  1. Cheers for the review and God Bless, Nathan
  2. Nice review of a nice set, and while the need to dispose of skulls secretly is a little disturbing, I'll probably look out for this set ; ) God Bless, Nathan
  3. I am not a fan of pre fab lego, and really won't be using many pieces which are only available in bley, so this doesn't hold much for me. The even width will be good for younger builders, but against this I attribute many of my earlier building designs to accomodating the old odd widths. They were also much more convienient to overlap (and produce even angled walls...) God Bless, Nathan
  4. Very nice! Especially for a first venture into a new scale/style... also nice to see a fresh concept employed. God Bless, Nathan
  5. It seems your mans ideas had to be changed to fit existing piece runs. If you go back a few Brickjournals you can see the modified technique he had in mind (which would have suited the price point much better). God Bless, Nathan
  6. Very nice construction and design implementation. Some lovely details and a nicely compressed scene. Good work! Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan
  7. Cheers for the thorough review! God Bless, Nathan
  8. Please note my use of the word 'child'. Lego traditionally marketed technique to an older age range than system, as the pieces are transferred to system either system's age range should rise, children have become more inteligent in Lego's opinion, or alternate models are being built less frequently. The third option seems the most likely to me. I have always admired technique but I think it is less inspiring in a pile on the floor for younger builders than system bricks... God Bless, Nathan
  9. That ship is really eye catchingly gorgeous! Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan
  10. A great start! I wopuld suggest changing the natural rock to dark grey to differentiate it from the (presumably man made) harbour. The musket being loaded is especially well posed. God Bless, Nathan BTW Now I know where my halloween costume's head disappeared to...
  11. I assume from your comments that you are not considering the reuseability of the parts by a child to build something else part of the playability? God Bless, Nathan

Very nice work! I particularly like the angle of the tree! God Bless and thanks for sharing, Nathan
  13. Great work, I like the variety of expressions. I often wonder how he didn't drop the match... God Bless, Nathan
  14. Looking nice! Thanks for sharing! God Bless, Nathan
  15. Looks interesting though! Thanks for posting this! God Bless, Nathan
  16. I wouldn't mind technique in addition to regular system pieces, but the way it is currently effecting the piece counts (especially mars mission) is annoying me. I understand it makes the set look bigger but that doesn't help me Personally I have a tub of technique that is rapidly filling even though I never buy any specifically. It's a problem... Great topic btw. God Bless, Nathan
  17. A great price point for a nice bunch of figs and accesories. Pity about the fleshies though... God Bless, Nathan

Very nice. Great to see more lego pics being shared! God Bless, Nathan
  19. Gotta love the wake and the woodsmen camo face (amongst many nice details). Avery nice castle scene all things considered! Great work and God Bless, Nathan
  20. What is the postage like (anyone?). Also, I wonder which Smyth's will participate... BTW Thanks for the heads up! God Bless, Nathan
  21. I wouldn't mind some more of the alternate pattern, but Lego seemed to sell through the contaminated supply of 'the knight' very quickly... God Bless, Nathan
  22. Very nice! I like the landscaping and particularly the incased door. The whole MOC has a nice sense of scale and perspective and maintains a great 'Lego' quality. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan
  23. Very nice! Thanks so much for sharing! God Bless, Nathan
  24. I'm going to be honest and say I don't think you're quite there yet. But you've covered some brilliant ground so far! Very innovative and some nice ideas to take things in new directions... Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan
  25. A Spyrius update would be cool. Along similar lines to Blacktron II's twist on the original Blactrons... God Bless, Nathan
