted the "Pirate Grin" emoticon. The grin came up on the screen, but when I go over it with my mouse, it says, "Pir-Laugh 2". I had even typed :pir and then grin: in! Give it a try- put your mouse over the grin!

The clank of droids was stopped by a deafening sound, a high pitched screeching and a flash of light, coating Adam and Jim with a strange feeling. "What the heck was that?!" Jim gasped? Adam coughed. He knew what it was- he had seen it on the Republic's database. "Time travel- something- or someone- has traveled through time." Little did he know, it was worse than anything he could imagine... I'll fill you in later, if I can- Hinck might ban me!

MacK's freighter landed at the coordinates that Adam had given them. However, they had landed in a blank stretch of snow and ice- no facility, no CIS base. Jim frowned. "I thought that you said we were going to the facility? Where you were kept?" "Just wait," said Adam as he hopped out of the ship. Jim nodded to the others and followed him out. "Where is it..." Adam mumbled as he tapped the ground with is hands. Eventually he came upon a large snowbank, and came up smiling. "Over here!" he shouted. When Jim came over, Adam tapped something on the ground. Instantly, where snow was half a parsec before, an invisible door was revealed. "They brought me in this way," Adam explained, "and since they don't want anyone to know that they have a hidden base over here, there's a lack of security. Any droids would give them away." With that, the two entered the facility. As they walked through the corridors, Jim quietly asked Adam a few questions. "How did you get out? Through the door?" Adam gave a silent laugh. "I blew up one of the generators. It made a hole large enough for me to crawl out, but I doubt that I can-" He stopped when they heard the clank of droids. Ohhh, cliffhanger! Edit: Dang, I meant the freighter! And the narrator measures time in nanoseconds, even if the people in SW measure it in parsecs. Just kiddn'.
