You Won't be able to buy any more Clone Wars sets in the UK until Friday midnight (If you want an explanation, Woolworths now have a display saying that the sets won't be sold until then)
-
I expect that Lego will want to continue the Clone wars subtheme a little longer because it is so popular. That way, there are lots of CW sets for CW fans in January and OT sets for OT fans in the Summer. I really hope that 'Separatist AAT' means it will have the blue and gunmetal CIS paint job Looking at the picture of the attack shuttle, it is like the large Imperial Dropship without a middle wing. I hope the attack shuttle has AT LEAST 2 Clones (pilot/Trooper, 2 Pilots) ! Then the separatist AAT can have one or 2 battle droids, super battle droids or destroyer droids

Ah, here is the thread! I'm resurrecting it to speculate what will be in the Shanghai Chase and Flying Wing sets if there were to be released next year. ( These sets have been rumoured at Jedi News, and we know the Indy line will continue into 2009) I'm also resurrecting the thread to see how wishes for new sets develop from this news: e.g A desert scene to go with the Flying Wing I, personally hope that the Flying Wing looks as real as possible and does not have a OTT DSS. Of course, the set must include a Marion and evil muscle guy , but also a pilot and even an Indy variant If possible, the set should incude a Fuel truck / Barrels, some plane accessories or even a small control tower. The Shanghai Chase is not liely to be a large set. It will probably have Short Round's car and a chase car, and a few market area accessories and boxes. I hope TLC provide us with some clever mechanics for these sets No Flick Fire Missiles

OK, I know. Seeing as the rumour list reads "A further six standard release sets are expected in August, spread over all four films" I am speculating more sets for The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull. However, I must contain my excitement in seeing what those Summer sets actually are!
-
I hope there is an Area 51 set from the start of the Crystal Skull Film: -It could a a section of the warehouse (Lots of crates, a truck, some soldiers and the crystal skull) -It could be part of the convoy which brings the Russian soldiers to the facility -It could also be the lab and testing area beneath the crate warehouse where the rocket cart is. OR... DOOMTOWN :skull:
-
Never mind that, the rumour list also involves 2 Indy sets: -Flying Wing Fight -Shanghai Chase But I DO like to see there is a Separatist AAT on the list

1. I really doubt it If they do, they probably want a high price. 2. I don't know. It's not as if I can open the display to see! 3. Again, I'm not sure, but your assumption about the glue seems right. 4. YES 5. The glue may leave marks on the models.

If and when I have spare money from Clone Wars sets (yes I know it's getting repetitive ) then I shall buy more Mistika. In January I bought the new Lewa and now I have just bought Gorast to match. I like the review VBBN It's a good way to see the new parts, not always highlighted in other reviews I haven't really ever been a fan of the 'Stone' Bionicles and I still prefer 'Air' Just so others know, I can definately say that the blaster works very well for a Bionicle weapon My favourite so far was the Gatling guns of the underwater Bionicles, the worst the Barraki squid launchers

EXACTLY THE SAME...

Wow, you guys are lucky, the film doesn't come out until 25th July. I may see it as a pre-Clone Wars celebration (although it has nothing to do with Star Wars, just to get in the good mood ) I'm surprised to see that the film is rated PARENTAL GUIDANCE! There can't be too much violence in it then! I like those little creations you've made Tin7 Judging from the full Dark Knight trailer I saw the other day at the cinema, the Batpod is spot on! "Will you be needing the Batpod sir?" "No Alfred, something more inconspicuous." "The Lambourghini sir?" "Much less inconspicuous?"

Actually, Lilliput is near Sandbanks on the Coast in Dorset (you know, South of England, Jurassic Coast etc.) I'm probably only an hour away from Southampton, so I may take a look and see what those sets are like some time considering I've never seeen them before. Without going too much off topic, what other sets do they sell. I know there were only 2 Avatar sets - Fire Nation Ship and Wind Temple.
-
I like those pics of the minifigs themselves I'm surprised you got extra gear, I doubt it's like that in every set, just a malfunction. I would take it as a bonus though, the same thing happened for me when I bought the Hoth Base!
-
I would say... yes, either the new MTT or the new Death Star out in September
-
TrooperDavinFelth already has it, so is likely to try and review it at some pont soon. .... Unless he doesn't want to review it
-
Really nice review Dfenz I don't see why you should be reluctant in making one! I'm not really a fan of those lifting wings but I the figs. I'm pleased to see that the UK and Ireland are the neighbours who have found most of the new sets so far!
-
He's not going to open it until the weekend (so very, very soon), but I understand your urgency. God! At this rate there'll be no sets left for ME to review (I never get the chance).
-
However much I could have liked Avatar (which I don't )... The sets NEVER came out in in the UK! EDIT: Copying my sig, eh LT. Col. Thok?
-
I don't know what you mean, please specify Ctrl+Alt+Esc. Chris Austin, I too shall go to Woolworths on Monday. I hope there's new stock!
-
The head may be a soft plastic instead of rubber, but I didn't think it was solid. We'll find out soon enough!
-
That's an unusual MOC! It's like a bionicle or Knight's kingdom figure but much, much better! I like the way you constructed the weapon with yellow lantern bricks. I also really love the chains on various parts of the model, and the black colour scheme. Are those technic helmets which you used for shoulderpads?
-
The heads and the capes are different pieces on the guard, but once assembled look whole. I know the head is rubbery, but the cape may be like a normal one. £39.99 for the Magnaguard Starfighter. I think I'll pass
-
WOW! I love the way that the building frontage leans sideways slightly (just like Gotham). I also love the way that you incorporate lighting and movement into your MOCs. The advertising bike outside the shop is very eye-catching! Hope your creation wins the contest ...(unless there is some tough competition )

Nice I haven't had such luck
