Go rent Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It's hilarious. They're a group of people that wrote what are arguably the best comedic movies and TV show ever. You can't deprive Blackadder of its rightful place... God Bless, Nathan

You need nautical eye sight... :-D God Bless, Nathan

I had a fascination with this set once upon a time. I wanted it very badly. Then I got it and didn't like it as much. It didn't seem good value for its price. As I recall it was over A$25 to buy which is quite expensive for a mere 69 pieces. However 6270 Forbidden Island is bigger with a better assortment of pieces. So dare I say we jettison 6260 in favour of this one? With Rock Island Refuge that is a little heavy on the large pirate bases... 6260 only cost about 7 something us if I recall correctly and I bought a used one a while ago for $12... What are your 5? God Bless, Nathan

Why is LEGO so stingy with their mini-figures?

Check out some of his current auctions LEGO Pirate 6281 Pirates Perilous Pitfall LEGO Pirate 6250 Crossbone Clipper LEGO Pirate island 6279 Skull Island LEGO Pirate ship 6268 Renegade Runner I got all those sans Renegade Runner from him... You should his place dudes... LEGO all over EVERYTHING! I suppose you wouldn't mind 'picking up' any fellow eurobricks member's order either? ;) ;) ;) God Bless, Nathan

I didn't have time to write up about the shops originally, but the one pictured above is an Expedition Supply Store and the sign was my attempt at conveying a large ship in sign form... God Bless, Nathan

Just noticed that was your first post. Welcome! You can introduce yourself in the 'Hi I'm new' (or something like that) forum, and if you like castle feel free to look at Clifton Castle thread. (Forgive the shameless plugg :-D ). God Bless, Nathan

I'm glad you could tell it was a sausage machine :-D ! Thanks much. Furniture isn't a speciality of mine... This is my first serious attempt at any detailed pieces... So I am pleased it came off! The scenery is always my faviorite part (and normally the best). Though there isn't much BURP to it... ;) Thanks again and God Bless you all, Nathan

Just a thought... It seems lego have been advised to move towards more 'playable' 'hero' figs rather than background town/castle/generic pirates/western soldiers of the old minifig packs... They are focusing on individual figs not mass realism. A minifig pack of the four jelly-beans for example would leave people reluctant to buy the big set for the blue one... Whereas the old mindset just encouraged more buildings to be surrounde with basic figs.... God Bless, Nathan -
First up Thanks... It took just over a month and a half... and I can only guess at the number of pieces... somewhere between 30 and 40,000 probably. God Bless, Nathan

Well... I am reliably informed by my parents that after the age of 5 I never had another toy besides lego (it adds up). And in laster years I cut grass (measured in miles in the no-mans-land of Canada) and did some other outdoor work like limbing... that added more. But mostly it is just slow and steady... My collection actually isn't that big. That MOC drains it and most of the tubs are now near empty... God Bless, Nathan

I always start in this forum as well... Completely off topic: This post heading looked funny on the main page because of the cut off, it read 'Just In case anyone's f......' God Bless, Nathan

Hi all, I present Cliffton Castle: (pic=link to gallery) deeplinks at bottom of post : ) Cliffton Castle, known locally as the 'Castle of Three Trees' (all right, there are six trees if you want to be picky...), is an outpost of the great Black Knight Empire. It serves primarily as a heavily fortified beacon post but also has a small harbour front . Its name comes from Cliffton Lodge which once dominated the clifftop before the gradually expanding fortifications displaced it. Pics of the 20 odd interiors (with some location references) can be found here. And if you're really interested, my faviorite small details are in this folder (pic=link) Please let me know what you think... I normally include a few fun details but this time I can only offer you the chance to spot two cunning Wolf Pack raiders... Thanks for looking and God Bless, Nathan ohh... a few deeplinks: street, apple seller, Wayfarer's Inn Interior, and another street.
