Norro replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Yes!Yes!Yes! And off the plank with the 'no' voters... God Bless, Nathan -
My local TRU (in the states...one month to go...) had about 10 8873s. I bought one and was pleasantly surprised! Only 3 new grey pieces! God Bless, Nathan

Personnaly I would say lego should support brickshelf... and for fianancial reasons... I've introduced a lot of people to lego through my folder and I'm sure many others have done the same... God Bless, Nathan

PHOTO REVIEW - Vladek's Dark Fortress!
Norro replied to The Middleman's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks for going to all that bother... it looks better than I thought... Thanks again and God Bless, Nathan -
Just curious if I'm the only footy fan on here (I'm a Man U fan but am feeling a little low... first the lego colour change then the glazer thing...) anyways...back on topic, the game today was superb. I watched it with about 30 Liverpool fans who went from tears to tears (of joy :-D )... God Bless, Nathan

Personally I rank 6066 first because it is my fav set for the following reasons: -viewable from every angle (unlike 90+% of lego...) -6 figs in a small set -great concept -actually hidden (in a forestmen theme) -very playable with all those secret entrances.... I give 6071 second just because... and third would be 6077, it is nice but needs an interior and is too 'fortressy' to be a forestmen lair.... God Bless, Nathan

Could someone else pleaseee vote for 6066? God Bless, Nathan

???? :-D God Bless, Nathan

Well, They aren't new MOCs (and therefore weren't made in your 3 hr window...) but that aside the blatant rip off of my own work should easily double the penalty :-D .... God Bless, Nathan
-
Ahh yes, but I could probably do that for quite a few days considering I have three of these: Unfortunately, with an often hectic work schedule & a family, I do not typically have the time to work on MOCs... Some day though... :-D Life is Good. Right, looking at watch, I'll take one of the ones to the left this time :-D ...

You like to brag don't you? Well so do I!!! Just wait till I get a digital camera... Yes! I think we should penalize him ;) . Every show-off photo not followed by a MOC in, say, a 3hr grace window :-D compels him to provide me with a black falcon (from his ample supply :o ) and you with a pirate or cannon. What do you say? God Bless, Nathan

Personally, and this is just personaly, I enjoy landscape building most (with a building on it of course...) I find the new greys to be far to bright to be stone or rock and they clash terribly with green and old brown. So for my building needs it is grab the old.... God Bless, Nathan

That is a good list in itself... God Bless, Nathan

A quick update. It was a good sunday and after church I finished my castle... pics soon. God Bless, Nathan

Finishing touches are going on right now... My crummy photography shouldn't take too long, and then.... God Bless, Nathan

I have a small box of bley, but I'm boycotting the new colours. I think I'll just buy more old sets now... God Bless, Nathan
-
At least one of you is wrong :-D ... no sarcasim intended.... ;) God Bless, Nathan

Hey all, I finally got something in the mail... Some very rare, very coveted, very useful, very desirable: ...................................................Bricks!...................Yes! They're old grey, so that's good! God Bless, Nathan (creeping silently back to his unexciting, but very inspiring, purchase)

Ohhhh go on! God Bless, Nathan Vauge 'Father Ted' reference is probably subliminal ;)
-
Hi and welcome! I see that like me you prefer castle legos ;) .... or at least are collecting sets that are resources for said theme. Glad to see your quest for online lego activity brought you here :-D . God Bless, Nathan

I was just refering to the last rarer reference ;) , I knew what you meant... I also agree that the ITP is lacking structure... that is why I like Eldorado fortress better... God Bless, Nathan
