Thanks all! Your comments are much appreciated as I'm so new to this scale.
Just to clarify the 'trans blue thing' is a fish tank. See my first post...
God Bless,
Nathan
I've wanted that for ages... Had it in my hands once on sale, but didn't have the money, still haven't been able to find one at a *decent* price...
God Bless,
Nathan
Hey all:
And this is my latest MOC, Mark's Pad:
(click and come in...)
A nice place to chill with a Wide Screen TV, Loft Bed, Ultra Modern Fish Tank, and Quasi Trendy Futuristic Coffee Table...
Enjoy!
God Bless,
Nathan
BTW I am still working on the second installment of my MOCtale, but it is my first ever Bricklink dependent MOC and a few pieces are proving stubbornly hard to come by... at an appropriate price for an Irishman...
Playmobile's scale is so much more compatible with natural elements it is unfair in diorama terms... Of course if lego worked better outside scenery builder's would be a little obsolite ;-)
God Bless,
Nathan
Most creative: Phes without a doubt! And I'm not just saying this to lure him castle side X-D
Best overall: Sir Nadroj nice story, great face, not old is a nice touch as well...
Workshop: Athos, simple and sweet
God Bless all,
Nathan
This is the most insulting theme list I've ever come across... ;-)
Welcome anyway, there are those who build and those who build castle....
God Bless,
Nathan
Sad???!!! How so??? The glory days of lego were all pre license, the demise into financial ruin and junky sets began with the change of focus into licenses and arguably the improvement of lego in recent years has to do with becoming less license reliant...
God Bless,
Nathan
And lets not forget how this fits into the bley debacle/conspiracy... SW pushed kids into buying sets which were basically just a hunk of grey... this led to focus group complaints.... this led to the need to o something about the grey.... and the rest is too painful to mention X-D X-D X-D !
A nice new direction for the WW. I ended up with a quazi mexican storefront when building a medieval marketplace years ago, but you rarely see deliberate efforts in this area ;-) .
Nice work!
God Bless,
Nathan
Nice to see this MOC make it to EB ;-) The jetty is of course brilliant, as our many of the small details. I'm not 100% sold on the black, but you've made a better pitch than most X-D !
Thanks for sharing and God Bless,
Nathan
