  1. As far as I know, Target is suppossed to be carrying set #7679, Republic Fighter Tank. The Target.om site had them listed as out of stock, and no one at my local Target has a clue when it comes to LEGO. So... Constant checking on!
  2. I only keep a few of my sets built. Otherwise I have all of my LEGO bricks organized in Sterilite drawers/containers. For the smaller pieces, I use small nut and screw drawers. It's much easier this way when I want to build.
  3. I haven't seen that 1000 pc box yet...KOOL!!! So today, I pretty much broke the bank: Peril In Peru 2 Hoth Bases Mission 8 RGS from the new Clone Wars AT-TE from the Clone Wars Spider Droid from the Clown Wars Power Function motor and light set More Troll / Orc impulses and some more bulk brick in brown. And, not directly related, but I picked up a new cable for my camera, so now I can get some pictures up!
  4. The TRU in Schaumburg, on Golf Rd., as of 6pm, Saturday the 26th of July: 3 Troll Battle Wheels 4 X-Wing fighters 2 Peril In Peru 2 Hoth Bases 2 Mission 8 I asked the girl at the Target on Higgins and Meacham about the new Clone Wars sets, and if the exclusive Hover Tank was available yet. She told me that they came out on Sunday the 27th? I don't know if she knew what she was talking about, but she did know that there was a limited edition set that they were going to carry...so...who knows. I will check back tomorrow morning.
  5. I just got home, and midnight is in about 15 minutes. I rode past the TRU on Golf Rd. in Schaumburg and there were about 50 people out front...I saw a Darth Vader, couple Jedi, and a bunch of kids swingin' lightsabers around. Looked like they were all havin fun. I chose not to go though because I need to be at work in the morning and 6 of the 8 new SW sets will be available then. Later!
  6. Good job Chicago crew! Yes, that is exactly how the stamp/loyalty card works. I work this morning tho, so I will not see Eilif's display til tomorrow morning...but I'm sure it will look good!
  7. LEGO Woodfield: New Impulse sets - Troll, kayak, street cleaner, crystal hawk New Bionicles Spongebob Emergency room
  8. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The pants on the Giant Troll are hilarious!!!! Well done. You beat me to it!

    My House

Good job. Yet, one question. Why isn't there more crap in your MOC? If it is tobe a true representation of your room, add more junk to the floor!!! J/K. The cabinet of basic colors, good job with that. I was unsure what it was at first til I saw the real picture of your room. Very nice.
  10. Licenced items are returned to LEGO if they say so, otherwise it is to be destroyed. Think they want those things popping up on EBAY? As for other items, I have no clue how other stores deal with them.
  11. Looks great ISC! The Red River Valley, LOL (sorry), looks really good. Keep it just like it is. I mean hey, you could have made it a yellow river...thankfully that didn't happen. I like the different levels of action. Good intensity!
  12. OK? Why is that picture of Swamp Raid, set #8632, marked as Agent's Mission 3? Agents mission 3 is the gold hunt. #2 is Swamp Raid. I know because I see those boxes everyday. Just curious where this box came from? And today, I bought some baseplates off of Bricklink...blue baseplates.
  13. WOW!!!! I'm just surprised...I thought these were all street dated for the 26th of July. At least that's what I read according to Lucas information. Oh well, gratz on getin one of the new sets. I'm looking forward to seeing the Droid Gunship and the Twilight real, real, REAL soon!
  14. I personally contacted Vestas to see if there was any way other consumers could purchase this. The lady stated that since it is a promotional item, it is only available to Vestas customers. SO... Any Vestas customers that have access to this, please pm me. Thanks!
  15. Hellboy II! Very entertaining, lot of different internal themes which made for a good movie! The Dark Knight is set for Friday at noon before I go to work so I already know and don't have to hear about all the spoilers!
  16. Agreeing with Hinckley, Indiana Jones is going to continue. Pencoin, unless the people at The LEGO Grop say a theme is continuing, how can you mark it as confirmed. You really need to go back and edit your original post otherwise more people are just going to keep telling you that you are out of your mind. And by the way.....you are out of your mind. Elves are very possible, why....because a while back there was mention of a Dwarf Faction and we actually got one. Very good potential, but anything can happen that may deter this theme from actually coming to life. As for Pirates, you have no clue, nor do any of us. Wow, a minifigure torso popped up in AZ, that could mean anything. Come on......
  17. Thank you. Sorry, I forgot to say please.
  18. See, that worries me. Sorry to hear you are short pieces. I have one sitting in the box (UCS), waiting to be built, but I have no room to display and at 30+ hours to build......but you are the second person I have heard about that is missing pieces. If you still have the box, what are the codes on the stickers that seal the flaps, if I may ask? Thanks.
  19. If a mod reads this, would you be willing to change the name to "Chicago Area" and leaave off the new products. Just so those of us in the Chicagoland area can keep each other posted? Thanks! Not so much a new product, but America's Best Train and Hobby in Itasca had a few of the older Batman sets, Like Bane w/ the Bat Tank and the Killer Croc sets in stock. This guy sells his regular priced LEGO at 20% off, so even with the slight markup, you still come out ahead. Killer Croc w/ the hovercraft was $15.99. He had the Harry Potter and the OotP Hogwarts too and I think they were $99.99, but not sure how many were left.
  20. WELL DONE! I have an idea similar to this, but it is totally different. I may, however, use your gold 'chunks' idea. I like how you used those roof ends as gold pieces. Very creative. And of course, you have to have the Forestwoman guarding the place.....you are the lurking perv!
  21. I actually really like the way you did the windshield!!! Nice job! That is one good lookin Huey. Minigun looked good, I am curious to see what you did to change it though.
  22. 60% LEGO stores 25% Bricklink 5% Discount stores 5% Toys R Us 5% Online Retailers (Brickforge/Brickarms) Thank god I can count!
  23. WOW!!! Nice one. I should have thought of that. I agree with you on the thumb....Takin' all those 1x1 tiles off wreaks havoc on the thumb, and I hate to use metal. I'm gonna have to pick a few of these up.
  24. Disney in Orlando does have a big wall, it may be the biggest...but there is a lot of repetition on their PAB wall. Out of the three Chicagoland stores, it's a tough call. Woodfield and Northbrook are pretty much on even par. It all comes down to what is available to order from the warehouse at the present time. I prefer the wall at Woodfield I also heard a lot of concern for the white Brickworld '08 box. Many people felt that it was not as good as the green '07 box. Call LEGO customer service and let them know. The company cannot read our minds so If you want something changed....we all have to make an effort to do so.
  25. Thanks Phes! Imperial Trading post would be nice.... Of course, if any, I said ANY, of those cannons shoot, that would be even nicer. Dang American toy rules, that's why we lost shooting cannons and magnets over here. Too many complaints!
