Just great sets very well done.

There's somehow always a glass of Cola Vieux on the desk if I'm building a set...

Lego nerdy? Absolutely not People appriciate it if you say as an adult, I still like Lego. Most people don't dare to say what they realy think, feel or like. I typed nerd in the google images bar. guess what, no bricks in the first hits.... so Lego isn't nerdy enough.

It's strange, but I never play with it. I build it, look at it, admire it. but never play with it again.

I couldn't find the dots either. So I ordered one from a second hand site.

I had the same problem. It´s the crown thats the problem, if you put another crown on (from the Castle line) it stays on place.

My first acquisition this year Serie 3 the Elf. I realy like this minifig. Great detail.

Well, I think every Lego Castle line has it's great sets. My dark age ended with the coming of the Viking line. I loved it, but if it was released today I wouldn't buy most of the sets. Later came the Castle line, I like the Dwarf mine very much and the whole line as well. And it became even better with the coming of Kingdoms. ( A friend (not an AFOL) who played with 80ies sets said the Kingdoms line reminds him of the sets from the 80ies. Although I don't own any of the Knights kingdom sets, I can live with Set 8813 In the time TLC released the KK sets, all other themes weren't that great either in my opinion. I must agree with most of you about the evolution of Lego Castle. It's nice to see that most people share the same opinion about what they like and don't like in the Castle sets. Fenrir

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion

I had the same experience in Holland, no dots at all.... -
Very well done, I've been in Ebeltoft 2 years ago. (holiday to Denmark and visiting LEGOLAND) So it's nice to see a MOC of a building I've seen. You did an excellent job on this one. I'm just curious: I see your from Spain, so why did you do a MOC of an building in a village in Denmark? Fenrir

Just bought 2 sets online. Winter Village Bakery (set: 10216) I think it will look nice next to my Winter Toy Shop 10199( bought that one last year) And after months of doubting I finaly decided to buy the Imperial flagship 10210. just signed up for a VIP account on Lego.com, ( this month double points) so I save around 20 euro next purchase. I'm still in doubt to buy it or not. I think it looks realy nice on a shelf, but is it worth the €150,- ???? Fenrir

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion

Thank you for the pics. The one fig I realy love is the Elf. ( as good as the Spartan in series 2) The other figs are nice, But the ELF is the most wanted I believe. Fenrir -
3 more minifigs today - Spartan - Mime - Mexican Cant wait for wave 3 and 4 fenrir

I rather spend my money on sets instead of the coll. minifigs. The only one I realy couldn't resist was the Spartan. And that's the only one I've got.

How do you store your instructions?
fenrir replied to KartoffelViking's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Nice topic, I lost all my childhood instructions because I did put them in the same box as my Lego. They are all torn apart and ended up in a trash can. I regret this until this day..... SO From 2005 until now I keep them in a 'showmap'. I want to keep them in a good condition. Store your instructions as well as your LEGO. Fenrir. -

mmmm I think Black knights have the best sets. But I think Viking is the best subtheme, something complete different from what TLG released before.

Hello, The last Castle themes had beautiful chess sets: Is there a Kingdoms chess set on the way? FENRIR
-
Perhaps a little bit off topic, But the crown of my king from 'King's Castle' doesn't fit well. So is there a problem with all the sets TLC produces? Fenrir
-
I think TLC is doing great. TLC offers sets with most of the times these prices: (in EURO's) - 2.99 - 6.99 - 9.99 - 19.99 - 49.99 - 99.99 * this can be a bad thing too, because the designers are limited to this amount of money and bricks. The big castle from the Kingdoms line is looking great. I think the 6.99 and 9.99 sets are a great addition to the castle. (minifigs, a catapult etc.) So well done. ( Kingdoms line anyway) Fenrir

I recently bought both sets. I prefer the Battle of Alamut. I think the minifigs look better. (although fleshies) And there is much more detail in this set. I prefer the overall looks of the Battle of Alamut. don't know how long you can wait, I can post pictures of both sets next to each other in 2 or 3 days. (I'm on holiday now and the sets are in my car) Fenrir

Today I bought two great sets: - Kings Castle - The Battle of Alamut Fenrir
-
Here's another one: I'll buy Kingdom set 7946 Kings Castle anyway. I don't want to spend too much on LEGO ( may sound stupid on a LEGO forum) So should I buy Set 7947 Prison tower rescue OR Set 7573 The Battle of Alamut? what's your opinion? Fenrir

Guarded Inn, I own 2 original ones. I think this is the best set lego ever created. It has a clever design, It's fun to built and it looks realy good.
