The Forest Mafia: Day Two
Walter Kovacs replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Poor, poor Booker. His time in this Forest was far too short. It is apparent that the Baker and his wife gave Booker some sort of magic. Unfortunately it was not enough to save his life. It is clear to me that we need to reach a conviction today. Having learned from yesterday, I think we need to discuss whom to convict thoroughly before casting any vote. I must admit I felt a bit handcuffed after voting and unvoting Edgar yesterday. I urge everyone to discuss suspicions thoroughly. Does anyone have any information to get us started? -
Similar? Try exactly the same, except that the feet use this hinge tile instead of a hinge plate and a 1x3 plate. And they updated the older 1x1 brick with 4 studs on sides with a 1x1 with 2 studs on sides. I liked the four sided brick better. It at least gave a hint of greebling on the back. Amen to that. It's recognizable as an AT-ST, and that has to count for something. My biggest beef is that it is just the old version re-released, sans Snowspeeder.

The Forest Mafia: Day One
Walter Kovacs replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
After careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that Edgar is indeed innocent. So I unvote: Edgar Elephant/WhiteFang. So that leaves us back at square one, with nothing to go on. -

I, too, am sorry Edgar. I have thought things over, and the only conclusion I can come up with is that convicting you is the best course of action. I hope you realize there is no malice in this act, and I do so with a lot of attached guilt (if you are indeed a Villager): vote Edgar Elephant/WhiteFang -

While I'm not opposed to voting for Edgar, I also know that we each only get 1 unvote on the day. I need to reread Edgar's defense two or three more times before I make my decision. Helen's initial vote is a shot in the dark, she admitted that herself. What worries me is the speed with which the bandwagon formed, especially given we can only make one mistake in voting per day. But Edgar's defense leaves a bit to be desired, at least to me. I need a few moments to clarify my thoughts. -

Thank you very much, I must have missed that little tidbit. I hope I would have remembered such a large extension. -

I'm not sure if this was answered yet or not. My apologies if it has. I know the LEGO/SW liscense has been extended beyond 2011, KimT has already confirmed that. But have we heard how long the extension is for yet? -

Ah, I can't help you there, I'm afraid. As a b ulldog, everything I have is short and stubby. And yes, that is what she said. -

I can't believe it. I really can't believe that my friends, my neighbors, my potential customers that might one day buy one of my hats (not you Felix, you're my best customer; not that that exonerates you) could be associated with these vile Demon Legion people. While I do not like the thought of sending one of my friends to an unwelcome ending, I fear the repurcussions of not voting could be far worse. I will keep my eyes and ears open for the rest of the day. This is not going to be easy. The Demon worshippers haven't slipped up yet. What makes us think they will slip up this morning. I have a feeling today's votes will have to be done blindly. -
Sign-ups to Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa

The Games moderator (or his friends) have been known to "assist" those who have PM problems in the past. I'm sure something could be done to help those with less than 10 posts. -

It might also help any of those that are completely unsure what a mafia game is like to read through one of the recent games. Werewolf Mafia only lasted 7 days, and it's an entertaining read, thanks to Hinck. Then again, with all of the applesauce flying around, it might not be the best one to read through. -

I am honored to have been chosen. My bio has been sent, including that ugly atrocity called Professor Diem (Bloodbrick). Seriously, that was not my best. I don't think any Insane did well. -

Congrats on getting tagged, Arjay. Now you'll get attention like Shadows gets every game. The truly sad thing is, you could easily have been 4 for 4 in Mafia Games, if Fugazi hadn't stabbed us in the back. -

Mmmm, Fabuland... My favorite Fabuland set is the only one I own (two copies, even. It's a long story ). Set 132, Cottage. Anyway, I'm definitely interested, if you couldn't tell. I really enjoy the sets in the Fabuland theme. They're some very interesting sets to play with, with their mutated animal heads. And there are some interesting accessories, too. And a note to Hinckley: you're crazy. I like that. Your dedication the English language is second to none, though. A second note, given Hinck's propensity of late, do we have to swear like fuckin' sailors during this game? -

Werewolf Mafia: Conclusion

Congratulations to the winners. Hinck played a fantastic game. 5 scum out of 7 convictions has to be some sort of record (ignoring Witch Hunt, of course ) Given my important night action, I thought I'd play the game a little more low key than I did in Eurodina or Bloodbrick. It didn't work. That changed when Hinck sent me a PM titled: After that, I worked closely with Hinckley, trying to earn his trust and prove my innocence. Alas, somehow the Rogues found out about my job (or just had a lucky guess). The only people I told my action to were Hinck, iamded, Eskallon and Lord Arjay, all of whom were townies. So I made no major gaffs there. Like I said in the discussion thread, I have no regrets about how I played, and would play it the same way if similar circumstances arose. Reading that, it sounds like the Rogues found my night action through investigation. Or they just got really lucky Night 2, when I was apparently protected, and decided I was important enough to try to kill again on Night 3. Ah well, my death was completely out of my control this time. Such is life. -

Hmm, I hadn't even thought of that possibility. Of course I'll comply and give a handwriting sample. Perhaps everyone else in our group should do the same. Maybe we can check the sample against other notes we have found. -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Ten
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
While I have no way of knowing for certain, it would seem plausible that the vigilante attacked Matt Liebenston. Captain Ted hasn't been here for very long, but has been helpful in the short time we was with us. Matt, on the other hand, has done very little to help this town find the commies. I have a feeling the vigilante saw this as a sign that Matt was a communist himself. As I have said before, though, I think it is more that Matt had no idea what he was doing. I doubt he actually was a communist. Though we won't know the answer to that for another week. I look forward to seeing what Will has to say about this note. It could be a red herring. It's curious that we didn't find the note when we first searched the boxes.
