  2. That's it exactly! Thanks and God Bless, Nathan
  3. Just recently about 1 in say 10 posts is appearing blank. This gets really annoyin when I'm trying to follow a thread... any particular reason? Thanks and God Bless, Nathan
  4. The old yellow or the new yellow? ; ) God Bless, Nathan
  5. Well generally I like the water to flow over the top of the mountain.. rather than just a tunnel emering, but that is much harder and requires more pieces. My current project is just about ready to have its waterfall added. God Bless, Nathan
  6. To be fair I should state the #1 flaw with large MOCs (in my limited experience of 2 ; ) is sorting the parts back into bins when you're done... God Bless, Nathan
  7. It is good to see new themes made from non-custom adaptions... I always admire the skill involved in taking a fig from one theme to another... God Bless, Nathan
  8. I think it is easier to use castle parts/printed piecesfigs etc in pirates than vice-versa... that said you will spot many pirate figs in my castle MOCs (without futuristic weapons of course). God Bless, Nathan
  9. A really nice MOC! I must admit the rigging layout is even more impressive than the ship itself (which is nice in its own right...). The Sail layout is one of the main factors that keeps me away from ship MOCs... God Bless, Nathan
  10. Nice intro Phes... very thoughtful of the armarda to post enlistment instructions ; ) God Bless, Nathan
  11. Nice work! I like the yellow head and peach glove combo... a very good reuse (rescue) of SW parts! God Bless, Nathan
  12. "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition"... seemed vaugely appropriate ; ) God Bless, Nathan
  13. I like the large crossbow... I can't spell it's real name due to tiredness and lack of education... God Bless, Nathan
  14. A good Moc to build from! Waterfalls are always great! God Bless, Nathan
  15. Well.... Personaly, dreaming of the ever more perfect ever bigger MOC is what keeps me building... I am always building a section of my pefect MOC (which would be huge). I have plans for numerous large models I don't have anything like the collection to build, waiting around. But in defence of the large MOC: -Cliffton was up for about 2 weeks, Turner's cross for a month and a bit do to a camera problem. Both are larger (though not as skillful) as the ship pictured. Niethher gathered much dust before I was reusing the pieces. -I oohed and awed and took apart fairly quickly -After taking pics I let several kids (fam and friends) run wild over both Mocs -A large MOC IS a variety of small ones. And, personally, I think MOCs look better next to each other, for example in this this pic the building is my personal best ever small tudor shop.. but it looks much better in the context of the street... -Not all large MOCs are made of custom ordered/never useable again pieces... that's the beauty of Lego.. you can always recycle it! God Bless, Nathan
  16. I give it a 3 as I liked castaway's better... less custom built, more emergency looking, more barrels (I always need more), more simple looking, far less likely to tip, and far,far better priced, also I have the box of cast away's and that is pretty rare in my collection... I could be biased by the fact I couldn't afford this set in 93 and by the time I tracked it down it seemed a little small... God Bless, Nathan
  17. A nice setup.. you're building facility is bigger than mine! God Bless, Nathan
  18. Much as I hate to admit any knowledge of what is generously described as KK2's storyline... The old guy from the citadel morphs when Jayko is going to attack him. It was in a lego club mag... God Bless, Nathan
  19. I prefer all the prototypes (esp the squid) except for the giant thingy... God Bless, Nathan
  20. Is that classic set really still available? Nice find btw very marry poppinsish... God Bless, Nathan
  21. I can't see much from the pic but I would like a better view of the ladder thing on the right... God Bless, Nathan
  22. A nice find...prob a polybag... under normal castle line circumstances I would be much more interested ; ) God Bless, Nathan
  23. I'm not a train collector by any means... (I have 2) but these new ones don't seem as back-pg-glorious as the ones I couldn't afford as a kid. Is that just me? God Bless, Nathan
  24. The creator sets look good... any word on the new vikings yet? Thanks and God Bless, Nathan
  25. If it comes with a bat lord helmate or KK1 helmate than it is in one of these lists... start looking: Fright Knights, KK1. God Bless, Nathan
