REVIEW:79003 An Unexpected Gathering
PsyKater replied to Captain BeerBeard's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks for this early review. Regarding the design, you say that it is not perfect. How do you think it could be better? I've read some reviews mentioning that this is one of the best sets TLG has ever released, so I am just wondering. But I have to agree with the price (79,99€?! WTF?!) and the stickers. This is really a shame. We have to keep in mind that children may prefer stickers in general (I did as well) because they can use the parts on another way. But in licenced sets or with such special parts, it would have been better to use printed parts. One sentence to the sticker story: I do not understand why LEGO is not using printed parts in general and putting the same parts non-printed as extra-parts in the box. Should not be that expensive and it would be great for children to have both abilities. -

Heartlake Heartbreak - Day One: Heart to Heart

Again a lot if things happened. I think I have catched it all. While I was recapping the things that have being said , my tendency to vote Trisha was moving up and down. But the last statements are really weird (again). While I am really not sure if Trisha is just uncertain how to defend herself, I think the is throwing confusions since the beginning. And now again to make us townies confused and retract our votes. So no, my vote still stands. What will be the consequences? A) We lynch a confusion throwing scum. Hurray! B) We lynch a neutral that is making our life harder and could kill us all off. C) We lynch a townie that is not really helpful at all. Not that bad. And maybe we could learn some things from the voting pattern. You see, I was just typing on smartphone talking. If you appear to be town, I will be sorry (really), as you contacted me in private trying to clarify things as well. But it seemed you lose interest pretty soon. Maybe it was because the things moved so fast. I am neither convinced that you are scum (or third-party) nor that you are town. But I am convinced that it is more helpful to lynch for you than to do not. As I said. Sorry. Or not. Replace "lynch for you" either with "vote for you" or with "lynch you" -

Yes, you should! xD If you have any questions feel free to ask. If I have time I can help you in private. Otherwise I advise you zo use the Heroica Index, starting from the top. You do not have to understand everything, only the basics. Just start and have fun. -
Hey guys, I decided that someone else can enjoy this little set as it is not available before christmas. I intend not to gain extra money, so you could try your luck, getting your hands on this set. It is MISB, excellent condition. Non smoking household. If you have any questions, please ask. http://www.ebay.de/itm/130813678085?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_500wt_1227 Shipping to other countries could be possible but I'd have to check first. Good luck!

Heartlake Heartbreak - Day One: Heart to Heart
PsyKater replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
If it helps us anyhow I'd like to state as well "I am alligned with the town". This is truly a better statement to clarify by a lie detector. But please help me. Why do we think that we have a lie detector after all? This whole "I have an eatable item that makes other people say the truth" seems to be BS after all. So why do we still go with this theory? And what do we have until now for these lunches? Fred claims he has a "lunch" which seems to be a roleclaim. And Daisy as well?! Has someone else already claimed having such a thing? And the hedgehog claims he doesn't have any lunch? Or did I get this wrong? Anything else? I just want to understand if this lunch thing is anything that will help us, or if this is just a minor issue. Or if it is a hoax like the lie detector after all. What exactly makes everyone think that Fred is not scum? My first theory does not make so much sense anymore to me. But I still have a weird feeling with Fred. The reason for this is that he was so eager for Trisha claiming this cookie-thing, then eager to make a "helpful" list which is not helpful at all without any lie detector, then eager to stop this cookie-thing on his own, then eager to make Trisha looking foolish, but himself not voting for her. This is ... weird. Not enough to draw my vote upon him yet, but to draw my attention. Noted. Or ping. Or something like that. -
Unfortunately the pictures are not showing up?

Yes, it is in 60017 in darkred as well, as you mentioned. I just started to mention the new parts in 60018. That makes me noticing that the front of the darkred sports car and the red fire car are almost the same

I try to start now. Pictures and more infos will follow. New parts in 60018 Cement Mixer Part 11458 (PLADE 1X2 M. VAN. HUL Ø 4,8) seems to be completely new. It is a plate 1x2 with a technic hole instead of one of the studs. There are 2 of these in 60018 in Dark Bluish Grey. Part 11211 (BRICK 1X2 W. 2 KNOBS) seems to be new in light bluish grey. Part 98280 (WALL 1X6X3 W. STUDS) seems to be new in bright yellow. It is the same panel that is used for the Dumper Truck and is listed at LDD as train part.

You could take part in Heroica while you are waiting ;) -
I blame WhiteFang. Sorry my post tomorrow seems a bit rude to me now. Actually I was a bit annoyed as some posts I had put much effort in were posted yesterday. But all of this is not important. Let's enjoy this great community. And it is still unbelievable that this thing is run by volunteers and does not cost a penny (or a cent). Many thanks to our hosts, admins and staff! You are doing a great job! Finally a little question (to make the next crash even less nasty): How big is a database backup (not file backup)? Could it be made on a hourly basis? And to make the missing smartass line: Always expect the worst, backup before restart. I love you guys!

Yesterday I posted new parts. Was that interesting? Then I will recover it tonight.

Memories: Amma strolled in the Library. She was impressed by the high shelves with all the books. Would anyone have the time to read all of them? She was looking for information about a deity named Mercutio. She went to the shelf with containing literature about gods and higher creatures. There was an exemplar of a book about Mercutio. She took it out and began to read. "God of merchants... moon is his symbol ... playing tricks, cheating, god of thieves..." Amma put the book back into the shelf, feeling disgusted. "Not that kind of God, I'd refer to." With that Amma wants to leave. OOC: Sandy, if you want to, you can make Byblos coming in her way, and we can make that little dialog again. If you don't think it is important, Amma has left the building and that dialogue has never happened...

Heartlake Heartbreak - Day One: Heart to Heart
PsyKater replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Phew, I am lost in all this discussion. How can a cookie be a lie detector? I heard they are vomit-inducing? So does she want to read the truth in my poop? Strange doctor. Well, just that you know, I am innocent as well. But I think this is weird. Just as this cute little hedgehog said, it started somewhere completely different and then it became this lie-dectector one-use cookie thing somehow. Maybe because this little hedgehog has read too many stories on his computer. However, I will vote: Trisha (TrumpetKing67) for now, because I want you to clarify this whole thing. Your claim does not work out properly, if you understand what I mean. Maybe start again from the beginning. Or admit that it was just a joke. Give us something. If you can convince me about your action, then I will retract my vote, as I do not want to sacrifice such a (possibly) important role for our town. But now you just seem to try to make yourself important for the town to save you from lunch lynch. Pretty scummy, don't you think? Scratch that. While I was thinking what I was about to say, this police officer came with doubts about this lie detector thing himself. I have to think about it again. My vote still stands as I still want Trish to clarify (more then ever). Something that came to my mind and I think it was mentioned before, is that this whole thing could be made up. It is just a thought and I want it to put into the room so that we can discuss over that. My point is that the scum could have made arrangements to claim this whole lie detector thing. So Trisha and the police officer (what was his name?) could have tried to appear helpful for the town. As it did not work, they try to retract now. I will think about it and come back later with my thoughts. I am curious what the discussion will bring up until then. -
Restored post. Originally posted on 3 December 2012, 11:15 AM (GMT) "Ætti ég að byrja að tala móðurmál mitt? (Soll ich anfangen, meine Muttersprache zu sprechen?) I just think it would be better if we all try to speak the common language. And I fear that some Elves are offended by me. Or something like that. I don't trust you. I can't trust you. Nothing too racist. Just. You Elves are in cahoots together." Enough that I know what you want me to ask, my dear., she thinks but remains quiet. "Hello! I am still here! And I can understand what you say when you speak the common language!" Amma rolls her eyes. Elves aren't that superintellegent they always think they are. Amma was satisfied with her first attempt in communicating with other beings. It turned out that she wasn't out of practice at all. She leans back in her chair, smiling pleased with the last hours, and tries to get some sleep as well. Amma woke up by some noise at the quest board. She noticed that there were two new quests. She yawns and jiggles over to the board. A big quest for experienced Heroes. Again. Nothing for me. And the other one? Hmm... sounds short and easy. Maybe I can offer my abilities there., she thinks and writes her name under the other two names, signing up for Quest 54. Oh, Ellaria wants to join the quest as well. Maybe we will go together. After that, Amma leaves the Hall once again to see more of Eubric. On her way out she bumps into another elf, all darkgreen and bright hair. Here has to be a nest somewhere, so many Elves. Wonder if I met HER again as well.
