  1. In loads of storage boxes, each one for different theme. My Star Wars now deserves 3 boxes though - (1 Original Trilogy, 1 Separatists, 1 Republic) In each storage box, sets are kept the best as possible and instructions are included, if the sets are broken.
  2. I still think most of this year's Clone Wars sets are better than what could be next year's sets. The only exceptions would be the appropriately coloured and detailed TIE for the Anniversary, and the Clone battlepack. Also, TLG (The Lego Group) offers us much cheaper sets in January usually, so they should cost less overall!
  3. Smyth's are starting to advertise in the UK. Maybe it's not just an Irish chain
  4. (It's been edited since then) (Nice use of the Alpha Team base plate for the inner sanctums. It really suits the feel of the movie!) (I also like the way there is plenty of space for minifigs to move and it's not too blocked up)
  5. I don't know about you, but I will actually stick to tradition and open the calendar when it's meant to be opened. (I'll shield my eyes from pictures shown here on EB)
  6. No offense to Ferrari fans (after all, it's an awesome car brand) but TLG keep regurgitating their Ferrari ideas again, and again. All the Ferrari cars which TLG produce are nice in themselves, but after I bought the first few, I haven't found the need for any more. I especially hate those mini sets. What are you supposed to do with them (parts packs?). Don't take my comment too seriously but I don't like the way TLG keep repeating their Ferrari sets. I DID get the first few made and they were good, I still have them!
  7. I really, really hope that the special set is Palpy's office. For one thing, there would be 3 brand new Jedi (and don't forget, perhaps an 'un-anime' Anakin) I don't study every minor Star Wars characters name in my sleep so I don't know the name of the hairy beast (I think he looked like that) Jedi or the name of the guy with very pink skin and something flopping over his shoulders (This guy is killed first by Palpy as his lightsaber is thrusted through his groin ) Of course, a Kit Fisto fig would be awesome because I hate that booster ring and will probably never buy it unless it is on sale. If the special set is Palpatine's Arrest, I would make a wager that Palpy's head has 2 sides (normal and deformed). I hope for £70 the set has a lot of the furniture and massive windows of Palpy's Office
  8. A few people also used resized Pirate pics as avatars
  9. Shanghai Chase could possibly be less than Race For The Stolen Treasure, because there are less pieces. There's only one more minifig in Shanghai Chase than RFTST: ... S.C : New Indy, Short Round Jock, Willie and 2 gangsters. R.F.T.S.T : Repetitive Indy and 3 German desert soldiers (there could have been 2, but I didn't think so) ... Therefore they should be similarly priced! (although the cars in Shanghai Chase look quite small)
  10. KimT already said that people should stop saying things like this. It is likely to be in the Summer list!!!
  11. It seems a bit silly that TLG tries to pull away anything we know about 2009 when we all now know and the information is almost completely true (I doubt Kraken Attack will change much due to the price bracket, so there probably won't be some brick built monster. I ought to buy an Aqua raiders set!)
  12. I really is but unfortunately this would cost more because I think it has more parts and 2 minifigs.
  13. Nice to meet YOU -N13OS-! I feel quite sorry that it seems Exo Force and Mars Mission are ending, but you should be in for a treat with Bionicle next year! I just love guitar (although i don't practise it)!
  14. I think the sets are almost perfect design-wise. They just need some really good stickers. ( I stickers because I always put them on perfectly, so the model looks awesome)
  15. Yes, there is Ferrari! You just have to find it in the catalogue scans Last year, I managed to find that all the new City, Mars Mission and Indy lego were in my local TRU between December 15th-20th!!!
  16. I think there were 4 / 6 releases scheduled for Summer 2009 apreading over the four film saga! That may mean some sets which aren't from the jungle in Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull (all previous ones were) It also hopefully means some sets from Temple of Doom or Last Crusade which aren't too dark or Nazi'ish'.
  17. I wish Lego could create cars in a similar design to Speed Racer with motors! However, I really, really doubt Lego will release any mor Speed Racer sets.
  18. Hmm... I swear I've seen your avatar somewhere - on one of my cousins fave TV programmes Anyway, I seems there are some decent coloured pieces in the building set. For one thing, the pirate minifig is awesome! I'm not sure, but I think he's the only Pirate with an eye patch. The hat the pirate is wearing is only available in sets the price of the Fortress and above as well. I may use some of the nice blue pieces to make any blue plates look as if there are waves in the sea. I could also use spare white pieces to MOD the fort and spare brown pieces to MOD the massive ship! I wonder why there's no Shipwreck Hideout yet? Maybe it comes out in March or May?
  19. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/lokosupe...ay/p1000905.jpg (Change the last 2 or 3 digits before '.jpg' to reveal other pics! I believe they are between about p1000863 and p1000935) "I'm really, really, really, really curious as to what the front of that mermaid on the bow (I can't remember the correct name...) is wearing. " EDIT: Me too!
  20. Yes, I agree lokosuperfluoLEGOman has ran out of pages to scan so he has finally just scanned the front and back pages of the catalogue.
  21. Have you seen the pics Scyzoryk? They more than explain the list!
