  1. Baradock nodded as his opponent left the table. He finished off the rest of his ale before getting up his self, moving to the quest board. His eyes widen at the expanding list for three quests. An idle mind is Azazot's playground, he thought. Promptly, he etched his name onto two quests; Baradock signs up for Quest #90 and Quest #91. He turns on his heels returning back to his seat. Thrusting his hand into his pouch, emerging with a vial of ectoplasm. He sniffed it and almost immediately lurched back in revulsion. He placed it at the edge of his table, maybe someone will find that drink worth some coin. For Sale Ectoplasm- Permanently increases ether by 2. 200G (negotiable)
  2. "Someone that I had my eye on..." He gave a wistful smile, "I suppose you could say that. She was my fiance." A pained expression overtaking his face. "And in her final moments she breathed something to me; Sixth. Coffin." He sighed, "And that was eight years ago." The recursive flow of his dialect only stressed his anguish. He moved a piece on the opposite side of the board, purposely abstaining himself from victory. "All I ask is that If you ever solve the mystery that is the sixth coffin you tell me, yes?"
  3. He stammered, thinking hard of the right words. "I fought alongside a Wolfgang member in my last outing." His voice still retained a certain bitterness, "I thought they were one of the good guys. Sixth Coffin however... I still do not know what she meant by saying that." He overtook two of his opponents pieces in a single move. "Game point."
  4. Baradock's expression became despondent before moving one of his pieces. As if suppressing a strong emotion. "I came here to find them. Even if I have to descend into depths of the seventh hell, I..." Realizing what he was doing he attempts to change the subject, displaying discernible strain at finding his words, "So, so Strivvi was it?" he said in an unwillingly casual tone.
  5. Baradock's face clouded up at the raider's question. He unpressed the glass from his lips and set it down. Reclining back in his chair he released a lengthy sigh. He looked out into the hall before he opened his mouth to speak. His distinct accent melted off of his tongue, slowly, bitterly, and with the same elongated syllables that were prominent amongst Konotarians. "Heh..." He paused, "I've been some kind of a mute since-" His statement abruptly strangled. He turned his gaze to the raider's. "You ever heard of The Sixth Coffin?" He didn't bother to take his move. I've found Baradock's vow to be more of a obstacle than an interesting aspect, especially in Gaiden, so i've decided he's silent most of the time due to bitterness, not a vow to silence.
  6. OoC: I was just trying to introduce more RP stuff into the hall instead of just drinking ale. Didn't realize how absolutely long it would take. Baradock raised a curious eyebrow at the mention of Strivvi. Displaying an evident interest on the subject, he had never heard of such a place. He slid a piece up diagonally attempting to counter his opponents move before reaching for his glass.
  7. Baradock averted his eyes once the bartender rested a mug of ale onto the counter. He sipped the suds off the top before making his way back to his table. His eyes widen once he see's he has some company. Maneuvering through the hall and parks on the opposite side of the board. Setting down his drink. A wry smile comes across his face as he realizes his opponent set up the game incorrectly. He nimbly arranges the pieces into their actual starting spots. He gestured to a phrase written on the board, 'Property of Baradock Segul Cannari'. Before out stretching his hand.
  8. Baradock slammed a game piece at the opposite end of the board. Before slumping back in his chair, mentally exhausted from winning the match with himself. An actual opponent would be the next best thing. He sat there for a while, his thoughts of home. The brighter ones, the ones where he performed at pubs, the ones of his youth. A melachony smile creeping along his face. He backed out of his chair, strutting towards the bar. Leaving his game and inventory unattended. He motioned for one drink before leaning on the counter next to an older man, who seemed extremely jubilant. He raised an apparent eyebrow at him wondering what had him in such high spirits.
  9. Tomorrow comes today.

  10. Baradock's hand rested on the doors to the hall. With a sigh he pushed them open. But instead of the doors creaking with strain they swung with a high-pitched chirr. He sported a bloodied cloth wrapped around his arm and a club slung around his back. He avoided eye contact with anyone as he glided to an empty table. He hefted his bag onto the table, emptying out most of his contents onto it. He also came upon a slate. Why'd he bring this along? He dusted it off, suddenly remembering that it was a Konatarian game. Quicker now, he began setting up. The pieces embedded in slots in the back of the board, and within the next minute the board-game was assembled. Baradock hunched over the table, beginning to strategize against himself. A withdrawn expression on his face with a hint of enjoyment. Sliding the pawns back and forth.
  11. Quest 86! Endgame- Awesome quest! It was compelling enough to where I'd find my self refreshing the page waiting for a quest update. The only complaints I have is that there were a few spelling mistakes in your posts, it broke a little immersion, but no biggy! And the second one being, is that Doppel got totally slaughtered. Should of gave him the *Immune to Skrall* effect. Kintobor- Definitely like Karie, though this quest really didn't seem to revolve around her at all! Skrall- I enjoyed how Skrall had a laid out set of morals but he wasn't a hundred percent sure about them. Also appreciated his ordinary nature. The only thing I could think of as a complaint is that maybe he comes off as too wise at times. Cryos- Baradock was super hard to role-play. Most of the time. Anything I could think of to post was just filler. So at points when there were conversations and when there was no option to do an action is where I found it hardest. I'll find a way around that though...
  12. Baradock gives a cold wave back to the witch. Before realizing he had no where really to go but to the Hall. With a casual salute to the others he began strolling in the sunrise. With a little more sunshine in his pocket, he thought. A small smile growing on his face hearing the coins jingle in his bag. ...The Doppel vial still resting at the heart of his pouch... OoC: Awesome quest! I'll have post in the QMlounge in a little bit. Thanks for taking Baradock!
  13. I doubt you'll be seeing more of Deimos. I was the one that invited MC to the game but turns out he doesn't like the forum layout. In the skype chat he just said he probably won't be playing, but I suppose its fine. Text RPG's aren't everyone's cup of tea.
  14. Baradock hung back. A pensive expression on his face. He had just destroyed a great threat but yet he felt so empty. He let his club fall to his side. Looking up to the rain, letting the drops run down his face. 'The rain. It's... It's so warm and soothing, isn't it?' Baradock quickly sifted through his pouch, grasping the vial filled with that which had created the Doppel. But, for some reason he paused. As if something had compelled him otherwise. Slower, he pins back the flap closing the bag. He warily looked around him before jogging back with the majority of the party. Pocketing the smelling salts and ectoplasm.
  15. Maybe I'm just thick, but what exactly do you mean by "cleaning stats?"
  16. Happy Thanksgiving!

  17. (Rewind) Baradock crudely wraps a strip of cloth on his wound not doing much but stalling the bleeding, before submerging from behind his crate. Quick stepping to the Doppel, Baradock attacks Doppel from the back row.
  18. Oh dear, problematic doesn't even begin to describe how hard that fight's gonna be. Also, Baradock probably won't even sign up for Baltarok since chances are so slim.
  19. x16!? Dang! I have to make sure to steer clear of higher levels once I start QMing. To many calculations and scenario specific things to take into account. I'm bound to mess up. and I have to say, Doppels mechanics seemed really cool to be totally obliterated so quickly... I suppose i'm fine with the auto-run...
  20. Baradock made a sound between a grunt and a groan before vaulting behind a crate, using his feet to back himself into the cover. He fumbled in his pouch trying his best to ignore the gaping wound along his arm. Until his hands came upon a potion. Using the potion on Augustus from the back row. OoC: Does row affect potions?
  21. Is attempting to use body language.

  22. A gash that Doppel inflicted along Baradock's arm began to widen from exerting himself attacking the shard. Clenching his teeth he grasped the gaping cut with his spare hand, wishing he had equipped his light armor to protect from such blows.
  23. If you want a song that TRULY fits every situation. Then there's no other contender to Guile's Theme. *drops mic*
  24. Haha! I think does the battle justice.
