  1. THX @Saberwing40k I´m using these templates for my LDD-Model. Good work. Greetz Markus
  2. Little render from my truck: Greetz Markus
  3. @hrontos Hey, which program do you use to render your models? Greetz Markus
  4. Hi, maybe like this ? Greetz Markus
  5. Higher than the A-Model, but not so high as the B-Model...
  6. Which do you mean ? The 8x8 or the 4x4 Model ?
  7. ...while waiting for the parts, i´ve made a version for the Lego Technic Challenge 2012. You can vote here for my model, if you wanna see this as official Lego Technic Set in 2013. http://technic.us.le...latest&index=37 Greetz Markus
  8. Yeah..... the first parts arrived me But as i said, this will be my x-mas gift for this year, so it will take a while to begin. Greetz Markus
  9. Thx very much , i´ve only found the service set with more parts. Now i´ve got all parts at brink link i need. Most i have ordered now. More, if the parts will arrived Greetz Markus btw. i´ve choosed the grey rims... This will be the final version, which i wan´t to build it
  10. Does anyone know where to find this Rocket Step at briklink ? Rocket Step 3x3x2 with cross - black Greetz Markus
  11. I´m excited too , but this will be my xmas present, so it will take a while to finish... Yes, i ´ll make pics and maybe a video. I will use the hard springs, but i also think that they will get flatter. If that happens i will maybe use another connectionpoint or other springs. @Bricktrain I´ve found a little mistake in the first version. You need to change something at the steering axle for the rear wheels. I´ll correct this this weekend and send you the new file then. Got a little question to you. This pic show´s how i want to build the truck. What do you think ? Black rims or grey rims ? Greetz Markus
  12. Ok, here´s a link to the online instruction manual. There you will also find the partlist at the end and a printable Version. I´m not very satisfied with the manual that LDD creates, but you will see what i mean. Online building manual for 8x8 TrailTruck I´ve ordered the first parts from brick link a few ago. I will build it in white. Have fun Markus
  13. Ok, you should be able to download the LDD-File for this truck here: 8x8 Truck v10 You´ll see that if you build the instruction in LDD; this is a very confusing step by step building..... LDD is not good for building instructions....
  14. Damn, what's about white ? The LDD-File is to big to attach here (181kb)
  15. Some more changings.... New position for the receivers and a cage for them. Also i´ve changed something at the steering part, to get different steering angle between the wheels on the front and same to the wheels on the back. I think i´ll try to build it in blue. Greetz Markus
  16. Ok, little change.... The Truck needs two IR-Receivers, cause it needs two different motor directions.
  17. Ok, time to compare: 1799 Parts Both trucks had the nearly same size cabin The trackwith is two studs more at the yellow one and the wheel angle is not so steep The whole truck is "flatter" The length is two stud shorter Think the best position for the Battery pack. Easy pull out from the underside. This version only uses one battery pack and only one IR receiver. I guess the truck is now more useful designed for trail, but i like the style also from the first version. Big thanks to efferman for his suggestion with the battery pack and also thanks to all other and their ideas. Last but not least: Which will be the best color for it ? Yellow? White? Black? Grey? Red? Orange? Green? Cool would be violet, but i don´t know if the panals are available in this color Does anyone know a good and free file sharer for the LDD file ? I would like to share it to everyone. Would be nice to see in RL. Greetz Markus
  18. Almost finished. I like the new version, look a little bit more "dangerous"
  19. Sure, i´ll share it, if the new version is finished
  20. Ok, endrun... The Chassis is ready. The cab should also fit in size and length, but need to positioned (not so easy in LDD)and some little corrections. Parts will be between 1800-1850 if finished. Hope you´re also satisfied with the new setup for gravity center and wheel angle. Greetz Markus
  21. Ok, i build it completely new. Not finished but good to see (thanks @efferman):
  22. Ok, so I´m trying to build it new with this setup. Thanks Markus
  23. Hi there, what du you think of this gravity center setup ? ..and this angle of the wheels ? Wheel distance is now 2 studs more. Greetz Markus
  24. I think i´ll re-design the truck a little bit these days. Trying to get the center of gravity a little bit more to the bottom (maybe only using one batterypack) and changing the angle of the wheels. For those who i´ve send the LDD-File an instruction; please wait a little bit for "update" Greetz Markus
