The Star Wars Comic Game-Season One
Adam replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Jim turned around once more to see Adam standing right there. "Where were you?" He exclaimed. Adam rolled his eyes. "Am I allowed to go to the bathroom without Mommy-Jim holding my hand?" Jim frowned and said, "You don't have to get smart with me! Now, where's the facility?!" Adam sighed. "I'm sorry I offended you, m'lord. The facility is about 208km south of here, then another 100 east. Not far. I believe it's in Sector... 12?" Jim checked the computer. "Yup," he said. "Let's go!" -
Thanks! Though it seems a little big...

ARGH!! Maybe you guys could of told me that!!! I had asked before, but no one answered! While Wouwie was gone, Adam took the perfect opportunity. He disappeared. -

Recently, on a trip to Morocco, I bought a fez. I it! It's the coolest hat I've ever worn, and I've worn it every day since I bought it, about three weeks ago. Has anyone encountered a LEGO fez that a minifigure could wear? I'm going to make my sigfig, and it must have a fez!

This has been moved to the Wargames and Mafia Games forum, and been pinned! Also, since Annix is a prisoner of the CIS, how can he be on MacK's ship? Next post will include photos. Adam turned to Oky Wan and answered his question first. "Those that they are mutating started with random nobodies, people wihtout real influence that are easy to take. However, more disapearances began to appear within the Republic's ranks. We believe that captured soldiers are tested upon, and by what happened to me, that is probably true. Jim," he said, looking now to Jim, "Where are we going? Before I answer that, let me tell you something that you have no doubt been wondering about." Adam proceded to tear the skin off his arm, revealing a network of machinery. "Very little fluid runs through these tubes, so when I loose blood there, it pretty much fails." Jim let Adam continue, but he wondered, How did he lose his arm? "Now, to where we are going. Our location is a hidden base on Felucia, the planet with strange vegetation." Loken made a quick mind jump and said, "So we're going there to fix your arm and... because of the strange foliage..." Adam nodded. "My superiors believe that the mushroom part of the serum comes from Felucia." How is everyone with this? How do you spell "Felucia"? -
What baddies would you like to see in a new Space Police line?

Erm... I believe it was specified before that "Blacktron" held both Blacktron AND Blacktron III. Oops. -
(OOC: I'm back! ) Hmmm... everyone is voting for Carter with no real evidence against him. The only reason you all have is that he, "seems like he could be a Baritone, being a newspaper editor". Before I condem him I'd like to dig up a little more proof that he is in the mafia. So, while I wait, and since everyone has voted for James Carter, Vote: Leeee!!! Now, in an effort to communicate with Ivan: Ivan, wuut luench specials duu youu haf? Mer impertently, wuut were yer actiuns at the tyme of de merder? And Neal, Lemme guess- you and Veronica were having a little... special time? Iris, how does 8-ish sound? Dinner? I know you're not a flooooooozy!
-
I'd like to see it, then. NOW. Also, NO ONE is gonna blame the Italians, or they've got me to face! Also, IS's Ivan's restuarnt has the only best food in town! Do you want to lose that? Do you think that I'm good looking, Iris I have no idea what I'm saying? Then you're right wrong! (OOC: Sorry for double post, but I'm going to be at work for the next few hours, so while I'm gone... Play nice! ) *puts arm around sobbing Iris* (OOC: IS, I'm flattered at your early entry. You'll get first pick. )

I don't see me in my room. (OOC: Sorry, I was confused and forgot my previous post. I've had a busy work day, and I'm pooped. Pooped. So, sorry 'bout that.) Alright, here's the story: I was writing the note in my room, and I got hungry. So I walked to the resturant, continuing to write it as I walked. I heard the shots, and came 'a runnin'. Now Neal, some questions: 1. Why have you assumed the role as investigator? You're the cameraman. 2. Can you stop picking on me? It's hard being a writer personal trainer! 3. What time is it? 4. Do you have any Fabuland items for me know how to get a discount on tax returns? 4. Where were you- EXACTLY- at the time of the murder? Can Veronica vouch for you at the time of the shots? 5. Can we inspect that camera? Who knows what footage could be on it. 6. Will I be interviewd? Because, if I am, my right side is my good side. Always want to impress Iris respect the community with good looks.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I was giving you plaudits on the depth you added to the story. Am I that mean? Also, I'll do as you requested. Now, MacK is kept. Also, I'm in favor of people being able to join. And where exactly ARE we going, Jim? Or do I make that up? -
Well, you see, I wrote the note while walking to the resturant (it was about lunchtime), and, when I heard the shots, ran towards where they came from. A large amount of people saw me running to the scene, rather than away from it. So I sort of have an alibi, though it's not absolutely iornclad. What about Ms. Tax-Return-Freak? You're not picking on her! Why me?
-
I was alone, walking, writing a love note for Iris.

Imperial Guard, your Brickshelf folder is not yet public. It can take some time for it to get moderated, so I suggest that you deeplink some images (if you don't know how, check out the deeplinking tutorial in the Index) for us before then.

Very informative post! If no one objects, I will answer Oky Wan's question in my next post, and then MacK will die in a selfless act of glory and grenades. -
Lets thank ImperialShadows for his wonderful contributions

He actually isn't a "Darth", he just refers to himself as one because he want's to be one. But fine, let's just do everything that YOU wanna do! Post being edited. -
So far, the only one who knew for sure that they were undercover FBI agents is the mayor. Also, there ARE children in Moonlight- I actually spoke on Veronica's expose! My part was about the purpose of everyone's role with the kids, and how their jobs should aid them.
-
FBI Agents! How could these... these... fiends know?! We must bring them to justice at once! We need to comprise a list of who might of had any affiliation with secret agents, for that is the only way they could find out. Perhaps the resturant owners had served them? Or were they seen in the warehouse? Did they perhaps consult a retired newspaper reporter? Did they have issues with their tax returns? All must be found out! The murders must be in the crowd or hiding near, for they could not have fled that quickly. We need a list of everyone in that group! PRONTO!
-
They can sign up for the next game, which, as far as I know, is my Fabuland one. For the story, go here.. It will be released Christmas time, and the rules are coming soon.

The group found me on Hoth, and I explained a bit about a serum and the time machine. Then, we saved Easy 501, hopped in a Gunship, and are heading towards MacK's frigate. The AT-AT is from the future. That was the "cosmic disturbance" I mentioned earlier. Jim immediately shut down Wouwie's suggestion. "Pfft! Getting backup?! No time for backup!" So the group set off to MacK's frigate, and once on board, a conversation began. "I'm agent 2734, or Adam, for the RSS's DCU (Deception and Commando Unit). No, I am not a clone; each agent is given a tag number, and that's mine. In short, we believe that the CIS is creating a mutant army because the mutant's DNA structure is the only living tissue that can pass through the time machine. Since the humanoid members of the CIS officials wish to lead the attack, the serum was necissary. The "cosmic disturbance" was the appearence of the large AT-AT. When it came from is unkown. I was sent to Hoth to do more research, and had myself captured by the CIS. We know that the time machine is working, and the CIS is almost ready to send some people through. The operation is lead by General Grevious. This, added to what I told you before, is all we know. After reporting to my officals earlier, they ordered that I assist your mission in locating the time machine and stopping the CIS from ever using it." How's that? Everyone OK with it? -
Where's Tom? I don't hear his bike. Also, Iris, how does tonight, 8-ish sound?

Thanks! If I can get that (with minfigures, I hope), then I'd be willing to offer a trade or a reasonable price for it. Just PM me with the information.

Name: Toa Hordika Whenua Theme: Bionicle Specific Theme: Metru Nui Set Number: 8738 Sale Price (USD): $9.00 Pieces: 48 Realise Date: 2005 Whenua, along with his multiple Toa companions, were the first to introduce a few new playability mechanisms- specifically, the mobile arm and disk launcher. Realised in 2005 as part of the Hordika subtheme, Whenua was the rough and tough "digger" Toa. Each previous Whenua set (with 8738 being the Hordika version), incorporated some form of digging, with 8728 including drill-hands. 8738 also appeared in Bionicle 2: Ledgends of Metru Nui, a computer animated film staring...... bionicles! Though Whenua, Metru Nui's Toa of Stone, was vital for the plotline of Hordika, the set itself was quite ugly. I collected Bionicles for a while, and never really liked them, except when they were really cool. However, this was not one of those sets- Whenua's torso is far too small, his arms too bulky, his drillshang off aquardly, and he has a slapped together feel. However, putting aside my obvious dislike for the Bionicle theme, I will try not to put any bias in my review. The Box and Instructions The front of the box- not much here, just an image of Whenua. The back of the box, showing features and compatibility with other sets. The back of the box shows how Whenua can be merged with his firery Toa friend, Vakama, and the multiple playability features of the set. This includes the disk firing mechanism (more on that later), how the disk, launcher, and Whenua can fit into the box, and the location of the club code. The front of the instructions- basically the same as the front of the box. The back of the instructions show three other sets and the Metru Nui DVD. A random instuctions page (page 13). The Build We start with the simple, black and silver torso: Then the two, identical legs are built: And those legs are added to the main body: Even now, you can see how out of proportion the whole thing will end up being. The legs are about three times the length of the torso, which looks odd, IMO. After the legs, we set to work on the arms. There's the normal arm... I like the drill-hands. IMO, they are pretty cool. ...And the arm with a turning effect: The mechanism is simple. You just turn the knob at the shoulder........ and the bottom part of the arm (the drill part) moves up! The effect is nice, but it makes the arm stick out more than the other, which is strange. Also, the moving part of the arm is rather large, and when on the finished figure, will fall soon after you turn the technic gear. The arms are added to the rest of Whenua: The current figure with the moving arm raised: As I said before, the arm will fall down quickly. And the finished product, Whenuah with his head: Now that Whenua is finished, you can see how odd he looks. The arms are too large, as are the legs, compared to the tiny body. The left arm also sticks out, which decreases even more from the overall set. A close up on Whenua's head and those beady, trans green eyes: And now, the second playability feature of the set, the disk launcher: You simply pull the thingy.... And the disk goes flying! (Yes, I did hold it in mid-air) When you tug the lever, it'll probably just spin, not fly off- it takes a good hard yank to get it airbourne, but when it is, it flies high. I had to hold the disk in the air for that last shot because I couldn't get a picture of it flying. Here's the mechanism without the disk and launcher, to see how it really works. You just put the stick in the slot, place the disk on the yellow pad, and pull: The Verdict Playability: 4/5- I have to admit, this set has some good functions Design: 3/5- It's bulky and out of proportion, but the drill hands are cool and the color scheme is nice Price: 3/5- For this 48 piece set, $9.00 is too much, IMO Overall: 3/5- And that's generous! It had nice playability, but it was UGLY The Brickshelf gallery (when public), is here. Thanks for reading!
