  1. Schwartzeneger would be proud to battle an alien as good as this. *In the Arnie voice* You must be Annihilated!
  2. AH! The PS3 can solve that crisis. It prints truckloads of green!
  3. The admiral still looks like he's enjoying it
  4. Nice review Svelte Corps, hope to see the finished one very soon I think it's odd how the pilot droid's headpiece is a skellie leg - from the back it must look quite odd. I already have two magnaguards from the starfighter which I got for Christmas, however, the Dooku minifig still looks very tempting... I love the printing on the face and torso, and I love the new hair (+ the new US secretary of state ). It's all good with Dooku. It's hard for me to undertsnad where TLG are coming from with that launchable droid cockpit... Why TLG? (Oh, and why FFMs...) I do like the design of the ship, but because Star wars is so expensive I'll stick to my plan of Republic Shuttle or AAT. Hmm... my birthday is coming soon though. Maybe I don't have to buy the Solar Sailer for myself ...
  5. King's Carriage I think I might pass on the King's carriage. I already have many carriages from previous castle lines. I also already have the sweet King minifig because I got him in the Castle magnet set. The carriage may be between £7.99 and £12.99, judging by the box size. Drawbridge Defense This looks like the best set actually in my opinion. (excluding MMV of course ). I like the inclusion of skellies in a set again because I already have a mixture of trolls and them (however, only about 3 white skellies) The actual drawbridge looks well designed, and I think it can be used as some sort of outpost for the crownies. I don't really understand the inclusion of the unarmed Jester (which I have from the advent calendar). However... I the Golden Knight. The Drawbridge may be between £20 and £30. Troll Mountain Fortress I don't really like this set. Sure, it has really awesome minifigs, especially the new green ogre, but I don't like the setup. The fortress doesn't seem to have any back walls, which I don't really like. I preferred the innovation of the Skull cave from '07. It's much better as the evil hideout, but I must admit there isn't enough room for the troops and there's only a little rock catapault The fortress may be £50. my 666th post... I hope it's not a bad omen!
  6. The Impulse sets for Space Police aren't very inspiring (I think the Impulse speeder guy also has the ginger angry Viking head ) TLG just couldn't resist putting a FFM on the K-9 Bot, could they? How on earth is anyone meant to shoot it effectively? That said, I do really like the sleek look of the Space Hot Rod, with that Skull Villain being the icing on the cake. I hope these sets have proper functions in them (some might call them play features)...
  7. Can you tell me where the folder is or how you found the folder? Thanks I still don't think having Nute Gunray and a Greedo lookalike (I haven't seen any of the Clone Wars because I can't) justifies a price of £30 or £40 (judging by the size of the box). I love the COrporate Alliance Droid though. It looks perfect, almost exactly the same as in Star Wars episode III.
  8. Mindstorms always seem to be too expensive, and I believe this is not too dissimilar from the last one. I think I'll pass on that set unless it becomes cheaper, because I must admit the robotics are awesome!
  9. I can draw the pics if anyone wants to know what the sets look like - after all, then it's not official box pictures! Just so you know though... Crystal King is about as big as the mining mech, but the whole set is really a monster made out of bricks. Doesn't look very good. That said, this small set does include 2 miners and a massive two handed drill Rock Wrecker (I think). This is hard to describe. It is like a variation on the cutting digger and the driller. In this set, both sides of the machine have 4 'a-la-Jungle-Cutter' circular saws with orange stickers. A large sulfurix also! Titanium Command Rig is like a mixture of the thunder driller and crystal sweeper. It looks quite square and boxy, but each part looks removeable so it can be customised. This set includes at least two miners, Glaciator in a cage and a large Meltrox! P.S: Sorry if I can't post this info.
  10. Wow! Nice link. Thanks The Cairo set box looks like it's been cut off! Very small as well. I'm loving the design of the German plane in the plane set though - perfect!
  11. And that's why I barely ever bought city sets when I was younger - no one for the services to interact with! I'm not going to say I'll definately buy this set, but I do still think it's awesome with a VERY DETAILED review! ...I might not buy it because all my money is going towards Star Wars and Power Miners
  12. I still haven't seen any scans of Space Police for Summer or Power Miners (or Lambourghini ). There have only been those blurry town pics, Star Wars pics and Bionicle pics so far.
  13. I think it was indicated green or lime, so it could be a massive Sulfurix. I wonder when the Uk will get the Boulder Blaster? I want it now!!! ( ) My guess is that the blaster will cost the either the same or inbetween the prices of the Claw Digger and Thunder Driller, maybe £14.99.
  14. I can see people like me aren't wanted in this thread. Ah well, I won't post here any more I could probably make a moc of anything, except avatar...
  15. Is this a joke (along with everyone else), cos' I'm getting sick of seeing that pic all the time! If you wanted to be sarcastic, just leave the pic out! Oh and by the way, I don't really care whether the Venator has the emblem stickers or not, as long as the ship design is accurate.
  16. Good raffle... I don't know anything about Avatar though, and don't intend to find out. One day rare bricks, you will be mine It's a shame I can't get Avatar lego in the Uk (officially). Otherwise I might have seen the programme to see what it means...
  17. Yes. Another Star Wars fan from the Uk Hope you have fun here (and enjoy pics of the Summer 09 sets )
  18. That doesn't stop me from maiing my own guesses I hope there's more like this from the toy fair!
  19. I wonder why the person who posted those pics on the internet didn't post Space Police confidentials as well I think I'll already be bankrupt by June or July, but I might be able to squeeze in the smaller sets and the Battle Of Endor. I'll guestimate the prices... Echo Base / Corporate Alliance Droid: £14.99 -£19.99 Separatist Shuttle (no, I don't care what the proper name for it is): £29.99 Y-Wing ( ) : £39.99 Venator Attack Ship / The Battle of Endor ( ): £69.99-£89.99 All in all (excluding the Y-Wing ) good sets!
  20. That was the case with some of my exam results when I was taking them. Of course, I might get some sort of reward for good marks but I never got massive amounts of pocket money for a certain grade (even if it was an A). But that's besids the point. Of course I'm jealous because I can't afford that amount of sets all in one go - but isn't that the reason the kid filmed the video - to make people jealous. I just hate the way that kid pushes the figures in your face and says how 'friggin' awesome' his collection is! You know, pride is just as much of a sin as jealousy... Really? Have fun breaking your arm!
  21. I think they have for a week or two Phes, but thanks for pointing that out () Arrived three days ago and already built - Brickbeard's Bounty, Soldiers Fort and one Soldiers Arsenal. I Brickbeard's Bounty. The Soldiers Fort is pretty small though.
  22. I remember starting one of these topics a while ago - it was dismissed within hours! PSN: lagoonguy Currently playing: LittleBigPlanet and Motorstorm Pacific Rift (also PS2 game: Timesplitters 2) Time zone: Uk, it was 7:30pm at the time of this post Like Home?: No, not really. They need more film trailers! Games I've got: LittleBig Planet, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Burnout Paradise, Time Crisis 4, Lego Star Wars (complete saga), Marvel Ultimate Alliance and one or two others which I barely ever play. I will also onlyu accept invites from eurobricks members, so make that clear!
  23. WHAT A SPOILT KID!!! I ordered 1 Battlepack. Only 1! Sorry. I don't have £150 just floating around. I would have never got £150 of sets in one go when I was this kids age, even for my birthday or Christmas!
  24. I have not been on the forum much lately but I did make sure I hadn't won anything in the calendar - which I didn't. Those prizes look sweet though - generous donors!
  25. Doh! Why not at Legoland Windsor?
