  1. My zorex is fine, and the issue with the track doesn't really bother me, just make little corrections n that while driving... And I used the 8878 rechargeable battery
  2. That's interesting jurgen...will you be releasing the changes as like a "patch" or as a complete rebuild? And will those with the instructions for the old ones need to purchase the new ones or can we get the free? ;)
  3. Thanks..I think...don't mean to be rude legomania94, and I appreciate the fact that english isn't your first language, but I realy do have trouble understanding what you mean/want most of the time, I'm sure many others do to...if you could try and check your posts make sense before posting, it would make life alot easier... Failing that put your posts in your native language and tell us what it is so we can google translate it... Thanks
  4. Yes one track is slightly slower, as it's to do with the axle going through the slew ring I believe, and there's nothing that can be done to rectify it as I understand... Speak to jurgen for more info
  5. Wow thanks jurgen, appreciate that...might take some time, I don't be alot of time to build with work n I got some personal stuff going on At the moment but il try n let u know how it goes...
  6. Thanks alasdair, it's one I had considered and one I will most likely look to use, I'm just not sure if it will be wide enough for the beast seeing as I worked it out to be a whopping 22 studs wide...
  7. Hello guys and gals hope we are all doing well! So my question is this... Having built one of if not the most awesome rc models; the zorex 220 by the genius that is jurgen, and having moc'd that to have the 42006 scrap grab, I got to thinking.... What it needs now is a truck and trailer to transport it on... Does anyone have any tips for building a suitably stable and practical trailer given the size and weight of the thing I've nicknamed the beast!? And a tractor cab to pull it? I have been toying with the idea of turning 9397 logging truck into the tractor cab, but not too sure where to start when it comes to shortening the chassis, building a working 5th wheel and the trailer itself... I've seen some stuff on brickshelf like twoofives trailer for example, but any advice from people who have made something like that Thanks in advance guys, your geniuses in your own right ;)
  8. Hmm interesting track design, not seen many like it before...how effective are they?... Can't wait to see finished thing!!
  9. Look at equipment made by Volvo, caterpillar and others for those in grey....and even takeushi make their mini excavators in light grey... I think the construction equipment may be in yellow as the two manufacturers JCB and Caterpillar, as well as Komatsu for that matter produce their equipment in yellow in real life... But I think some nice read and white like O&K or white like Bobcat would be nice :)
  10. Awesome sariel, you never fail to amaze and surprise :) well done
  11. As above...awesome piece of engineering there D3K, definitely worth making instructions for... I'd love to add that to my collection...
  12. I'm in agreement with dhc6, it's expensive but worth it
  13. Well done effe, looks like a design I could use for a low loader for my zorex 220-pf
  14. Yeah I understand that, but in my opinion they look quite flimsy in this model is all...
  15. How ironic, I was thinking of asking you the same alasdair... Do you hav any pics of it or suggestions for a simple grab that would work using the one from 42006 if possible? Thanks, it's appreciated
  16. Lol @ davidmull....I think it's a nice looking set actually, though I'm not a fan of the stabilisers, il probably mod them to be more like the ones on the 8285 so they will actually provide some stability
  17. @ DLuders, thanks for that. @ Blakbird, cheers mate appreciated.. Have finally finished the build now, cept I'm waiting on the battery pack and pf lights I ordered from WASSERMANS shop...
  18. Cheers alasdsir, shame I can't still get euro bricks to accept my pics, still saying they too big even tho they resized...
  19. Thanks blakbird....what's the allowed size for pics posted?
  20. Just a quick update, managed to get cracking on with the model build tonight, and despite some frustrating hunting through my old lego supply, I managed to get to building the whole bottom section before I ran into a problem...I'm still waiting on parts from Germany to arrive... Plus waiting on a 8878 batt box from WASSERMANS shop as well as the PF lights and a number of other parts... I would post pictures but my iPad only takes big pictures... G
  21. Thanks Kwon, fingers crossed most of my parts will arrive today and I can start putting it together
  22. So, I decided I'd take the plunge and attempt the zorex-220 build from the uber designer that is Jurgen Of JTC... And so I bought his instructions and after spending almost 7 hours sorting out my spare parts and realising that I had to cannibalise my 42006 and my modified red excavator ( the one with the weird dipper set up from like 2009, I forget the set number) I discovered I had about 90% of the parts... A few stops to some parts sites and a stop by WASSERMANS shop as recommended on here for a 8878 rechargeable batt pack, once my orders arrive il be in a position to start building it.... Il upload some pictures as and when I'm building, but however, can someone help with picture sizing guidelines etc to keep me out of the Mods firing line please... Word of warning on the upcoming build...I'm not a stickler for sticking to certain colours, so I'm just prewarning you guys, I know some of you are purists and pick up on tiny details ;) so be warned! Take care guys :) Gareth
  23. I know exactly what you mean, it's tough on those of us who work there and can't even get hold of the reduced stuff...its cos it's coming up to the new catalogue which should and I emphasise should have the 2nd half of the years new models in it.
