Hi there, i´ve got a question about the export function from LDD to ldr format. I export my technic model (aprox.1900 parts) from LDD to ldr file and open it for example with bricksmith. But there are so many parts missing then. Model in LDD Model in Bricksmith I believe all of the parts are in the LDraw library but it seems that they have maybe another number there. Is there an easy way to fix this problem ? Greetz Markus

First of all thx to all answers. I´ve tried Bricksmith longer time ago, but found LDD better at this time. Is it "easy" to setup an instruction with LPub / did you make ever one ? Greetz Markus

Hi all, i think all of you LDD users know, that the generated builing instructions from LDD are awful. Does anyone know a software to make better step by step building instruction than those from LDD ? For me, a Macintosh software would be fine, but Windows will be also ok. I found two sites for that, but nothing for LDD-files, only for LDraw. HelperPart LPub Greetz Markus

Ok, i think new design is finished. Here you can see the new steering and drivetrain system. Complete chassis Body is the same New door for batterie access In this version I need only one IR-receiver. So I need to order some other parts, befor I can build it new. Greetz Markus

OK, I´ll make the chassis completely new. I think the steering with the linear actuators will be very stable and tight. This is how it´s look like: And I also think about a drivetrain with lockable differential. Greetz Markus

Ok, you've got the "smallest"..... haha Back to Topic now. I think I will redesign the Chassis a bit to use linear actuators for steering. I've tried two different solutions now and none of them really satisfied me. Will take a time to get the Truck finished. Greetz Markus

Hi Paul202, it´s hard to say how much all parts cost. Depends on some factors. If you order only new parts (like me) you have to calculate between 200 - 300 € (if you need all parts). But i guess it will be much cheaper, if you have already some parts and order only used parts. I came from germany, so I´ve ordered most of the parts from german shops like TBS or Magic Magnus for example. I can´t tell you, what a 4x4 will cost, depends also on which parts you need and if you want new or used. Greetz Markus I bet you can´t beat this size *gg Greetz Markus

Sadly i don´t have the buggy motors, but these would be also my first choice then. I thinx two XL Motors are not to weak, cause the transmission uses two wormgears, but we´ll see if it works or not. I will make a "long" video, till all is fixed. Atm I´m changing the steering system, cause its definitely to weak. As Kevinator said: "I believe he had to use two receivers because it needs two motor directions due to the layout of the driveline" <-- That´s right. I guess there is some more to change or fix, but this happens time after time... @ Kevinator: The MiniTruck based on my Design is awesome. Fantastic work.
