  1. I've been to Woolworths and can't find any of the Clone Wars sets, action figures or voice changing helmets! I'll have to look again, but the next time I would be able to go is Monday.
  2. Well I'm sorry, but that's my opinion. Certain other members are in that frame of mind I appreciate that others like these sets, and I should not influence their ('whoever's reading this post's') thoughts.
  3. Those customs were made using the new clone trooper mold
  4. That's the same person we were talking about not long ago because we saw the pics of the AT-TE box. However, at the time we couldn't see the build and detailed figs, so thanks for the link! The AT-TE looks quite bare when the roof panels are taken off but at least there's a lot of room for troopers. It seems as if Captain Rex has a liitle stubble but nothing on the trooper I wish that the person would put those helmet-light things on the captain so we can see them. But now we can see that Rotta the Huttlet is one piece with 2 small arm pieces! (I won't provide the pictures this time, find them yourself )
  5. Am I the only one who doesn't think these sets look any different even though they are different places? I've never heard of those places and only the fact that there was an architect somewhere called Adam Tucker. WILL NOT BUY
  6. Sorry, you may have to remove the picture There is already a thread about this set That's weird, the comment moved. Thanks admin
  7. I can't change the pic to a bigger format and whung always has the first pics, so this size is the only size. It appears that yes, the troopers do seem to have different 'box-names' One must just be 'Clone trooper' and the other may be just 'Clone Commander'
  8. I think we already decided that video game themes may tempt more kids to play video games (not necessarily bad) I don't really see why you need sets to play with when you already have a game to play with?
  9. I just been to my local Woolworths, which is quite big, but it had no Clone Wars merchandise at all. Not only were there no Lego sets, but no action figures or other items. I reckon Lego have been surveying this thread the whole time and have told Woolworths chain: "Only sell the products from July 26th!" I would be very interested to know if anyone else finds more CW sets in the UK. This would be only from today onwards however
  10. Judging by Muttley's finds in the UK, I guess that actually the Tank and DGS are released on July 26th as well.
  11. I suppose 19 ISN't actually a TFOL then. I suppose it was getting annoying! SIG removed
  12. I'm stunned too, but I didn't want to get this set first at all! My priority list is as follows:- 1. AT-TE 2. Separatist Spider Droid 3. Republic Gunship 4. Republic Fighter Tank 5. Droid Gunship 6. V-19 Torrent 7. Magnaguard Starfighter 8. The 'Clunkadunk'
  13. I looked through his folder and can't see any pics of that type, where are they However, I did see that he has all the cache box pics of all the CW 2008 sets!!! Kim-T might want to add them to the first post in the thread Sorry if this takes up a lot of space
  14. The Clone almost looks upset I will go to my local Woolworths 2morrow!
  15. I will search for the new CW sets ASAP. It seems they are in stock at Woolies. If I get ANY of the sets before someone else I will try and post a review. I already can't review the V-19 or DGS though.
  16. Ha Ha I know what you mean about giant accessories (definately those scimitars) Do Fabuland tools count as 'Giant Accessories'?
  17. What the MEGABLOK!!! I can't believe these sets are out early The Indiana Jones Crystal Skull sets were just deja vu compared to this (they were in Woolworths before release) I find it hard to believe these sets are £10 more than my estimations (the CW license must COST ) MUST... GO... TO LOCAL WOOLWORTHS!!!
  18. When talking about prices and price conversion, please be aware that TLG dont usually make exact conversions of currency. Some sets are £20 in the UK, €32 in Europe, but THEN $20 in the USA. I'm happy with the general prices, so I'm not complaining! On a side note, I believe all the new ships (excluding perhaps the RGS) have landing gear for display. The V-19 certainly has a clever landing gear function
  19. I should think it took 20 years to set aside enough cash to buy the Falcon! I had the same problem with the MTT, biggest set I've ever bought. I didnt want to call customer service or go through the site so I improvised! The MTT looks almost exactly the same as it should
  20. The detail in Hellboy is amazing, considering it's a minifig Unfortunately, I don't know the other characters. ... More Agents villains methinks :skull:
  21. He he... Why does Lego want us to know the end of the flick fire missile is red? From some 360 pics, the REPUBLIC gunship and ATTE seem to suit their prices much better! We can also see the close up shots of the figs, such as the sweet pilot In case anyone else asks about more UK prices, here are some very likely and supported estimates: (Also there are a few added hopes and opinions of my own, but the first prices are most likely) Magnaguard Starfighter: £29.99 (A reasonable price because the fighter is wuite chunky) V-19 Torrent: £39.99 (maybe even £34.99 if we're lucky ) AT-TE: £69.99 (the average large set price, seems reasonable for the contents ) Republic Gunship: £89.99 (maybe even £79.99 if we're lucky ) Separatist Spider Droid: £19.99 (very nicely priced considering the minifigs) The Twilight: I'm unsure of this, but it must be between £55 and £70 Droid Gunship: £24.99 estimate (Would be a good price...) Republic Fighter Tank: £29.99 estimate (Very likely )
  22. Stickers DO provide possibility for much more increased detail. No Stickers allow for more MOCing with the parts. It's a win-win situation really all the time. Put the stickers on only if it's necessary to increase the aesthetics of the model.
  23. It will now!
  24. PLEASE read the topic, I already posted that a mere 2 or 3 pages back!
  25. Thanks for the review... ...Unfortunately the Droid Battle Pack is discontinued for the Uk S@H ...Also the Clone Battle Pack is discontinued for the USA S@H ( for the Americans)
