Could just be... *returns to his evil laboratory to plot and scheme.* Man, why couldn't I think of that! Actually, come to think of it, it reminds me of this guy: (Forgot how to shorten links!)

How about class reworks? I've always had this idea for Chi Monk to where instead of being weaponless, they could boast a stance system and use bo staffs (lances), brass knuckles (new weapon type? ), sai's (daggers), kamas (swords/scythes) and so on and so forth. They could go to the training room to apply a stance to a weapon, removing all bonuses except the element and WP and adding the stance. i.e. Bleeding Willow; lance Stance; Brutal Tide - Chi Monk gains bonus SP based on the amount of items equipped, Dragon Claws; fists Stance:Sundering Weave - Chi monk becomes hastened and their attacks will cause a stun for the next round. Cannot be applied on same target 3 rounds after the duration of the stun. it's just been a thought floating around in my head.

I can compromise with with that.

Alrighty then. *Though nothing's wrong with bizarre!* I'll tweak it so it's random.

I wanted to know if this Special is within the game rules : Void Walk - The Planeswalker exits the battle for a round returning with an enemy from a battle raging on in another quest, removing it from the battle. If not I could just choose a random monster from the bestiary but I think it'd be neat this way.

Characters like these make QMing sound like a blast!

If the bard class would only sing Battle Songs I feel some Battle Songs would need to be tweaked to be multipliers of Weapon Power instead of the current flat number heals/damage/buffs.

Thanks for the feed back. Though it may be a bit harder to apply that because of the nature of the quest. I'll start specials and stuff though for now!

Honestly, the only parts in which I would've liked more time is when we first met the circus troupe. Or atleast some character development on the way to the garrison. Though I do commend you for placing it after the garrison fight. And secondly, The aftermath of the battle with Mint and Hamilton. But other those are the only two incidents I could really note. (Also, team Mint won by sheer warrior might! Hamilton needed an Essence to even stand a chance. ) Edit: Also, unrelated to Baltarok but QMing in general. How do you guys write stats for enemies before you even know the heroes you'll be hosting? Started stats yesterday and I'm stumped.

Nope, bonafied tumblr...ian.

'Tis the face of a seal wishing he knew that before hand.

It's more of a bend you over backwards spank you with a molten hot rod kind of thing, then? TL:DR + Cool Characters - Lacking Finale + Crafty Encounters -Balancing issues + Creative Rewards 4/5 Corndogs-Would play again and Thanks for taking me along! But I digress, lets talk about the quest. (If I don't mention it here it's most likely a positive! ) Specifically Quest 90 1. Enemy Balance Baradock fell on his face. Alot. I'm talkin' bout being K.O.'d in a bunch of fights! And when I was up I didn't feel like I was contributing much anyway. The more experienced heroes could make the enemies look like my favorite type of cheese without me. Swiss! Still there were some that I REALLY enjoyed. Being the tentacle fight and the battle at the garrison. So + + There 2. When Proposed with a Decision I'd like it if they were both viable in their own right. Personally I made Baradock go opposite of the main course of action because he's a hipster it fit his character and I was just overall curious. Curiosity almost killed the cat in this case. And why would you want to kill cats? Now with the Baltarok Trilogy as a whole 1. Gotta go fast! I felt at many places there was a rush to sync up with the other quests, and vice versa. I know it couldn't be helped with different levels of activity going on in each quest but it was still an issue for me. 2. No connection between Quests Wait wait, I know I know. The quests did intersect together. But! I feel it'd be neat if there was a way to feel connected when we weren't face to face with the other party. As if something one party did affected another's story telling. 3. That bridge battle though. I don't have much to say on the mechanics of the battle, seeing as how Baradock was knocked out for the most of it and cowering in fear folding a paper swan for the rest! (Hooray for poo-sticks) The lack of a back row was harsh too. And most notably, it felt it dragged out. I know it's hard to get it going when people aren't posting in every 24-hours...guilty...but- It was a finale so I suppose it's okay! Overall it was a good experience to have under my belt and I will be using things I picked up from you guys for when I host a quest! WBD,CMP, and Zepher. Ya did good.

Nah I wont miss 'em. And I'm sure giving it to my new PC is not allowed either.

Just felt crummy when you popped your Phoenix Incense to get Baradock and everyone else that level of experience on the final battle just to have him leave afterward.

Si, si. It was kind of inevitable; and extremely fitting, after the events of Q90. And second, because I can roll with the character I ORIGINALLY had planned to join the hall. (The race wasn't in the Embassy at the moment.) I'm going to hold off on putting him up though and run a quest! So in a few months time I should be back as a character...or two.

A lone barbarian stood outside the hall doors, He slowly placed his palm idle on the wooden finish. A pinch in his brow formed as he exhaled and swung the doors open. They call me a mad man. Baradock's pupils scanned the hall without movement. They call me insane. He wended his way to the only person he owed anything to; and he didn't even know his name. But they are wrong. He cleared his throat, outstretching an open hand to Hoke revealing a Phoenix Essence and about 100 gold. "We are even." Placing it on the table. He did not wait for an answer, instead he craned his head to the hall doors. And began his first steps to a difficult life ahead. I am sane. The doors swiveled open by a changed man. And shut with a thud in his wake. Sane enough to know where I belong. He was sure to continue his pursuit of answers for the death of his people. And he did not need the hall to teach him that. He was no hero. As he walked down the streets of Eubric he turned his head over his shoulder back at the hall, ...and neither are they.

The quest has been a huge positive in my book, QM's! (Maybe not Baradock's ) Just a few nitpicks but i'll write my full review tomorrow.

Question, would lever action flintlock rifles exist in the time of Heroica? I'd think it would count as a hand cannon but I just want to clarify. Edit: (The piece in question http://www.firestart...IG/BIG/3515.jpg) Not what i'm using but it's close enough!

Heroica RPG - Quest #90: A Trip to the Circus

The barbarian stops in his tracks. After a moment of deliberation, Inhaling a bitter cold draft of air, he continued to board the vessel. Each step across the planks felt stingy to his notions, dry, unfriendly. He wouldn't have it any other way. -

Baradock speechlessly starts toward the boat. His iron resolve a little less iron since the beginning of the quest. -

Sorry about my absence. (again.) Had my laptops fan replaced. Baradock looked past her, holding on to the silence he seemed to find so much comfort in. Roaming around in his own head was work enough. Baradock'll take the Heavy Armor 60g and Grand Potion, Chromeknight. -

"Nnrgh!" Baradock shoved the orc corpses that fell on him during his unconsciousness. Sitting up, his gaze fixes on Mirona and another retreating to the back line. He does a double take seeing as there are only two orcs left before grudgingly cantering behind. -
