  1. All of Black Eyed Peas' songs and all of Gorrilaz's songs
  2. Thanks for that info and reminder Joey. I can't wait to order some sets tomorrow! (hopefully ) I wonder if Space Police will appear with a symbol too...
  3. It's just been posetd on Brickset that from a reliable source SPIII is now in the UK. It says on Brickset.com's frontpage that a credible source told one of the mods that the Lego stores in the UK are now stocking Space Police III sets. (This does not mean that they will be avilable yet however). If you live near enough to a Lego Store in the UK, it is suggested that you phone ahead to avoid disappointment when there. (Unfortunately, I don't live ANYWHERE near a Lego brand store to merit a trip to one )
  4. I know I'm in the Uk and nothing's been confirmed at all for us yet about Space Police, but... ... I'm going on holiday to Spain in the first week of July. Is Space Police likely to be available at TRUs there? I'm just asking because I'm not going to be buying any Space Police sets on any sites other than Lego Shop@Home. I remember that some countries weren't going to get Space Police III but was Spain included in that list? If not, I'll be going on a Spanish shopping spree I really want that Hyperspeed Pursuit! (but even the smaller sets would do)
  5. I too am in a similar situation - as well as the fact that I haven't bought manys sets for a while becuase of Star Wars Summer 09 releases. I'll get back to reviews as soon as I am able.
  6. I like that story Roadwalker. I'm glad to see you finally turned to the Lego side ... and yes, stepping on Lego in bare feet is akin to walking on hot coals or on a bed of spikes I would assume your favourite theme is City, but do you have any others? Hope you enjoy it here
  7. I don't have the cash to pay for £30 MORE of Lego as well as what I've already got unless new Star wars Summer sets come out soon before the chromie stocks run out. I'm saving enough money for Summer sets only - not excessive January stuff. Big Pete - Like you, I also bought: 1 Separatist Spider Droid 1 Stormie Battlepack It seems a very popular combination because I have seen a lot of poeple on different websites using it
  8. The news has spread to Brickset and I think Brickhorizon as well, so hopefully many more UK Lego fans know about the news now. Looking at the survey currently, on this post: 10 people don't mind what I do but 8 people want me to open my chrome Vader. I'll open it later - I'll need to make sure my hands are spotless first Hopefully my TRU will still have some Chrome Vaders in stock when the UK Star Wars Summer sets come out! @ Jammiedodger: I think you can only get one at once, even if you spent £200.
  9. It's plastic like any normal minifig, but it has been molded using a shiny metallic finish. The lightsaber hilt is the same pearl silver as the lightsabers in the other January Star Wars sets. The bag that the chrome Vader comes in is way too big, considering it's just the parts for a minifigure.
  10. I just thought. Why doens't this topic have a poll so everyone can compare what people like easily with straightforward data? I would guess most people's favourite consoles are the ones they own, but I think PS3 is better than Wii and the computer.
  11. Glad to see someone else noticed. I started another thread elsewhere for a UK update this morning. EDIT: The thread I started this morning is HERE
  12. You must be thinking about the (Coastguard) Helicopter Transporter that's new for the Summer. I'm not really sure if it's for the coastaguard. I would like to see TLG releasing modular buildings - you buy one floor of a certain type of building, then stack them after collecting a few to create slighlyr taller buildings. Market Street etc. can be a bit too much money! For Star Wars - an equal balance between Clone Wars and original trilogy or Episode I. Episode I- Gungan Soldiers, shield generators and tan AATs!
  13. I think PS3 is amazing not only becuase of the graphics and the Blu-Ray player capability, but also because it has so many cool exclusive games (such as Motorstorm 1 and 2 and Resistance 1 and 2), the Network is easy to naviagte and has a life simulator to hang with friends when they can't see you in real life and also the items and downloadable content on the PS Store are often great, free and/or fairly priced. I have never owned an Xbox but I have played on the 360 at a friend's. The graphics are not as good as PS3 because the 360 console is older. However, I will say that Xbox is VERY cheap for games players with a tight budget. I have a similar opinion for Wii, but on the Wii, the focus is on movement and certainly not on graphics! And I also enjoy playing on the Computer e.g. AGE OF EMPIRES SAGA!
  14. That's fine Captain Rex - this thread needs more PSN names. Here's an update on what I like playing - Motorstorm Pacific Rift Burnout Paradise Call of Duty World at War For anyone who enjoys Burnout Paradise, there's a massive new area called Big Surf Island being released 11th June as a downloadable. I also sometimes get bored of Motorstorm and CoD:W@W because they often have cheaters
  15. @ Peppermint M: There was no new Star Wars - just a display with all the sets from January. Apart from City, there are no other Summer sets, unfortunately @Jammiedodger714: My closest TRU which I almost always use is TRU Poole in Dorset. I don't know about any other sightings yet. Examining the survey results of the posters so far, I would guess that I need to "open the chromie to savour his goodness." I'll wait a bit longer though
  16. Hello everyone! Haven't posted for a while. I've literally just been to my local TRU to investigate which sets are there. I was surprised to see first that a small Star Wars display had been introduced near the door. Upon closer inspection, the display actually said... FREE 4cm DARTH VADER MINIGURE WHEN YOU SPEND
  17. I expect the purchase price for the Chrome Vader won't be cheap though actually, so I may not pay as many visits as I thought. And besides, I like it when the UK have it easy - it barely ever happens so I'm thankful when it does!
  18. Thanks for that info alsonar Finally, the actual date when the promoyion SHOULD hit the UK. I'll have to do what Jammiedodger is doing and purchase each new set I want separately! That means more chromies for me 1.) To not open and save as a valuable 2.) To open and display 3.) To use in dioramas, battles etc.
  19. I don't think the Clone Wars on Cartoon Network have finished yet for season 1. Probably won't get season 2 until February 2010 in the UK! However, I'm glad that the series continues
  20. Where is the Rocket Racer Shop? Is it next to the Big Shop where the design studios and a cafe are? Thanks for the other tips. I'm going to Legoland soon as well - in about a week. I would like a brick keyring with my real name engraved on it, but that's in Cuddles Corner
  21. That's exactly what I was thinking about the size of the offer, but I hope Europe as a whole gets some exclusive deals soon. And people from the USA who want a chrome Vader - you've already got them in random sets.
  22. Happy B-Day Copmike (as you used to be called! )
  23. I hope TLG has plans for these chrome Vaders in the UK because I'm dying to get one in a Summer set. Afterall, loads of pages back someone from Engliand asked TLG about it and they said they might be providing them but could not put them in the January set randomly! I think for now I might buy the Leia, Boba and Vader magnet set.

    City '09?

Yeah, in my magazine there was a massive picture of the pickup roadside truck from the garage and the garage in the background. The magazine also read earlier that the next magazine would contain 'Top Secret information about new sets'. I hope 'Top Secret' means as secret as the ATOT and Dropship was!
  25. A mouthwatering juicy steak!!! (preferably Gamorrean of course)
