  1. Thx, but i really don´t know if this will works. What do you think ? Especially the angle for the track rods. Greetz Markus
  2. Hi there, no i wasn´t in the wild meanwhile ... But i´ve tried a new chassis setup with LDD. As you can see there is a XL-Motor for every axle, so it will need two battery boxes then. I´m not really sure if this will work fine. Just playing around a little bit, inspired by the 4x4 from Lego. What do you think about it ? Greetz Markus
  3. Hi and thx for your answers. I had a phonecall with LEGO here in germany and the person tolds me, that the HiTechnic HT is also able to receive PF comands. That´s the reason, why I asked here, cause I also think it won´t. Thx again and greetz Markus
  4. Hello, does anyone of you know if this IR Sensor is able to receive commands from PF IR remote ? Hitechnic NTX IRLink sensor Greetz Markus
  5. Merry christmas to all of you builders. Greetz Markus
  6. Hi there and merry christmas. Little post, what you get this year christmas. The 4x4 was one of my wishes, but i like the B-Model more than the A-Model. Another big wish was the NXT 2.0 Wish you all the best for 2013. Greetz Markus
  7. thx @ Gekke Ted & RedRoundRobot for the info and links. Greetz Markus
  8. I´m sorry, but atm I sadly don´t have the time to go into the wild and there´s too much snow out there Think it will take some time to get outside to test it. Greetz Markus
  9. Thx for the answer. Sadly I don't have a NTX (xmas will come...) But didn't the NTX have Bluetooth? I wonder why it is not possible to connect direct between iPhone and NTX like the App Legodrive. Greetz Markus
  10. Hi, sound very interesting to me. one question plz: Do i always need to run the "server" to control the NTX with iPhone ? That´s not clear for me. Greetz from Germany markus
  11. I´ve voted too, this is a really cool body. Like it much. Greetz Markus
  12. thx @ WilrickB & Feradin for the compliments. We´ll see how it will work in the wild Greetz Markus
  13. Back again Ok, i decided to use the knob wheels. Surprisely they run very smooth. My little daughter made the first "Trialtest" for me http://youtu.be/b6Bq7fRZk8s Seems to work well so far... Greetz Markus Little meeting...
  14. First thx for all the answers. I'm thinking about to use the knob wheels for transmission, not for steering. The steering of my 8x8 works really well with the bevel gears. Greetz Markus
  15. Hi folks, short question plz: Which is the better, more stable gear transmission? I guess the yellow, right ? Greetz Markus
  16. thx DLuders I live in Germany "Schwarzwald" (Back Forest)' so there's a perfect terrain to test. But atm it's raining too much.... Greetz Markus
  17. Ok, part 3.... I think I´ve finished the truck. Here are the pics. I use a LEGO wire extension for the back motor. I like the skull http://youtu.be/bmChYUL_g-o If I found the time these days, i will go into the "wild" for testing. Greetz Markus
  18. Haha, that´s true, really looks a bit like as RV Was not intentional. Ok, after a long night i´ve got the first results.... I´m not finished the chassis, but I was able to test the steering and drive speed (4x4 atm). Driving speed seems a bit to fast, but I´ll try another gear ratio at the portals with 8 tooth gear or another ratio at the motor. Steering: Works perfect. Very tight and precisely. Steering could maybe faster but ratio between motor and linear actuator is already 1:1 and i didn´t want to make it higher by the loose of torque. Building the chassis was a little bit more comlicated with the linear actuators, but all in all it´s possible Was to late to get the pics online this morning, so i will show later. Greetz Markus
  19. Good news, today I´ve received the last parts, so I can start building the truck with new steering system. Pics will follow then. Greetz Markus
  20. Thx for the Info hrontos. So i need to replace the missing parts manually if I want my model as LDraw file......damn Greetz Markus
