Best set ever?????

It would be strange to log in as fenrir on eurobricks, and dislike this set...... This set was the end of my dark ages, the wolf is well designed, I remember seeing the Lego Viking and felt a rush go through my veins. the only thing i don't like is the shield. I like this set *(just like all the Viking sets)

When I was 13 I went out with friends. so somehow I never bought, or played or collected lego for some years. untill, in 2005 I saw a Lego Viking set in a store, and fell in love again with Lego. I was 19 at that time and had a girlfriend. And somehow had some problems with myself about being ''too old'' I'm glad my girlfriend accept my hobby, and always builds with me when I bought a new set. I Like those days in a hotel room, with some Cola Vieux and a great Lego set......

The best set ever, Vikings are nice to look at, and the new dwarf mine is realy cool. But nothing compares to the Guarded Inn (6067). Best LEGO set

I was about to order 2 castle advent sets today. Think I'll still do, I think it's cheaper to replace the parts than to make the entire party come back and reproduce it.

Nice review, I like the pic-reviews on Eurobricks. I own this set and don't realy like it. The minifigs are nice, but I don't like the assault wagon itself. There is too much open space in it, and the wheels are awfull. The Viking wagons are much better than the ones in the Castle theme. The Viking wagons wheels are grey, and more balanced in the overall design.

Thank you for the review and the pics. I own one, and even think this is one of the best sets LEGO ever made.

I'm just back from a holiday in Denmark. I went to a store and found 7029 Lego castle skeleton ship attack. ( limited edition) was 700 DKK now 300 DKK. (300 DKK = +/- 40 Euro) I also went to LEGOLAND and had a VOUCHER. Could spend 150 DKK (20 euro) in the Legoshop for free. \ I like it.

I realy feel sorry for all of you living in America. The castle advent callender is perhaps one of the best sets this year. Now you have a lot of shipping costs, if you'll buy it in Europe. at the other hand, I have a suggestion. Why don't you ship, say 20 advent callenders. split the shipping costs with other buyers, and perhaps you'll end up with a great set for not that much money. ( order 40 good wizzards as well)

I think this has to do with the law in America. but the strange thing is, TLC could easily print the choking hazard on the boxes. I ( in Europe) heard that America needs to put warnings on everything, like: watch out, coffee is hot. on the cups. knife is sharp and that you can't put a dog in a microwave to dry it, that kind of stuff. Somehow you can sue a company in America if that company doesn't warn for the hazard. I can imagine a company doesn't want this.

A discount system....makes sense

I believe TLC is better. When I compare Lego with Megablocks I believe Lego is a much better product. (quality) perhaps that's why Lego is more expensive.

There´s a lot of speculation going on about what the LEGO advent calender will contain. I´m sorry if someone posted / noticed it before. When you open a larger picture of the Lego Castle advent calender, I believe you can see on the top of the box what pieces this set contains. Fenrir

Hello, Today I saw some instructions on the internet. On the last page of these instructions on the corner of the page are some Points printed. (The bigger the set, the more points you get) A lot of the sets from 1993 had these points I searched the internet but couldn't find the purpose of these points. So do one of you know what the purpose was of those points? thank You fenrir
