Very impressive; never liked that mask though... Very impressive eitherway

Well the Ice Protector is one the finest constraction sets ever...I may not even bother with the nice Toa...may buy a Toa for the gearbox and put it on a protecter hehehe. Looking at the Protector of Fire chest build...and the Protector of Earth's leg and arm build.... Hrmmmmmm :) Guys quit arguing about diff. In opinion. I've been analyzing the gear boxes...they may be too big for a defender...unless you make the defender a little bigger hrmmmm, but its charm is its small size...hrmmm

its been almost a year....since I've signed in. I'm very much interested in several of these sets. Looking forward to the reviews, hoping the sets come out very soon! I purchased a few of the unreleased in the US Chima sets to get extra parts ready for them. I wish the chest pieces had stickers instead prints....or different Bionicle style mold all together. Any idea if the different masks will be made in different colors...other gold?

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Futureâ„¢ Time Machine
Rayskull replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Licensed
have they explained why they murdered the hood? Otherwise its a really cool set... its just that the original casts it in its shadow. -
Greetings friend! Is it the The 3vil set you speak of? I was actually already into this theme when they came out. Perhaps inspired by 3vil i don't remember, I've always liked the skulI moniker since Duke Nukem....won 3rd place in a 3vil LDD creation contest. This was my entry: http://www.brickshel...ycle_detail.jpg My first Skull Ship was this: http://www.brickshel.../100_079701.jpg I've been obsessively simplifying the concept over the last 5 years...wow.

My smallest ship at the Grim Outpost Thanks, these aren't the 3vil Space Skulls but I'm sure I was originally inspired in part by 3vil, I've always had a thing for Skulls and Blue. I call them the Grim Guardians of the Galaxy!

Thanks guys, I'd like a helmet like that too :) I built the hinges last, it was very much a puzzle. I always build compact because I'm a perfectionist on a budget, haha

I've been working on this redesign for a while, this theme for years: Wait till you see how it opens! There are cannons under the cheeks ....you cant see them here :( Or Here Hrmmm... I did want them somewhat hidden, but when you see them, they really do look awesome tucked in there! I amazed I made it work so cleanly here... watch this: Two Doors, he can egress from above or to the back! That's his Seat! Next the controls! Bonus the LDD file: http://www.brickshel...an_commando.lxf And a really nice LDD Scene: (you can see the cannons here) http://www.brickshel...ando_scene1.png Thanks for checking it out, I'm kind of pleased with how it came out :D

Interesting, I really want scorpio now, I like the heel toe feet

okay maybe not XL but I used the double torso technique I learned from Stormer XL, I intentionally kept him as small as I could though :)
-
My neighbor gave me Stormer XL for Christmas (I was shocked...I'm 30 yrs), and i was suddenly hooked and inspired. So I took Toxic Reaper (which was on sale for ....$6 so I bought two others (also on sale) and this is the result: Please forgive the large sized images, (Windows 8 seems to have done away with MS Paint's scale function) :P Note the Predator like shoulder cannon; its adjustable. Also note the switch to conventional legs and the addition of a heel and toe. I shifted the canisters to his right shoulder to make room for his shoulder cannon. A little Action :)

I'm very impressed with the proposed sets, I pleaded for visors in my support notes. The Space Patrol guy from series 7 lacks a visor and that's kinda scary... - I'd go for a $25 dollar range, but I'd pay more if necessary. I pledge my complete support. - I don't really care what type of vehicle it is. I actually like the drop pod idea a lot. - Do you think LEGO is willing to make custom minifig armor and helmet for this set?

Hi guys I've been a long time lurker, popping in and out from time to time, but I've been very frustrated with the new LDD. There's just too many bricks to play with, I know that sounds weird but the limitations of the old LDD made building projects much easier. Especially considering now when Design by me has not be replaced. Is there a way to download old versions or limit bricks to the pick-a-brick selection? I guess I'm still mourning the incredible, if expensive, Pick-a-Brick service. Any news on a replacement service? Thanks, RAY

Impressive. I really like the use pieces on the fighter / dropship. I like the mothership too, but I feel that it could be named better. The base is excellent also. Inspiring me to make a better base myself.

Very awesome, The trouble that you went through with the legs is amazing.
