Just bought LEGO Pirates ''Loot Island'' (set 6241) Price lego.com 19.99 Euro Price most (toy)shops 22.99 Euro Bought it today at ''Kruitvat'' on discount. Only 12.99 Euro I don't think it's a great set, but I couldn't resist it with this amount of discount.

I wish TLC would release creations like this.

Price: $10.99 USD at TRU A waste of money in my opinion. You need to stay open minded but LEGO offers the best products and service I believe.

Before my dark age I threw the boxes away, the instructions just dissappeared. I was so upset about that after my dark age, I keep the boxes under my bed now. The instructions are placed in a showmap. So they´re kept in a great condition. It´s a waste if you throw the boxes (and instructions) away!

I bought this set a couple of months ago (2nd hand). I realy like it. Lots of weapons, 2 nice figs and a nice flag. It looks great, and the hidden space inside it is something great for the size of this set. One of the better sets Lego created. Fenrir

It's not that bad. You're just being happy with other things than Lego. My opinion is about LEGO is: Girlfriends are way more nicer to spend your time with than LEGO! I try to keep a balance in buying and spending time with LEGO compared to other things in life. So I only buy things I realy like, and only build on special occasions. ( LEGO is like art to me) It's strange but I spend more time on Eurobricks.com than I spend on LEGO itself.

Well, though I never owned one of the 80ies sets, I think they are better. What I realy would like to see from TLC now, is a realistic castle set. I do believe a lot of AFOLS ( and children ) would realy like a realistic big lego castle. (detailed like Cafe corner, Medieval Market village etc.) what do you think?

Anyway, Because of this there is 25% discount on LEGO Power Miners. And I received a 15% discount on all items for this weekend. I don't realy mind if they change the name, as long as they keep their great service!

I do sometime buy regular sets from S@H. (when I order some exclusives as well) In the Local shops you'll pay 10 to 20% more compared to S@H. So compared to the local shops the more expensive sets are cheaper on S@H (Inc. shipping, and you don't need to leave the house) Most internetshops are cheaper (even with shippingcosts) than both, but the Exclusive sets are more expensive at those internetshops. So, when I buy lego I buy or multiple sets at the Internetshops, Or some regular if I'm also ordering a exclusive set at S@H.

OR... Just go to Germany. In the bigger city's you've got warehouses like Kaufhof. (For example in Aachen, 35 km from Maastricht) In these warehouses they'll problably have more Lego compared to the Toystores in the Netherlands. And most of the time there are some pretty good deals.

HELLO, I saw there are some NEW lego Magnet sets. On the TLC homepage there is a Star wars and a Iniana Jones version. I'm sorry if someone asked this before but? - Are the minifigs glued? - Are the minifigs detachable from the brick they're standing on? - Were is the magnet placed, in the minifig or the brick it's standing on? I can imagine someone asked this before, or this information is easy to obtain. Somehow I couldn't find it. I hope someone can help me. greetings, Fenrir
