  1. I understand how you came to choose your hat. The one you wanted wasn't available. But what about those whose items were available but they didn't choose it? Or chose off of the first list, when their item was destined to be on the second? Is there any significance to that? Probably not, but there might be.
  2. Tammo and I must have posted pretty close to each other. War Machine's helmet should be gone from my list. That only leaves two items (Egon's pack and Superman's hair). Since we are coming up on voting time, I suppose we should start talking about how to go about voting. As usual, this will be a messy and almost baseless Day 1 lynch. There has been very little idle chit-chat, which usually is what Day 1 lynches are based on. With everyone focused only on their headgear, we are left with less to go on than a typical Day 1 start. This has to favor the scum among us. The only thing I can think of is who selected which items. But since all of the items have unknown properties, I can't see how that would help. preference for one item over another won't be significant until we get a feel for which items have the cool abilities. There was jLuck's trying to grab two items. I guess that could be construed as suspicious. Or just not understanding the rules. Crap. Strike that. It was Lind Whisperer who tried to double up. Greedy bastard. Sorry jluck, didn't mean to drag your good name through the mud.

Most of them are placeholders anyway, as the correct prints aren’t available in MLCad at the moment (if ever). There are a few more Star Wars sets that I can’t track down instructions for. If anyone knows where to find the instructions, I’d be happy to model and render them. They are: Comcon039 – The Ghost Starship Fanexpo001 – The Ghost Starship SWMP – Star Wars / M&Ms Mosaic yodacron - Holocron Chamber I left the 'I (Heart) NY' Yoda figure off, as I don't think there's any way we'll get that torso print. 11. I'll second that. I was hoping for some news along those lines. I'd still love to see the two serials that Greg started get finished someday. I know it will never happen, but a guy can hope, right?
  12. Or an April Fool's joke that's not very funny. Either way, it's almost certainly a second account, which is against the TOS.

  14. Unfortunately no Bionicle polybags. City, Chima and Elves polybags, though. Sorry for the confusion.
  15. I would sign up in a hoop. I would sign up with the croup. I would sign up here or there. I would sign up anywhere. Mafia games are the best. My character will likely take two to the chest. Ugh, tempo got out of control on that last line. Sign me up please.
  16. Alright, who's been playing with the swear filter again. As for the news in this post, that gets two big thumbs up.
  17. Sorry you missed it. I was there with both of my kids, and we had a blast. We got a few freebie polybag sets as well. The Bionicle area was pretty cool. It looked to me like all of the parts were from the six Protector sets.
  18. I can't comment on which software is best. It comes down to personal preference. That, and I've only really tried two of them (MLCad and LDCad) Given that, I will comment on MLCad. I've been using it for about 8 years now, so I am very comfortable with the interface. MLCad does have a significant learning curve. There are things I know how to do now that I couldn't fathom doing 8 years ago. One of the other reasons I stick with MLCad as opposed to LDD is the parts selection. If LEGO has produced it, then you can use it in MLCad. LDD is limited to recent parts (I would say only parts currently in production, but if I'm not mistaken, Universe mode opens up some other options). This is a good thing and a bad thing. LDD will restrict you to what is available, so you will know that your MOC can be built. MLCad will happily let you put in a part that isn't in the color you want it in, or is so rare that it is ungodly expensive. Though I don't use it, I seem to remember SR3 is very good for Technic virtual builds.
  19. That's all that really needs to be said. This is absolutely one of the most beautiful MOCs I've ever seen. And the scale is just immense. Very impressive work, Ecc. It brings a happy tear to my eye.

  24. One thing I've neglected to do is to thank all of the players. The Host only provides the stage, it's the players who bring the game to life. I thought everyone was fairly engaged into the game, and really played well, given your mafia experiences. The newer players made some newbie mistakes, but at least they were trying. And more important, I hope they learned from it, too. There were a lot of funny moments, but this quote is still my favorite:
  25. Yes but.... I mean... Hold on, let me check my notes. Here it is. Day 8. No Lynch goes into Night Actions. So if Only a Scum gets killed, SK and Town win. That didn't happen. If the Scum kills the Town and SK kills Scum, SK wins outright. If the SK kills Town and Scum targets Town or SK... WTF! I can't even follow my own notes. fhomess is correct. Scum would win at the start of a Day 9. Dammit. Ummm... Crap. Well, in light of the fact that I am a complete idiot who can't read, I have to award the win to the Scum team as well. I had notes for a reason, and didn't double check them. While Hinckley would have won as long as he didn't get lynched, I am sickened by the fact that he doesn't get the solo win he thought he was getting. For that, I apologize profusely. So, a bit belated, but congrats to the Maples, winners of Unrest in the Forest.
